The staff was super friendly and really knowledgeable about all the different kupcakes. They helped me pick out the Purple Rain and gave great descriptions of the flavors without making it feel overwhelming. I ended up getting some work done while I was there, and the window seat became my favorite part of the visit. Plenty of natural light, a calm atmosphere, and perfect for a little people-watching while you type away.

Megan, the owner of Cupcake LaRue, experimented with several recipes but when she finally gave us a taste test, my wife and I were blown away. We received so many compliments from both sides of our families. The food and photography were our biggest concerns for our wedding and Cupcake LaRue really delivered. Unfortunately the wedding cake and cupcakes were so delicious that we didn't have any left over for our one year anniversary. My wife was really upset about this so a few months ago I contacted Megan and asked her for two dozen cupcakes with the same flavors from our wedding. Today, I gave them to my wife as one of her Christmas presents and she was delighted.
