Equipment is excellent, but service is unacceptable. My disabled husband's bed and shower is…read morelocated on our second floor, and he cannot not get upstairs without his chair lift. I believe this company does not have staff dedicated to maintenance. Service calls are assigned after installments are completed. Our service person could not make it to our house for our appointment because his installation was completed too late in the day. I was called at four o'clock and told he would not make it to our house on this day. I begged the representative to see if she could do something to get someone to our home that day, and she said she would try and she would call me back. When I called back at 4:30 the phones were cut off. I then left messages for everyone to call me back, which included the sales and the service department. I also left several messages for the principle in the company to call me, but I never received any calls from anyone. I had to call back the next morning, and after I left a very unhappy message, the representative called me back. I put another call in to the service manger, and finally I was able to speak to her. The conversation with her was both unpleasant and unsatisfactory. In addition, their maintenance agreement costs, are designed by the days you can expect service, 3-4 days being the more expensive, and the days following a bit less in cost. I clearly got the impression, that the fact most customers cannot get up the stairs without the use of the chair, was of no concern to this company. Unfortunately, Bedco is a monopoly, because no other vendor can or will repair their equipment.
