My first appointment was around Christmas/new years and they were able to fit in me quickly for the initial exam. I saw a few different people at first and just booked whoever was available, but started to book Ron and Ephraim since their time and availability always seemed to work with my schedule. I could definitely feel my knee/leg getting stronger and was often sore (in a good workout kind of way) and they never pushed me when I couldn't complete any sets. They really listened to feedback when I was sore and had pain and adjusted the entire workout around my feedback as well as the post workout treatment. I had a great experience with everyone including the front desk which was great with providing the receipts I needed for my hsa/fsa claims. Hopefully I won't be a repeat patient, but i won't hesitate to use them again if needed.

Doreen Akry, the owner, is superior in finding the exact exercise for recovery for each specific injury/surgery. The office staff is friendly and easy to deal with and the PT assistants (not sure if this is their correct job titles) in the gym are very well educated and very well trained. Doreen is expanding her practice in West Hollywood and is doing it in a way to maintain the high quality of care that can always be expected from her and her staff.

Aside from my experience receiving PT treatment, I was a massage therapist and instructor at a career college for many years, so I am very knowledgeable about these things, and PT only helps if the therapist knows what they're doing. I work with Ally. I wasn't sure how it was going to go after the first assessment, but once we got rolling along I have been very happy with the service and knowledge and effectiveness of what she and the staff have been able to do with my therapy. Like most of these places, they are over-booked (I should have gone into this profession, they seem to have more patients than they know what to do with), but as long as you make your appointments well in advance, you can usually get them when you want them. Treatment rooms are clean and comfortable, plenty of parking. The front office staff is professional and friendly. The aides I've worked with so far have all been great. The gym is a bit small, but I haven't had a lot of time in there. It's great that they will give you a printout of your exercises and/or you can access them via the app. I still kind of miss my PT in Calabasas, but that's a long way away, and I can say I finally found something in the neighborhood that works for me.

Countless doctors told me my pain was not pelvic floor-related and then kept prescribing medications for my bladder that didn't help. I felt dismissed and hopeless. I finally ended up going to Heather Jeffcoat after a doctor at UCLA didn't know what to do with me but said that if anyone knew, it would be Heather. Heather was different. She took the time to truly listen and understand my complex symptoms. And yes -- pelvic floor dysfunction was a major part of it. I have interstitial cystitis (IC), and pelvic floor dysfunction is a significant component of my condition. Because of Heather, I continue to improve.
