They stained it to match the cabinets, after I told the installer I wanted dark floors. They never finished grouting the bathroom floor and took the grout so I couldn't finish it. As the years have gone by, I've realized they only put one coat of poly in the floor, not two. I've been disappointed for years. Today, I found the original receipt and they sold me 1131 sf of flooring with a note that there is 5% for waste. The problem is, the new contractor who measured says there is only 800sf downstairs. That's 331 sf extra that I never got. It's almost $1000 over what I should have been charged! This whole thing was a scam from the start!

David came out, looked at my shower, (seriously, just looked at the shower and threw out a number and said he could do it the next week for xxx amount) and he was done. I asked for a written estimate detailing what steps would be taken since he couldn't tell me when he was at my home. He obviously was just the salesman and didn't know anything about this project. Other bids I received said that it would take a good week to repair and he said two days, which I found odd. Anyway, he called me the next day asking me if he could put me down for the next week to get his guys scheduled. Told him I was waiting for the detailed estimate-not detailed with $$, detailed as in the steps taken to repair. I never heard from him again. Ghosted. He wasted my time and made the company look really bad. He over promised and under delivered. It is a real shame as I have a lot of high profile clientele that I was going to give referral to had the project come out well. Now it will be the opposite. All he had to do is be honest and tell me he was incorrect and it couldn't be done. I felt as if I was being pushed into signing on the dotted line without knowing what I was signing. When you are replacing flooring, timing matters -- and we did not feel that our time was respected. The initial installation required correction, which added further inconvenience. After issues were addressed and a balance adjustment was agreed upon, Cy contacted my wife directly requesting additional personal payment through Zelle/Venmo. This was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Payment matters should go through proper company channels -- not personal payment apps. Overall, we did not feel that the level of care, professionalism, or customer consideration matched what we paid for. We expect contractors to communicate clearly, honor scheduling commitments, stand behind their work properly, and handle disputes professionally. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

It matched after we had spent 10 months of searching at many flooring businesses unsuccessfully to find a match. Laura ordered the product immediately and within less than a week we had the product. Rick spent the time detailing how we could fix the floor ourselves if we wanted. Instead, we used Rick's installer, Leo, and are glad we did.
