It's basically only the items not on sale. So naturally they place the big ticket items on sale with discounted prices so they don't qualify as comparable value price. Only smaller items like lamps and end tables were involved. If you want to read the small print look at the lower left corner and get some reading glasses. I couldn't read them without mine! As you can see below they posted a canned reply. It was the manager who told me to contact corporate. Classic case of passing the buck.

Took 5 weeks to finally deliver my furniture (promised to be 3-4 weeks). I was told my furniture was in their warehouse for quite a while but no one bothered to call me until I went to check. The lady said Ashley only calls you once and often leaves no messages at all. I paid full price for delivery. If your phone happens to have no signal or you are at work, it's your own fault. My sofa was very dirty so I guess I will never buy a cotton/cloth product from them. I didn't ask for change because I don't want to wait for another 5 weeks and if the delivery men caused the issue because my sofa had no cover, I couldn't blame them. I blame the delivery system! All sofas should be the same. All I mean is that although store and delivery people are really nice to you, if Ashley system treats you shitty, the nice words and smiles are wasted.

Grand made it VERY easy for us to not only show proof they were still in "like new" condition but return to the store. ACME's customer service is so abysmal, it is shocking they are still in business. I purchased a…read morestove from them and immediately began having issues with it. When I went in the store, I was told it was only because I was burning unseasoned wood. I described that I had been burning wood for over 20 years and explained how I cut, split, stacked, and measured the moisture content of the wood I burned. Their response? "Well do you measure the moisture content of every piece of wood you burn". Obviously that is an insane and unserious question. I had two different chimney sweeps come out over the course of two seasons and they remarked the chimney was perfect, no evidence of burning unseasoned wood. I provided this documentation to ACME and was then told that it was an issue with Jotul, and I would have to work with them to get resolution if there was in fact a problem. Jotul offered no help and I asked ACME to advocate on my behalf--since they were a retail representative of that company. ACME's response was that if I was dissatisfied with the stove, then I should purchase a new one from a different manufacturer. To summarize, they are quite friendly and helpful if you are trying to purchase a stove, but that veneer quickly disappears the instant there is any problem. They do not stand by their products and are dismissive and condescending when you seek help. Please avoid this place for your sanity's sake. If Harvard Business School wanted a case study on how to lose customers and kill a business, few would make a better case than ACME.
