Going on a lion hunt going to catch a big one I'm not scared was my favorite I miss that place some day I hope to make it back to arrowhead in the hopefully near future

Now as an adult I can appreciate it even more! There are plenty of trails to explore by foot or bike. If that's not your speed, you can rent the paddle boats or a canoe to go around Rabbit Island, go fishing, or go for a dip in the lake. It's a nice quiet campground and coming from the city, you can really see the stars out there! If tent camping or RV camping isn't your thing, you can go glamping and rent one of their cabins. They're perfect to enjoy with some family or friends (I've done both on a few occasions). Bonus- you get your own shower, toilet and a fully functional kitchen! But you'll have to book them early as they can go fast! My family has long ties with the Bull family and they are truly amazing people! Definitely book a weekend (or a season) with Camp Arrowhead!

Gravel was loos and I started to spin my rear wheels to the point where the camper slid into a tree at the hitch! A seasonal camper cut the tree down and helped me to another site near the portapotties. Place smelled bad all week. Thw owner offer no money off my stay. When we went ho.e thw siding blew off the camper where it hit the tree. I have me MF'n this place every where I can. Bunch of nasty MOFOS. RATING ZERO

He sold the campground to new owners and they seemed promising and nice, but it was clearly to win over the campers so they could reveal their true intentions after gaining our trust. They practically doubled the rates, placed several new rules in place and last year told everyone without an RV that they were no longer welcome. So much for loyalty. Be warned...if you aren't rich enough like them (they are from California and still live there, go figure) they will find a way to keep you out. After they took over there was a huge exodus of campers who were fed up and I know more that are planning to leave after this season. Save your money and avoid the frustration. There are a lot of choices out there.

Note-the tent sites didn't offer a ton of privacy, it was kind of open. It was very close to two bathrooms. It was very quiet. We were so impressed upon arrival. Everything was well marked and clean. The general store has a little bit of everything. The staff was helpful and friendly. They offered a lot of family friendly activities. We were there during their harvest festival weekend. They offered hay rides and cider and donuts by their bon fire the first night we were there. Almost all of their activities are included. They charge a fee for their zip lines. They offer free pedal bike usage alongwith boat usage. It is conveniently located to Niagara Falls. They offer late check-in and even check in for folks who don't have a reservation, if they have availability Saturday morning the store opened at 9 AM a little late for us since we were on the road by 845. We were hoping to buy acup of coffee (they have $2 K-cups).

We stayed for a month. First 3 weeks were great minus the trash not getting picked up weekly. Mark…read morekept the grass cut well esp having to fix it when it broke once. Pete leveled the roads and got rid of the mud spots! The campground was pretty full and the number of bags going in, matches the volume of people there. I contacted the owner and he blamed it on someone in the apt there. The recycling was never picked up or dropped off for the entire month. Fast forward to last week. Police came in several times when the owner returned. It was apparent after seeing him with Mike's hard drink in hand in the morning, that's the problem. This guy drives the tractor then and smashes a bunch of things including a picnic bench. I was scared he was going to hit my RV when he drove it. Then he starts trying to fix the road himself (it was fine when he came back). He starts dumping dirt all over it. Pete fixes it again after that. Oh yeah the dog park, they didn't put in a swing gate so the dog park is way overgrown and they can't get a mower in. Who wants to take their dog into a tick park? Then comes Friday and we see him go outside in the morning during the daylight and take a poop outside in public (bathrooms are across the street from him). Fast forward to when we are trying to leave and he's pouring mud all over the roads. Thankfully he didn't cover the one side and we were able to get out. The campground owner needs rehab, 100%. I don't feel he's a bad guy, just stuck in a drunken stupor. This is a quiet, no-frills campground. We never had any issues with the water electric or any hook ups. We definitely did not drink the water there as we never drink campground water anyway. Sites are pretty level. It rained heavy a few times and our site stayed pretty dry. As long as the owner is not present, things are ran and look great.

Rates are competitive. The grounds and facilities are meticulously maintained. Shower rooms are very clean. We leave our travel trailer here and come several times a month for a few days. That is one way to cope with the fuel crunch and not have your RV/TT sit in your driveway unused. I would recommend Misty Mountains without reservation.
