We took the rug outside onto the patio and attempted to clean it with our carpet cleaner. The stain did not come out. In fact none of the dirty areas cleaned up. It is CLEAR the Goof Proof was not applied. Guardian Protection is the company that handles Goof Proof claims. They denied my first claim saying I did not submit it within the 30 days as stated in the policy. I submitted the claim THREE DAYS after the incident. I resubmitted a claim, well within the 30 day requirement, and they STILL DENIED it. SCAM SCAM SCAM. They gladly take your money and don't stand behind their product. When you pull up the original order, I can leave a review on the sofa and ottoman but not the rug. I wonder why. The $500 rug looks like crap. I contacted Bob's customer support and they wouldn't do anything. Just said they understand my frustration. I will not buy another item from Bob's.

After about 10 minutes of looking around, a salesman greeted us. He was polite at first, but he was trying to assist us while also helping another customer. It was obvious multi tasking is not for him , and we never really received the attention needed for such a large purchase. Around 8:40 PM, the music was turned off. I was by the coffee and cookie station getting my child a cookie when a woman I assumed was the manager (dark hair in a bun) began putting away the coffee and refreshments. Loud enough for customers to hear, she told the salesman, "Yep, it's time to go home. Time to close up." The problem was that the store didn't close for another 20 minutes. Whether there were 20 minutes left or only 5, that's not how customers should be made to feel. The message was clear: they were more interested in getting everyone out the door than helping customers. Shopping for furniture is a major purchase that takes time, and once we felt rushed, we had no desire to continue. I completely understand that employees want to go home after a long shift, but if your posted hours say you're open until 9:00 PM, customers should receive the same level of service until 9:00 PM--not feel like an inconvenience because they came in during business hours. That interaction made me question what kind of customer service I'd receive after the sale if there were ever a problem. If customers are treated like an inconvenience before they've even made a purchase, it's hard to have confidence in the company afterward. We decided to leave without buying anything. The next morning we went to Ashley Furniture in the neighboring shopping center, where we were welcomed, never felt rushed, and ended up purchasing our living room furniture there instead. Unfortunately, Bob's Discount Furniture lost a sale because customer service ended before the store's posted business hours did.

We had stopped at one store before Sleepy's and had already resolved to check out at least two more afterward in the interest of comparison shopping. Sleepy's was by far the best retail experience that we had when shopping for a mattress, with pillows that fit with our sleeping styles and an expert sales experience that worked for our unique needs. It's rare to find someone who both wants to make the sale, and has enough experience to do talk expertly about the product, so that was refreshing. After about 45 minutes of trying out different mattresses that met our needs, we settled on one that was quite a bit above our initial price range. Even so, the weekend's special deals made it a unique, one-time deal that was too good to turn down. We completed the purchase, scheduled a delivery, and have no regrets about our purchase. Despite the negative review below, the salespeople at this location do seem quite knowledgeable and willing to make a deal. While they swear they're not into hard sales pitches, though, the truth is that they really are. We're not prone to giving in under those conditions, but this was a good deal regardless. Steel yourself against persuasion upon entering and think rationally, and you'll leave with a great product and investment.

I expected to receive furniture that was clean, safe, and in acceptable condition--not furniture that continues to have a persistent unpleasant smell weeks and months after delivery. What has made this experience even worse is the company's customer service. I have contacted them multiple times to report the issue and try to get it resolved, but instead of receiving a clear solution, I have been given the runaround. I have had to repeatedly reach out regarding the same problem, and I still do not feel that my concern has been taken seriously. At this point, I am extremely frustrated. I should not have to continue contacting a company for months about an issue that was present from the day the furniture was delivered. I paid for a bedroom set that I should be able to enjoy without having to deal with a persistent foul odor. I would not recommend purchasing furniture from this company based on my experience. Unfortunately they did not have it and needed to be ordered. The sales man offered me a dresser that looked nothing like what a wanted and it was $100 more. He also seemed like he wanted to get me out of the store as soon as possible. Reluctantly I ordered the dresser which was going to take 3-6 weeks. I put down a deposit, but was able to find it somewhere else with sooner availability. I called Furniture and More for a refund on my deposit only to be told I could only have a store credit. I had no choice at this point but to wait for the furniture and pay for the rest of the product. I received a phone call later that week stating I could have my dresser delivered sooner than planned. The delivery was scheduled for that Saturday. On Saturday the wrong dresser was brought to my home. Needless to say $400 I was not happy. I called the store and they told me this is what I ordered. This is not what I ordered. This is what the salesman tried to sell to me and I did not want. I was told I would be issued a refund which is not even pending into my account. I called and the women who supposedly issued the refund was condescending and very rude. She asked if I have ever been issued a refund and I said she. She said "I don't doubt it". The whole process took less than 30 minutes. Very friendly salesman named Jason. Side note: our last mattress was an online purchased mattress delivered in a box. Let me say, nothing beats laying on your mattress beforehand. And having them deliver your new mattress is so nice. They wore shoe covers to not track in dirt, they took the old mattress out and set the new mattress up in about 8 minutes. That beats dragging a heavy box upstairs, cutting it open, and getting rid of the old mattress yourself... trust me.

My Wife and I recently purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress and frame. The salesman went on to assure us that no other store would be able to sell it for lower then sticker price as they were not permitted to do so. The salesman stated that if we were able to find it cheaper to get it in writing and Sleepy's would beat it by 20%. The next day we called Johnny Janosik (about 2 miles away) and Mattress Warehouse (about 1/4 mile away) and they both were willing to sell the same products for almost 10% cheaper. After getting the better price quoted in writing through an email I called the Sleepy's sales rep back, he stated that he misspoke about beating the price by 20%. He stated this offer didn't apply to Tempur-Pedic mattresses. We ultimately made our purchase through Mattress Warehouse for a little over 10% cheaper then Sleepy's, having the same free delivery, and 0% financing terms.
