He tested batteries, found screw drivers and even replaced everything in an attempt to help. (Turns out the opener was dead). Part worked exactly as a replacement for broken item. Miles is a bit further for me than another small box HW store I frequent, but Miles having an online search feature immediately tells me if they have what I need before driving out, which sways me over to them when looking for a unique item.

The manager is super professional with excellent follow-up. This store is organized and clean - I have never seen things strewn about like I have at some other metro Atlanta locations. This is my go-to store for just about any household item. I have found so many great things here over the years: unique lamps, accent tables, wall art, cushions, and other decor; good deals on limited edition perfumes, great-smelling imported soaps and beauty items; great deals on sexy dresses, professional suits, shoes and handbags; an array of electronic and phone accessories, automotive and pet supplies, toys, journals, dishware, glasses, kitchen gadgets, linens, bathroom accessories; and a plethora of some of the best organizing containers I've seen/acquired. Their prices often beat Amazon and even eBay. Also, they are open late. When I need something after the mall has closed, after Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and even Target have closed, Ross is still open. I went into purchase some paint to touch up the walls in my home. The lady that helped me was so uneducated with products and ultimately gave me the wrong paint. I went home and tried it to find out that it wasn't what she had promised it was. I took the paint back - thankful they have a return policy. The manager gave me the "correct" paint which happened to still be wrong. I found this out by talking to an older gentleman who was shopping who warned me to check my paint numbers because he had always received the incorrect paint from "this place". Well he was right. The paint type was wrong. I ultimately received a refund and went over to Lowe's who was able to successfully able to assist me with my needs. Needless to say, I had to sand down areas from the first wrong paint that was given to me and thankfully there was someone else there to warn me or it would have happened a second time.

I had my arms full with items (because their "carts" are just a small basket on wheels) and an associate squeezed past me 3 times without saying a word. A manager worked overtime to avoid eye contact, and when I finally made it to the register, the cashier was having a personal conversation with a friend and only when I spoke loudly to get her attention did she turn around. I'm happy with the items I purchased, and I got a good deal I think for everything I got, but I definitely won't return simply because of how terrible the staff is from top to bottom.
