Unfortunately it's not actually $5 and below anymore, there are some higher priced items. But it's still reasonable. The store is very clean, organized, and well lit. It's been a looooooong time since I've been to a Five and Below…read more This location is very nice, as is almost everything on this part of town. The place was stocked to the brim with tons and tons of things. We easily found some goodies for my toddler inside, as well as some clothing, gifts, toys, and other ideas for parties and events for her. We bought some pool noodles for $1 each, a coloring book, stickers, and a stuffed animal for her that she found inside one of the bins and wanted. Prices are extremely fair but, the stuffy was $7. How is anything $7 at Five and Below?!

I finally made it in for the semi annual sale... Yasss!! When we walked in we were greeted right…read moreaway. The store had several different items on sale. 75% off, $4.99 items, bogo, and etc. It smelled so good, like organized chaos!! The young lady helping us was so sweet. She was honest and made our shopping experience fun. If I picked up anything that didn't smell good we'd lock eyes and her soul would whisper, put it back!! She's officially the lotion whisperer in my eyes!! I set a boundary for myself on what was my limit and I'm proud that I stuck to it!! Today, but who knows about tomorrow!!! Ugghh. My nose always checks out early and I don't know what I'm even smelling anymore... I have to take it home to sample it again. So I kept it simple. I found moisturizing hand sanitizer which I loveeee!! The lemon pound cake smells like legit dessert!! I could never go back to the regular kind. I saw a pretty shade of lip gloss, so I had to get it. Well, that wasn't just lip gloss, it was lip plumper... Ahhh. My lips swole up into two juicy strawberries or something. They were already big, but this blew them up a smidget more .. The color was everything, that was the trap. Now for the downside! My lips started to feel like I ate a bag of jalapenos, like I took a dive into hot sauce, like fire ants ate my face for lunch... Lol. I felt like I did the one chip challenge. At one point I think I was crying... Lol. No lie, my lips tingled for 12 hours straight. They were working 9-5 just to make a living like Dolly says (my lips)... I say this to say, if you are sensitive, all forking jokes aside DO NOT use the lips plumper.. It's pretty intense. So read the packaging. At one point my lips burned, my eyes, and throat!! I began to feel as if I were an appetizer or a light snack because I was being eating alive by lip gloss.. Anyways, don't say I didn't warn you. So now that my vent session is over. I enjoyed the store and the staff. Semi annual sale time is muhhh jam... The bali mango makes you smell like a basket of fruit, like it's good but so good I got turned off a little at first. I don't know how. But if your looking for a strong scent this is it. I do appreciate that it toned down a little after the initial application. It's that after shower smell you want to put on so your honey will be like, bae, is that you?! Lol. Mmmm hmmm. Velvet sugar was there to, omg hello old friend!!! Ahh, get in muhhh basket. So after shopping i was exhausted from all the fun I had... Girls just wanna have fun .. Blah blah blah!! I need a nap like a toddler after a day of running errands with mom!! Anyways check them out!! Go!!

When we lived in Short Pump (Richmond) for a year, and stepped into their Homegoods store for the first time, I was in heaven!!! Every possible home decor item was there, for such an amazing price. When my mom would visit, it was always on the "list of places we have to visit while in town for the weekend." And she always filled the trunk up with purchases. We always, said, "OMG, we need a stand alone Homegoods store in Va Beach, not one of these combined ones." (Va Beach Blvd. Nothing wrong with it, but this is just way better.) Fast forward to 2015...wishes do come true!!! Can you imagine my surprise and excitement when going to Target one day (Red Mill) and looking to the side and seeing a sign - "Homegoods coming soon." O M G! It pretty much made my day. Heck, even my year. This place is so bright, big, clean, and full of beautiful items to decorate your home, dorm room, apartment, or office with. This place carries furniture, carpet, wall decor, kitchen items, gift items, stationery goods (my favorite), & so much more! I'm just in love with this place. Not too many people even know this is here yet, but I'm definitely spreading the word! Come here & get all the pretty things you want for a way better price than what you'd pay at the big department stores!

I like this location…read more.. While this isn't my go to location, this is one of my favorite locations. This store seems to carry items that most Dollar Tree's do not. Perhaps the selection is better, larger store, I am not sure, but I love it here! Great finds every single time! A bag of now & later candy (5 packs) only $1 and you get like 20 in a bag, talk about a steal! Granted, it's been a few months and I haven't seen the bag in here lately. The only downside, if it's a major holiday such as, Valentines Day, the balloons may run out, but rest assure this store pretty much keeps items in stock and the store is very tidy. The lines move smoothly on any given day. The parking doesn't tend to be an issue, but be careful crossing the street to get to the store, it's a very busy parking lot. Alongside this store, you will find, Roses, eateries nearby include: KFC, McDonald's and cannot forget about 7-eleven. If you are in the area, give this store a second look. You just may find something you don't see in your favorite dollar store where you live. Have fun and enjoy life :)

With a couple of Barnes & Noble gift cards in my wallet, I couldn't wait to pay a visit to the Greenbrier store after work. I really enjoy the peace I find while perusing the amazing book selection and variety of fun gifts at this bookstore. It's quiet, clean, and well organized. It's a happy place. After 2 leisurely hours, I found a new author, and I'm anxious to start her first book. Another reason I was anxious for 'my time' to shop for a new book at B&N is their 'Hot Coffee, Hot Book, Cafe Special Offer' deal! With the purchase of any cafe item, you can purchase a featured book for $5. This offer has limited quantities, and the book cover is so pretty and pink! It's titled 'The Vanishing Cherry Blossom Bookshop' by Takuya Asakura. The friendly cafe server said that the $5 cafe book offer for this book title ends soon, but another book will be coming. She believed their location has the offer every 2 months, but other locations might be every month. No worry, I'm hooked and I'll keep an eye out! So, I see another great cafe deal on select bakery items, BOGO 50% off. I chose a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Cookie and an Oatmeal Raisin Cookie to go. After my new book purchase and cafe purchases, my first text to my adult children was a reminder that Mother's Day is coming up and that I'd love gift cards to Barnes & Noble! I received a reply with a thumbs up!

Best deal ever!!! For $1 or 50 cents for a birthday, baby shower, wedding , baptismal, graduation any occasion you can imagine .. you get pretty darn good quality cards! You know the ones people most likely throw away that you can spend up to $5 plus on? Even better Hallmark created a greetings cards line specifically for dollar tree Called "heartline." So if you ever see "heartline" or "tender thoughts" on the back of your card ( shhh.. they got it from the dollar tree ;-) ) Just think, you save more and they won't ever know how much you spent. Do me a favor and just think of me every time you hear the cha-Ching from all the savings you've earned. The icing on the cake? Don't spend more than a $1 on gift bags anymore or tissue paper or gift wrap because they have quality styles there too. Want Mylar balloons? They have them too! Yes, now and then they have the bobo quality bags or items but this is not a true representation of what this store can offer. I also buy my shower curtain liners from here and chuck them once they need to be changed. They even have toilet brushes with the stands. I specifically was looking at espresso makers and boy do they have a lot of models, most higher end that I was looking to purchase. The Breville is one of the stores main brands. However, they do offer Delonghi, Phillips and others. While browsing for 15 minutes or so there were staff around stocking and doing administrative task. I was never approached for help and asked. Once I engaged the staff I revived adequate assistance. Ultimately we looked at models to ship and dates. They were offering free shipping anywhere in the country. Unfortunately the ship date was almost a month out. I ejected to purchase elsewhere. I did decide to purchase their famous dish towels. They are the very best, not cheap, but quality. While checking out I snacked on peppermint bark samples, so yum! I'm sure I will be back, but I regret the downgrade with slow service. 3.5 rounding down.
