These people messed up my teeth twice and the actual orthodontist doesn't spend any time with the patient. I got like 30 seconds last time I went and then the assistant messed up and the doctor just said there's nothing else they can do without even coming to see what happened and then they expect you to pay for poor service anyway. I went too the mesquite office,for Invisalign,long story short,I paid these people in full - big mistake- once they had my $$ I became A second class person. most of the staff was rude,and B&B were NOT much better.the trays were A pain but I dealt with them,and got through the entire program.two + years later they gave me one retainer,for the rest of my life-it lasted three months- And out the door I went.No call back from anyone,again they already had my $$. I can not recommend B&B.And I believe,Invisalign is not for everybody,I wish I would have gone with braces,and oyeah my teeth are still crooked. read more

Normally I wouldn't have made a big deal about this but since Dr. Burke went out of his way to message me then get defensive when I gave him the facts I feel it's appropriate to share this. The photos explain my situation I had with Burke Orthodontics in St. George, Utah. He's a joke. He must be insecure in order to seek out those that have been negatively impacted by his lack of work ethic and professionalism. A low rating because of a prevalent culture of deception, lies, and surprising unprofessionalism, too many to list. The finance manager had to reschedule an office visit, for he had left a message that he cancelled my follow-up visit pertaining to cost of treatment and photos. Then the Dr. cancelled that one with a message that he "put together a price". He did no such thing, I was simply sent the VERY SAME price sheet, an EXACT COPY of the previous price sheet I kept. And WITHOUT the deduction I was promised; an automatic procedure with reputable orthodontists when the patient has already paid for the Invisalign lab fee! If not deducted, the Dr. himself pockets the large fee that has ALREADY been paid, a lot of money. Yet, I was falsely told that the deduction WAS factored in that "new" price. Unbelievable. Nor did they honor their price match policy as agreed. Bait and switch. read more

My payment wasn't set up correctly, when I sent my child in they were denied service. The office never called to have this error fixed! My insurance wasn't billed correct had to fight with the office manager to have it fixed. So many billing issues, lots of missed or denied appointments that were out of my hands. Embarrassed kids. We were visiting Zion National Park a couple of weeks ago when the wire on my daughter's braces came out. We contacted our orthodontist in San Diego to ask what we should do since we were out of town for a couple of weeks. He advised us to contact Burke and Beckstrom. They were able to see us first thing the next morning (they could have seen us that afternoon, but we were only at Zion for one day and didn't want to miss anything). Not only were all employees polite and professional, they didn't even charge us for the quick repair. Thank you! read more

We think it is so awesome that they come all the way out to Ely, NV for the kids there to orthodontic care as well and not have to travel a long distance to get it. My daughter has been getting care from him for over a year now and she actually looks forward to her appointments. I should of wrote this review months ago, because I don't want what happened to me, to happen to anyone else. I experienced the worst customer service of my life from Jezel, the office manager. She was like dealing with the "Soup Nazi" from Seinfeld, only she not only kicked you out, but charged you for it. She was vindictive and enjoyed being mean. I was originally told by Mahgen at Dr. Burke office, that he was the number one Invisalign Buyer in the area, so he gave the best rate. However, after talking to a few friends it seemed like I was overcharged, since my teeth were relatively straight. I called Mahgen who assured me that they wanted me to be happy and transferred me to her office manager Jezel. Jezel was combative from the start, which I will admit made me get combative back and I was not at my best. I asked her why I was charged the price I was charged and she said multiple times she did not know why Dr. Burke charged the prices he charged (shouldn't an office manager know!?!) She accused me of only being out for money, which anyone who knows me, knows I'm not that type of person. She told me they didn't need my kind of attitude in their office. I told her I had a right to ask these questions and asked if I could speak to Dr. Burke or she could ask him and call me back to explain why I was charged what I was charged. She called back and said that was just the amount and repeated she did not know why he charged what he charged. She then preceded to tell me to go somewhere else, which I told her I was surprised she would say that to a customer and she very smugly replied that she just wanted me to be happy. She said they would charge me $500 for Dr. Burke's time in creating my plan. There was no thought or consideration for all my time. I had been in treatment a few months. I could tell she was getting great pleasure at being rude. I said I would get consultations at other Ortho's and we could go from there. I had cooled down by this time and told her I wanted to be fair and would see what the other Ortho's said. She told me she was putting notes in and there was no need to speak to her again and I could speak to Hannah. I thought that was really poor management to pawn me off on one of her staff. I did get another consult. I eventually found out Dr. Burke pays what everyone else pays to Invisalign, a $1800 lab fee. The other Ortho also told me it only takes minutes to create a plan. He also explained there were different Invisalign plans. It looks like Dr. Burke charges one price. Based on the minor changes and the fact I only had 37 trays, I could of got Invisalign lite from the other Ortho, in about the same amount of time for $1000 less. It took weeks to get my money back. I was informed that Jezel said I couldn't come back, even if I wanted to. A friend of mine said if they were cancelling the contract, I should get a full refund. I was nervous about mentioning this, since I was sure Jezel had made it look like I was just out for money. However, I got brave and told Hannah, who said she would have Dr. Burke call me. He didn't and Hannah called back and said they wouldn't refund the $500. The other Ortho requested they take off my brackets. When I went in Dr. Burke greeted me in the nicest manner I'd every seen from him and got right to work. I wanted to talk to him after, since I was pretty sure Jezel had misrepresented me to him, but he ran out of there after without even saying good-bye. My biggest issue was with Jezel, but I will say at my previous appointments, Dr. Burke came off cold. I had read a review from a mother mentioning the same thing towards her child, but Dr. Burke had called her & blamed it on a bad day (wondering where that review went?) I would suggest avoiding this office. Most Ortho's offer free consults, so get more than one. Invisalign sends a video of what your teeth will look like when finished (I was not told this). Request seeing this, before agreeing to treatment, so you know exactly what you are paying for! read more
