I have 50 termite bait stations at my Benton farm that have been in service for several years…read more Betts installed serviced them for over 4 years with no issues. Betts was recently bought out by Orkin. I scheduled an appointment that was for bait station servicing and inspection for termite activity as a precursor to selling my farm. There was confusion when the inspector arrived for the appointment. I was told that they could not inspect the stations as part of an inspection and they would have to be serviced by someone else. In the course of our conversation the Orkin area manager got on the phone, was rude, not understanding, and got mad. What I did not know was that he cancelled my contract without notice. when I called the number to schedule my service again I was told my account had been cancelled and I was unable to schedule the service. I cannot remember the area manager's name but will find out and post another review. This company's corporate mission statement are just empty words. The district manager is unprofessional, uncooperative, and made a bad situation much worse. I never had an issue with Betts, but this company is managed locally by a really spiteful ass!! Orkin is owned and headquartered in Atlanta, where I live full time. My intention is to schedule a meeting with the CEO to discuss this mismanaged misadventure. Hopefully they will show this clueless cowboy the door. Keep in mind that I had already paid for the service that cannot be scheduled. I would stay clear of Orkin.

Whenever we had even a slight sign of pests returning, they came back immediately to take care of them and without added expense. Our technicians were knowledgeable and professional. Then we moved out of state on short notice. They contacted us when they saw the house was empty and were prompt to cancel our service when I explained that we had moved. A month later, we received a check refunding the cost for the part of the year we didn't use. We had such a great experience with them from beginning to end that I had to write a review!

We had used this company in the past, so they were the first company we contacted when we needed…read morepest control again. Unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing. A family member initially contacted the owner and was told they were short-staffed and booked for the week, but that she would call the following week to schedule service. That callback never came. Due to unexpected family circumstances, I took over trying to schedule the appointment. I left a voicemail that was never returned. The following week, I called again and spoke directly with the owner. Once again, I was told they were short-staffed, booked for the week, and that she would call me the following week to get us scheduled. I waited the entire following week. No phone call. It has now been another week, and I still have never heard from her. I completely understand that small businesses can be busy and short-staffed. What I don't understand is repeatedly telling customers you'll call them back and then never following through. If you're unable to take on additional work, just be honest and say so. Customers can respect an honest answer far more than being left waiting week after week for callbacks that never happen. The biggest issue wasn't the scheduling it was the repeated lack of communication and follow through. After more than a month of trying to schedule service, we were repeatedly brushed off with promises of callbacks that never came. Their pricing may be competitive, but in our experience, the lack of communication simply wasn't worth the savings. We have decided to take our business elsewhere.

I asked him if he could find any entryways for pests to get in. He said no. He never did give me the free estimate I asked for. He showed me one small hole where pests, like mice, could get in. I had that filled by my handyman. Today I had a dead squirrel in my attic. I had to pay someone $200 to get it out and clean up. One area was sealed where the squirrel got in. Don't waste your hard earned money on this outfit. They are flat out no good.

Don Aaron, the owner, came out the day after I called, which was very quick compared to other exterminators I had used in the past. Don is probably one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and he genuinely cared about me and my house. He applied the treatment to the ants and he was very thorough making sure to get into all the nooks and crannies. He even went out in the back yard to see where they were coming in from and hunted down the ant trails. Like I said very thorough. I wanted to give it some time to make sure the ants would stay away before I posted anything. That was 2 weeks ago and still no ants. This is the first time I have ever posted anything on Yelp but I felt that Don did such a great job that I had to let people know. If you have a pest problem I highly recommend Pest Free.

He got rid of some birds and did some work around the house but laid no cages and did not seal up things. I really didn't think he did a very good job. He said he saw evidence of mice but he did nothing about it. He did not thoroughly inspect the house. The job was, to me, expensive. About two years later, I saw a mouse. I told him pretty much exactly what I wanted. He agreed in writing what he would do it for. I asked him twice (in writing) if that included various things that I wrote down. He replied that it did. He came to my home and put his dirty traps on my kitchen stove and cabinets. Very bad. He laid some mouse traps. Caught one mouse and I took it out. So far, I've had no more mice. He did leave his traps here. But, he did not finish doing what he agreed to do and I have paid him. He messaged me that it was raining and he couldn't make it. I did not know what the rain had to do with the work that was under my bathroom sink in the house.
