Great food. My wife is Bolivian, so we like this Bolivian restaurant. Our favorite item are the vegetarian salteñas. Good drinks as well. They have sodas, water, diet, wine, alcohol, and beer.

Great vibe and atmosphere. Food was amazing. Bolivian cuisine is full of wonderful flavors. Their service was great overall.

Food was okay, it was very simple and could use some seasoning. It was my first time trying Bolivian dishes and I wasn't impressed

One of the only Bolivian restaurants in California, it seems like. Need to drive an hour to visit but well worth it to get a taste of our Bolivian cuisine.

Great Bolivian cuisine! The salteñas and sopa de mani were excellent. It's hard to find mocochinchi; Bean's does not dissappoint. We will definitely eat here again.

I drive an hour to go to Bebas to pick up Bolivian Saltenas or empanadas--delicious Latin street food.

Only good thing here are the saltenas. Unfortunately they are now priced at 4.50 each! Won't be supporting this place moving forward.

The server/bartender was warm & welcoming so we decided to have a few margaritas and try a few dishes. We ordered the elote, lomo saltado & shrimp over garbanzo beans. Each dish was very flavorful and had a great kick. Great service, beautiful space and delicious bites - look forward to trying it again!

Hidden Gem Alert! This place honestly deserves 6 stars if that were a thing…read more It's a true scratch kitchen. Nothing pre-made, everything crafted fresh and customized to your liking, and you can absolutely taste the difference. It's tucked off Katella across from the TJ Maxx and Smart & Final center, with parking and entrance in the back. Once inside, you're welcomed by such a friendly team. The space has two dining rooms, a cozy bar at the entrance, and a cute little street-facing patio. We kicked things off with the Picchu and La Diabla cocktails. The Picchu was crisp, refreshing, and light. Super easy to sip. The Diabla had a subtle spicy kick that kept things interesting while still refreshing. For food, we started with the ceviche mixto without octopus, and wow. The citrusy lime flavors were bright and fresh, perfectly balanced with sweet plantain chips on the side. The portion was huge, easily enough for three to four people. Next was the mixed Lomo Saltado. It was packed with flavor, though the chicken leaned a bit dry for me. I would probably go all-in on the beef or shrimp next time. The shrimp were huge. Then came the ribeye tacos and I'm not exaggerating when I say I was in love. The beef was cooked to perfection. Juicy, tender, and every bite felt like a moment. We also ordered extra plantains because these flavors just call for it. Crispy, sweet, and so satisfying. My second drink, the Oye Mi Amore, was a standout for me. I love guava and this one delivered. Now let's talk about the experience because it really made the night. When another server came to box up our food, we didn't catch his name, but he turned a simple paper bag into a whole luxury experience and had us laughing nonstop. Our server then asked about dessert. Of course we said yes since it was date night. She surprised us with a complimentary churro. While we waited, she brought out tequila shots. Totally unexpected and so smooth. Then the churro arrived and it was unlike any I've had. Light, airy, and delicate instead of dense, with just the perfect sweetness. The whipped cream was soft and cloud-like and paired beautifully. As if that wasn't enough, she came back again with another round, this time in snifter glasses with a darker tequila that was rich and incredibly smooth. We never felt rushed. We were just genuinely taken care of the entire time. For the two of us, the total came out to $145, which felt more than fair for the quality and experience. We will 100% be back, and next time we are bringing family and friends. Huge thank you to the staff for making this such a fun and memorable night.

Came here to meet for a weeknight dinner with my Colombian friends. Parking was not too difficult…read morein the lot and though the restaurant is not that large we were able to get a table for 5 walking in at 5:30PM. Service was friendly but this particular night there was only one server for the entire restaurant so we had to wait a while to get our order taken plus we were never checked on so we had to wait a while to ask for water later and a really long time before we got our checks. The interior is colorful with faux windows on the wall and nice "Colombia" letters above the register. The menu is extensive though prices NOT listed on the paper menus. Food is slightly on the more expensive side but portions are decent in return. We ordered empanadas, jugo de lulo, aguapanela con limón, mondongo, and bistec a caballo. I also sampled some of their arepa con queso, bandeja paisa, and picada dishes that our friends ordered. Unfortunately, the restaurant was out of many drinks and also sold out of desserts. The mondongo was excellent and piping hot, but I am a big fan of tripe; it was served with rice and shredded cabbage. The bistec a caballo came as a large piece of steak and was bathed in a flavorful sauce and came with rice, a cup of beans, and a fried egg. The drinks and empanadas were also tasty. Overall, it was an excellent meal other than slightly subpar service on this visit. I would love to return on Fridays for their ajiaco, and Sundays for their sancocho!

After eating at several Argentinian restaurants recently, I've been on a chimichurri kick. I have…read moretried chimichurri sauces from Whole Foods and Trader Joe's but they aren't really very authentic. A friend recommended seeing what El Gaucho might have, so I visited the next day. The market is easy to spot with a big street sign out front. There are only two parking spots in front, one is a handicapped space. There's plenty of parking around the back though. When you walk in, you will see the main market with lots of items and brands I've never seen before. Slightly to the right is their deli counter with lots of meats, cheeses, and other miscellaneous items. To the right of the entrance is a dining area, and another counter where you can order sandwiches, empanadas, pizza, French fries, and drinks. I was laser focused on getting the chimichurri and leaving since I was short on time. It is in plastic bottles in plain view on on top of the deli counter. I purchased the regular variety, but they also have a spicy version. I could already tell this was going to be way better than the other two sauces I tried. I've had it on a steak, and on my breakfast scrambled eggs, and it's in a whole different league from the grocery versions I tried. It looks just like a restaurant chimichurri, oil based with lots of herbs and spices. I just had a nice filet mignon with chimichurri at a good Argentinan restaurant last week, and this chimichurri is about 90% as good. I moved it from the plastic bottle it comes in to a glass jar which will hopefully help preserve it longer, and store it in the refrigerator. I now have no reason to look elsewhere for chimichurri. My friend visits here periodically and says the sandwiches are excellent. I'll have to return again to try one, get more chimichurri, and explore the market and deli to see what other goodies they have.

Never had a Milanese sandwich, so no idea what to expect. To me the sandwich lacked a little flavor so used the sauce from the empanada on it. Not sure i would go out of my way to eat here but if I crave empanadas I would get the beef again.

The FOOD: 4.5/5 | Drinks: 5/5 Off the appetizers, we had the pork belly bites and dirty fries! First dish came with a long hot pepper, several mini tortillas, and 2 dipping sauces. The pork was crunchy on the outside and soft+succulent on the inside. I can see myself doubling up on this appetizer the next time I come. Dirty fries were great; it came with a generous amount of pickled onions - providing a really nice contrast to the savoriness of our meal. Our waiter graciously accommodated our request to have the egg on the side. Off the entrée/taco menu, my friend ordered the Korean tacos and I got the Ensenada (fish) tacos. But you can also order the Ensenada tacos with shrimp. These were delicious, I would have loved a little more lime crema to go with the fish - but not a big deal. I got a Watermelon Margarita. I wasn't expecting it to be HUGE, but it was the perfect amount considering how much food we as a pair ordered. My friend ordered the La Toxica table side cocktail and one additional mango cocktail.
