I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator from Pacific Kitchen and Home in Oakdale Minnesota a number of…read moreyears ago with a 5 year warranty. About two months ago a spring on the door broke which caused an issue with closing one of the doors. After spending about 1/2 hour on the phone reporting the issue with their warranty dept, they informed me that AZ Audio Service would call to set up and appointment within two business days. (Really, AZ Audio does refrigerator repairs?) Anyway, a call never came, so 5 days later I had to call AZ Audio about the refrigerator repair and they claimed they never got the order from Pacific Kitchen. I had to call Pacific Kitchen back and have them resend the order. I finally had a date for the repair, which was two weeks after my initial call. That date came and went with no repair person showing up. I called back and of course they had an excuse. When they finally did show up a week after that, they had the wrong part and said they would have to reschedule. After another week of waiting, I finally got a call back stating the part that was the issue is not covered by the warranty. After spending 1 1/2 hours on the phone with Pacific Home last night and 20 minutes today, they stated that was the only part not covered by the warranty and I would have to take care of the issue myself. So after about 2 months of trying to get my refrigerator door fixed, countless hours on the phone with Pacific Kitchen, and missing work for several service calls, I'm back at square one. This is the first review of a company I have written as I don't have the time. However, after my experience, I'm hoping that whoever reads this takes my advice as it will save a person a major headache! Bottom line.......................take this advice if you want to save a lot of time and money! Don't buy from Pacific Kitchen and Home. If you decide that you still want to buy from them, you may want to skip the warranty to save yourself a big headache. If you are a glutton for punishment, get the warranty and be prepared for the worst customer service you have ever seen with their authorized repair company AZ Audio and Video. Good luck! Your going to need it.
