I said on that day, "I will never find an ice cream this good ever again!" Now, this doesn't mean I don't eat ice cream. I do. But nothing compared quite to pineapple ice cream. Well, as time as gone on, I have had pineapple ice cream here & there (it's not very popular) and have enjoyed each moment. And then, this past Saturday, I am out on a bike ride with my wife, and I see this food truck called "Pineapple Bliss." And I exclaimed (out loud!), "wait! There is pineapple ice cream in NWA?!?!?!?!!!" So, we pulled up to the food truck. I noticed right away that it was lactose-free. All of sudden I was skeptical that this would measure up to my expectation of glorious pineapple ice cream. The young lady who worked the truck was kind and helped us understand the menu. They have a rolling menu of about 60 flavors that they change our every few days. We ordered the pineapple, of course..... and ...... it ..... was ........ perfect!! The consistency was spot on. The flavor was incredible. This is what I have dreamed of having in NWA. Now it is here. The lady asked if we wanted to try the other flavors. "Um....Ok!" said I. They had a cherry limoncello (super yum!), and a Ube (which is a purple yam -- sounds weird, but the flavor was excellent! I guess I like yam ice cream now too.... who knew, lol) All to say: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Best ice cream in NWA. It's off the beaten path a bit, but totally worth it! When you arrive there is plenty of parking on the street. You'll walk in through the entrance on Walnut street and order at the counter. It will feel like you were transported to a very industrial, open, lively atmosphere. For coffee I ordered the Hail Fellow Well Met latte (brown butter, caramel, sea salt, espresso, and oat milk). The flavors were excellent and you could tell the sauces/syrups are made in house. This is a great coffee shop to work remotely from or just hang out for a bit in. Definitely stop in to grab a coffee in you are in the old town Rogers area.
