I was in the area one day waiting for my husband, so I decided to visit for the first time and I…read morewas really impressed. This is a cute place with lots of interesting goods: seeds and planters for the garden, dishware and picnic sets, homemade blankets and kitchen towels, mints, chapstick, storage ideas, and cute knickknacks. I purchased these reusable beeswax wraps that I've seen online but never in stores, plus a handful of other small things. The kind of things they sell here are things I like to buy, so I was happy. I feel like a lot of the merchandise would make good gifts for Easter or Mother's day too. My favorite part of the store was the antique cash register. It adds a fun touch and you can tell lots of thought went into every part of the store.

They have been extremely helpful when I have had to manufacture some parts for old equipment. 5 Stars Westlakes gets 5 stars for being best in category IMO.

I absolutely love this Ace Hardware! I come here for all my garden needs and other house project…read moreitems. The customer service here is the best and even though it's part of a chain, it has that local feel because of the workers! I recently had an item that I didn't have the receipt anymore for and they were able to look it up and print out a new one so I could make the return, and they did so with such a happy demeanor. Definitely recommend this location. It's easy to navigate and find what you need!

Had to spend $700+ on hotel rooms for my $300 bed frame to come with the wrong hardware and not be…read moreable to get to me for a whole week. If I wasn't in a wheelchair and had a bad back sleeping on the floor would have been fine but because of medical issues I need to sleep on a bed at night. Went to the store and best they could do is give me a metal frame... I do not have a box spring so putting my mattress right in there would void the warranty on it. Which they knew when they gave it to me. Also I cannot move my mattress on my own(again in a wheelchair and they knew that in the store) so I cannot even take it out of the box until the frame we ordered through the store is here and put together. It got here today (being a week late to begin with with no other sleeping options) and correct hardware but there needs to be a box spring. We asked the salesperson and the manager helping out SEVERAL TIMES if I needed a box spring and they said no. Again with the lies and deception with this store. I again now have unusable furniture because of this store. If you are getting new stuff for your kid for their first apartment make sure you have an air mattress or at least $3,000 to spend on hotel rooms for when they mess up your order. The delivery people are saying that every other delivery they are doing is coming with the wrong hardware so this is a company wide issue not just this location. Ashley sucks and will never be buying from this store or any other location ever again. Being generous with 2 stars because I did receive my dining room table with minimal issues and technically arrived 2 days early with only a 20 minute warning that delivery people were showing up with it.

Re: Dog lotion. Huh?…read more Another topic, the massage oil. Firstly, the service at the Columbia, Missouri store is great; five stars. I've never had to wait long to get assistance, friendly and helpful always. However, the massage oil itself has changed considerably toward the worse. What is different since the reformulation 1-2 years ago is that the oil is far thinner, with far less viscosity. Whether or not this is the case, it feels like a move designed not with the consumers in mind, but rather the shareholders of LB, the parent company. It just doesn't seem oily enough, as it did in days past, and doesn't "rub" well. The other problem I have is the ridiculously strong fragrancing. It seems everything now needs to be super-this or ultra-that. The fragrance is WAY too strong now, and even after washing my hands three times after giving my marathon runner gal a massage, they are still strongly perfumed. Please, consider going back to the older formulation, and I'll keep buying.
