I was referred by my wife who was treated by Justin for frozen shoulder. I have spinal stenosis treatment with Justin. Surgery was recommended, but as an alternative, I was advised to try an epidural and PT. It's working. I'm able to walk a little better. Ever since Justin became the owner, the office has run like a Swiss clock. When I enter the room, I immediately receive a warm blanket. I spend 30 minutes with Justin for deep tissue massage and range of motion then 30 minutes with his assistant Caroline for stretching and a variety of exercises. The appointment staff answers on the first ring. Justin holds a doctorate in PT. He is a master as well as a gentleman. Caroline is also AAA. Beyond all that, the facility is immaculate. Bechtel Physical Therapy should be at the top of your list if you need any type of pt. Not only is the care excellent, but the staff is kind, knowledgable and consistent. I've been there for work on an injured leg, an elbow and my shoulder and in every single case, Melissa and William did extraordinary work to get me up and completely heeled in very few sessions. They are particularly well-educated and skilled and approach their work with detail and complete attention. I've had PT at other places where the work was not consistent, nor were the practitioners. In Bechtel's case, once you reassigned to a therapist team, they stay with you, allowing for excellent follow up. Bechtel Physical Therapy provides 5-star care in a calm, nurturing space. After my recent total knee replacement, I sought out a therapy office that came highly recommended by several friends. I was very lucky to be assigned to physical therapist Melissa and her excellent assistant William who carefully coordinate my care as a team. Upon arrival a warm compress is placed in my back. Melissa has worked effectively in reducing scar tissue around my incision point carefully massaging the area. Melissa assigns excellent follow-up knee and leg exercises always adjusting them based on my feedback on how I felt at the last PT visit. William is a delight and very helpful in modeling how the exercises are to be done carefully watching me to ensure they are done appropriately. Exercises are always followed by a very pleasant icing of the knee area bringing additional comfort. I feel very fortunate to have the excellent care of Melissa and William at Bechtel. I've been seeing Jeff, PT at Bechtel for about 1-year; when I first came to him, I had injured my neck & shoulder area and was in terrible pain. After the first visit, I was already feeling relief. I recently took P/T with Bryn for 3 months, which I needed to do before my surgery. The interior was a warm and happy place. P/T's and entire work force were helpful and very nice. I was recommended this business. I have been going to get therapy for an injured foot. The therapist are the best. Very knowledgeable and pleasant ,however there is a woman there that is rude ,disrespectful And aggressive. Very aggressive. I had to put up with her lack of respect and rudeness on three separate occasions my blood pressure rose dangerously high and had to be help by Jason's assistant. I had chest pains for three days. I decided not to go back. She has some serious issues and can get very ugly if she does the same to someone like her. I was surprised no one intervine while she was yelling at me. As a former paramedic I am well aware that the quality of care at many physical therapy offices can vary drastically. I am happy to report that Bechtel Physical Therapy, especially Dr. Echeverry, is absolutely the most professional, caring, and outstanding collection of PTs and staff members that I have been a patient of (this includes 30 years of broken bones and soft tissue injuries). Dr. Bryn Aiken-Young at Bechtel Physical Therapy is truly amazing! I saw her for significant pain in my lower back caused by bulging discs that had plagued me for a few years. After seeing her for a little over a year - before and after back surgery - my back has healed and I have hardly any pain. I have more mobility and can do much more than I expected. Bryn is a thorough diagnostician. She listens well, so her treatments were really effective for what I was experiencing. Bryn was a joy to work with--she is skilled, smart, compassionate, and has extensive knowledge about the body and how to treat it. She not only treated me, she educated me! She communicates clearly, and gave me exercises to do at home, which really accelerated my healing. I felt that she really cared about my well-being and recovery. Her assistant, Mathew was also very helpful, kind and efficient. The studio is spacious, comfortable, and clean--with private treatment rooms and lots of gym equipment. The front desk and billing staff are very friendly and responsive to questions and concerns. They make reminder calls the day before every appointment. It's hard to put into words how appreciative I am to have worked with Bryn and to have received such extraordinary service. I had been living with neck and shoulder pain for the last year and half since before the pandemic began. This past Spring I began physical therapy withBryn Aitken -Young, DPT at Bechtel Physical Therapy. I have received physical therapy for other issues from other practices in the past. My experience and treatment with Bryn really showed me how a great physical therapist works with their client towards a good outcome. From the beginning when I called to schedule an appointment, it was clear that my needs and preferences were important to the office staff. This was also right at the time more people were coming out of lock-down, making doctors appointments, physical therapy appointments. Bechtel had professional safety protocol they followed to keep the clients and themselves safe. Because I have allergies and asthma the office offered to have me come in and do a walk-through before I ever had my first appointment. I felt safe and comfortable. Bryn is friendly, very knowledgeable, professional, focused, calm, and very present and attentive to how I received the treatments and how I did afterwards at home. My progress was dependent on her knowledge of different modalities and her ability to switch gears if necessary. I had a few things complicating my treatment. This did not appear to throw Bryn at all. In fact, I benefitted greatly by her comprehensive knowledge of many facets of health and wellbeing. My previous physical therapy experiences felt like being trained as an athlete to perform at a certain level, the harder you work/push, the better you will be. This was not what I needed in this moment and I immediately found out this was not the guiding principle at Bechtel PT. I was given treatment to assist my body in healing and then added strengthening and lifestyle adjustments so I could learn the way to prevent these issues from reoccurring. Bryn consulted with a colleague, a pain specialist about my case. I've never had any professional as motivated as she is to help get to the root of a problem. Because of her diligence and caring I discovered what was causing my pain and found out there were options available beyond surgical ones if I could not gain ground in relieving my pain. As it was, I did gain ground. My pain is not a constant. I now know how to help myself better with the kind of exercises that are beneficial to me. Wonderful, caring professionals like Caroline usually checked me in for my appointments. Andrew was my physical therapy assistant who guided me in my exercises. Under his watchful and kind eye I knew I could replicate them. Melanie was excellent assisting me with the ins and outs of Medicare coverage for my appointments. I truly felt I had a partner in wanting the best outcome for me. Bryn went miles above and beyond to help me. Over the past several years, I have been a patient at Bechtel on three separate occasions for three different conditions, two of which were acute. Justin is my therapist and he's supercalifragilistic. He is warm and easy to talk to, very knowledgeable, and explains everything in easy to understand language. His assistants have always been kind, gentle, and great to work with. I have never felt rushed and feel that we accomplish everything that needs attending to during each session. I have complete confidence in Justin and trust him implicitly. I have never encountered any difficulties with the front desk staff. As a courtesy to the patients, they submit requests to the patients' medical doctors every thirty days to renew the authorization for treatment. The entire office is run very professionally. I was referred to Bechtel Therapy by my podiatrist, to treat tendonitis in my right heel. It was painful walking or even sitting with my legs elevated. This condition was complicated by a venous insufficiency. I have completed the 18 sessions covered by my insurance and am virtually pain-free. The care and attention I received from Justin and Carter were extraordinary. They truly cared that I recover and were supportive of my efforts to follow the program they outlined. I cannot praise them too highly or thank them enough. My upcoming visit to New York City (a walking town) will now be a joy. read more

The people there are so nice. My therapist and the people at the desk and the people in finance are really lovely. I give this place only three stars because of atmosphere and scheduling. The therapist only works with you for 30 min at most and then send somételes in to do the exercises of treatment. Then the therapist goes to another client so they see someone every 30 minutes. It must be to Gérard more money. I don't think it's fair to the therapist or the clients. If it's for money it's definitely not being spent on the facility. It's a clinical setting with fluorescent lighting and no windows in any of the therapy rooms. The place has windows but it's used for the lobby and offices. This place would be so much more pleasant if they used the office for treatment rooms. read more

I started with Bechtel about two months ago. As I came in I was in severe pain and could barely walk with a hip issue. Daniel was my Physical Therapist and along with Emily I received excellent care and guidance. They were supportive and knowledgable and I quickly recovered to my present state of wellness. Terri Bechtel is a knowledgeable physical therapist and cares for her work. However, I felt like Bechtel physical therapy was run too much like a business and when you are seeing someone for an injury/pain that is not what you want. I also had similar issues as the other person who gave one star. I was told after 10 treatments that my insurance only covers 12. At that point they had already charged me for well over 12 and to date have still not refuned me my over payment, even though I have called the office to remind them several times! I was not done with my treatment and they offered me no options. They suggested pilates and when I asked for referrals they did not give me options. My insurance does cover over 12 sessions and I am now going to another therapist who is helping me much more. read more
