I wish I could give them 5 stars. I am not usually one to write negative reviews unless they are completely justified. Our salesperson was fine. His big selling point, and the reason we chose Bedco, was because he talked about how their company offered same day service and others may make you wait weeks. That was important for us so my mother was not stuck downstairs. Last night the unit was not functioning properly. After trying everything a previous tech suggested, still nothing. We turned it off and let it sit a while and it finally went up the rail to charge. This morning it came downstairs fine, my mother sat in it, and it would not go upstairs. My niece, again, tried all of the remedies suggested to us. Nothing worked. We called for service and they cannot come out until TUESDAY. Not acceptable. read more

UNRESPONSIVE. I don't usually write reviews, good or bad, but in this case, people need to know. Bedco did a great job installing a chair lift for our two boys. The problem came when small things started breaking and we were told the manufacturer is out of business. I know that puts them in a tough spot, but they have not made any effort to find parts or remedy the solution (could be a very inexpensive switch replacement). The knob necessary to exit the vehicle in an emergency event is missing. If there was and accident my wife and boys could be trapped. I am hoping for answers... read more

We purchased a new Stannah Chairlift in Aug 2020 for my elderly mother in law when she moved in. Unfortunately she passed away 4 months later. She only used the chairlift 2 times per week to get a shower upstairs. It is in like new condition. We were led to believe that Bedco would purchase the stairlift back from us. I contacted them twice in January and no one called me back to discuss a buyback. Finally after I emailed them again last week someone returned my call with a ridiculous lowball offer of $250 after we paid $3600! We expected it would be about 50% lower than what we paid, but $250 is basically giving it back to them for free for them to resell for $2700 (the price they quoted us for a used chairlift). We had been strongly encouraged by Bedco to buy a brand new stairlift instead of a used one. We are disgusted that this is how they do business! Do NOT purchase a new lift from them! read more

I rented a wheelchair accessible can to transport a wheelchair bound relative. This was my first time dealing with this company or driving a wheelchair van. They were friendly and helpful and showed me how to work the accessories. Sheila at the counter even gave me her cell phone number in case I has any issues or questions over the weekend. They were great and I will go to them again if the need arises. By the way, the location is hard to GPS, I hard to call them for directions. read more
