Bed Bath & Beyond is a store that, as the name would lead you to guess, is a store with a focus on goods for your home. I have way too many kitchen gadgets, yet I still continue to buy more (I admit that I might have a bit of a problem, I wonder if there is such an organization called Kitchen Gadgets Anonymous) so Bed Bath & Beyond is pretty much a wonderful little slice of Heaven for me. The staff was friendly enough and it was a nice way to kill a bit of time while I was down here on business. All in all, this is a decent enough Bed Bath & Beyond. I usually end up in one of their locations when I need to buy someone a gift and I am a bit uncertain on what to get them. I bought a mattress from Bed, Bath & Beyond and, unfortunately, the product is crap. In addition to delivering the product a week late compared to the date informed at the time of purchase, I contacted them to inform that I was dissatisfied with the mattress and would like to exchange it for a more expensive, larger and better quality one. They simply replied that they could not do anything about it. I will make sure to chop the mattress up and throw it in the trash. And I will make a point of spreading the word in all possible environments so that future customers know exactly the type of after-sales and customer service quality that this company offers. If I could give this location zero stars I would. No inventory, no one to help. I have been trying to flag someone down; however they are short staffed. It is frustrating to come into a store and wait around for a long time. I feel bad for the staff as you can see that they are trying their best, but they are overwhelmed. I finally received some help from this poor girl who was clearly frazzled. The line to check out was very long (as expected) and people were generally not in a good mood because of the wait. (Typical Miami) I tried to lighten the mood a bit in the line by striking up a conversation with my line neighbors which seemed to help a bit. Probably will not go back if I can help it. They posted the rating, but not the review, so I will post it in full here: "Online purchase picked up at store. Never used. Product seemed to be missing a piece inside the water well. Returned to store who verified missing piece, but found they had none of this brand/model in stock. It was purchased on sale and no other sales running at this time. Was told would have to get a credit for this and purchase a different one at a higher, regular price. I requested an even swap out for a comparable model, but two store clerks and one store manager later, was refused. The extra money was more important to this multi-million dollar corporation than my time and inconvenience of getting an incomplete product and having to return it. I attempted to return items I bought online through the BBB website however when I brought the items in they claimed they could only refund part of my order. An order that they cancelled twice previously and didn't even know I was receiving. They said that an item had to be returned directly to the third party even though I bought it from their website. This policy should be in bold letters on the site or clearly displayed at check out. The manager was clueless at the store and didn't even attempt a guest recovery. This Bed, Bath and Beyond store isn't as large and doesn't carry the same variety of items as their store at Dadeland Station does. That being said, when looking for items to outfit my home with, one of this company's stores is normally always on my list of places to stop. While I really appreciate BB&B for the variety and amount of items they carry under one roof (and every nook and cranny of their stores are packed literally from floor to ceiling with displays and merchandise), the thing that kills this store for me is their pricing on many items, and I see from previous reviewers' comments that I'm not alone in that. While their pricing is reasonable on some items, for many of the things they sell here, it's not difficult to find the same or similar items at 'big box stores', and in many cases the internet at a much cheaper price, even if there's shipping involved. On the day I came to this store, they were advertising Yankee Candles at 25% off. However, even with that discount I still found the same candles at 1/2 the price next door at Marshalls. I think the first time I ever heard of Bed Bath & Beyond was around eight years ago and that was because it was a suggested store on my dorm essentials list. Needless to say, I can at least say that the store caters to college students. Bedspreads, kitchenware, even a bathrobe - if you have a college student, you will bank here. Since then, I've also been made aware that they send out fliers with coupons. Bring one of these and get a good sale. Otherwise, good luck finding something cheap. I find prices to be expensive compared to say something you find in Target or Walmart. I especially see this when it comes to kitchen appliances. With that being said, they have a lot of variety and I have found many a bedspread here that I have just loved. This particular Bed Bath & Beyond isn't the biggest, but it isn't the smallest either. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for college essentials, have a coupon, or if you simply wish to purchase a unique piece. Please be aware that this particular store shares a garage with many other stores such as Marshall and Nordstrom Rack, so be prepared. Parking can be a bit of a hassle. read more

This place has almost everything you need . It has cute bedding , nice plates , fun games , cute curtains . It has everything you need for your house . The parking isn't that bad , I really don't like it because it kinda scares me but well it's free and it's in a garage so if it Rains you won't get wet, that's always a good thing. Everyone that works here are always friendly and helpful . Like others have said, this is a smaller store than most Bed Baths. I prefer the Dadeland or Aventura stores, which have many more products and don't feel as claustrophobic. My experience here was not pleasant, as during noon on a weekday they had zero cash registers opened. Not a single one. They only opened the return counter for all purchases, which of course had a long, slow line handling returns and people purchasing. It was into the middle of the section several feet away. I was about 10 people back and gave up and left. I ended up just ordering on Amazon Prime with its free 2 day delivery. read more

Thank goodness there's a BBB near the downtown Coral Gables area!!!!!! This BBB just opened within the last month, one of the few staple stores that will help revive the old Miracle Center/Paseos Mall... etc This BBB is not as big as the one in Dadeland Station. They fore go the Health and Beauty Care section due to limited spacing but the essentials are still there. This is a great addition to the CG area. read more

This Bed Bath & Beyond is pretty similar to all others. Its inventory has just about everything you could need for your home as far as simple accessories are concerned, and it also has so many of those things you see on TV during infomercials. I always want to buy everything that's around the registers - I am definitely their ideal customer. I am writing the review today in particular, because although I didn't buy anything, I did walk all around the store with my mom, and if I were to say that six different employees smiled and said hello to us, I may have underestimated. Although this BB&B location didn't have everything in stock that I would have liked to look at (the only reason they lost one star), they rate high points from me due to their extremely helpful and friendly staff! I was pleasantly greeted and offered help by no less than five employees from the time that I walked in the door to the time that I made it to the bathroom section. I'm the type of shopper who prefers to look around on my own and then ask for specific help if I think of it, but it was still refreshing (especially in Miami!) to receive such great customer service. Toward the end of my visit, one of the employees noticed me struggling to carry all of my purchases (naturally I didn't get a shopping cart since I was only going in for "a few things"); he didn't wait to OFFER me a shopping cart, he went and found one and CHASED ME DOWN to give it to me because he didn't want me struggling to carry all of that stuff. Really, that's a perfect illustration of how good customer service is good for business: I was in a good mood from the nice gesture, and then having hands free was able to peruse a bit more and choose a couple of more purchases! I would have liked to see a better selection of shoe racks and shower racks, like they have online, but I was able to find adequate substitutes. Not ideal, but adequate for my purposes. The choices available for household goods in South Florida, and probably everywhere else in the country aren't many. Target has become a serious contender in the market making Bed Bath and Beyond seem stale a times. The fundamental question comes into play, how many spoons do you really need? The one with the thingy and the one with the loopy thingy and the silver one and the gold one.... Bed Bath and Beyond , and other similar stores, suffer from a generic inventory. It's not as if they can do anything about it either. Hence, they can't be blamed for it. This store, just like all it's clones, has pretty much everything you can think of when it comes to household goods. Once in a while, I will find something they don't carry. The staff is always friendly and helpful; if they weren't, it would be VERY difficult to find things. It's pretty much a Home Depot of household goods. Pro Tip: Check your mail for coupons! The place is a little crowded w merchandise. You definitely get the feeling that they didn't buy enough space initially for the store so they just crammed everything in. The reason for the 5 stars is because EVERY single member of the staff was extremely friendly! Your standard, generic Bed Bath & Beyond store. On the positive side, as with any BB&B, you can usually find at least one version in stock of whatever doodad you may be seeking for your kitchen, bathroom, or bedroom, whether it be a gadget that removes the pits from cherries or a plush mattress cover. But, on the negative side, as with any BB&B, you will pay a lot more for that doodad than if you were to get the very same or a similar item from Target, Wal-Mart, or an internet retailer. I agree with the reviewer who noticed that the staff here seem to be pretty friendly. At least they were when I visited a few months ago. Not sure how much that is a reflection of the fact that this store is still fairly new. But I was annoyed by the fact that one of the register clerks asked me to provide a picture ID in order to accept my credit card for purchase on one visit. This seemed rather random, as I had not been asked to provide a picture ID when using the same credit card for larger purchases at the same store on two prior occasions. Also, it seemed during my visits that a number of the boxes on display containing some of their larger merchandise items (eg small desks, vacuum cleaners) were banged up or scuffed or seemed to show evidence of the items having been returned -- a larger percentage of the boxes than you might ordinarily expect to find in one store. I noticed this because when I make a purchase, I worry that if the outside of the box doesn't look like an item has come straight from the factory, there may be a problem with what's inside. I haven't been back recently, so not sure whether this situation has changed. read more

oh miracle center how i miss you. i loved having a mini-mall complete with chain restaurants and a movie theater in such a convenient location. i was super stoked when i found out you were making a comeback. but have yet to be impressed. bed bath and beyond is one of my favorite stores. they have so many awesome things (including all the "as seen on tv" items which im a huge sucker for). and hello 20% coupons. i actually get excited when i get them in the mail. btw they have expiration dates, but the stores always accept them anyways and you can use as many as you want even in just one visit. i was expecting a super store, but in actuality dadeland station is way better. this location doesnt have the toiletries section - one of my favorite parts bc im addicted to stocking up on shampoo, face wash, tampons, body wash, listerine, etc. kinda weird i know. (which btw you can use the before mentioned coupons on expensive hair care products and sunscreens) anyways yes the employees are super nice and helpful, the store is always perfectly organized. and their return policy is amazing! parking lot is crazy weird. getting in and out is quite interesting. read more

I have been to this "BBB" many times and this store has always been clean and organized. The parking garage is free but the spaces are not that big. Drivers need to focus when it's time to park! Back to the store, The staff is always, always friendly and helpful. The customer service in particular stands out alone! For example, the other evening, I made a trip there pretty late and had the misfortune of leaving my iPhone behind. I did not realize that I left it until after 2 additional stops before getting home. Well, as soon as I realized it, I called right away and spoke to Danny, the guy that needs to be thanked and commended for being so helpful and honest. He went above and "beyond" to reassure me they had it. When I got there (after hours) I did not see him to thank him personally. It was brought to my attention that a little boy needs to be thanked and commended for doing the right thing by and turning it in! Sigh of relief, they are still good people out there raising good kids! Danny I can't thank you enough and the staff he worked with that evening for really going the extra mile by putting my mind at ease that is is also a store that has honest people representing them. There is someone always there is help me right when I walk in. Even if I have not been able to find what I need the staff has taken the time to look online for me and find me what I need for the best price possible. My all time favorite store! Words can't describe my love for this store. My shopping experiences are always fun, enjoyable, pleasant and most of all relaxing. The representatives in these stores are always helpful, pleasant and have smiles on their faces....this says a lot about the stores atmosphere and management possibly . I can safely say I have never had an unpleasant experience in a bed bath and beyond store. The saying goes something along the lines....if you treat your employees well they will treat you business twice as well! The store carries all sorts of cool products and many of the as seen on tv products as well. I always find myself buying something in this store even when I don't need it or had no intentions of buying anything. Oh and best of all are those coupons. I always have an excuse to shop because it's somehow justified by the coupons and the products the stores carry are lasting and of great value.
