I mentioned I wanted my nails cut down, but there was no discussion around length and he ended up choosing it for me. They are now much shorter than I wanted. I also booked a fill and showed a picture of an ombré French. He said he didn't have time and that I would need a full set. When I agreed to switch, he then told me no and insisted on a fill. At that point, I should have left, but I stayed and regretted it. I understand time restrictions but this was upsetting. The nails don't look terrible, but they're not what I asked for and look a bit lumpy and rushed.

The pedicure itself ($35) included no scrubbing of heels themselves, minimal attention to cuticles and a perfunctory-at-best "massage" of the feet and legs. When my attendant asked if things were ok and I said what I'd prefer (slower, deeper massaging, the nails cut straight across other than catty-cornered) he seemed annoyed. Once home, I noticed one big toe was markedly shorter than the other, and there was not polish on the blunt end of either big toe nail. I don't expect the polish to stay on well because of this. Perhaps it was just the manicurist I got, that particular day and so forth, but I won't be chancing it again.
