Love this store. This is my go to spot of all of the hair and beauty products in The Do we area. This store has everything plus what you didn't know about! This store is not just for people of color, but all people with hair and skin :) It is difficult to find stores that have a wide selection of wigs, hair and products that are geared toward people of color and this store more than fits the bill. If you can't find products that you are looking to purchase, just ask one of the store associates. They will either find it in heir store (as they likely have it), or they can start stocking the product. I have added a few pictures of prices and quality products that I purchased today. The prices are the best in town and you will not find a better price for most of the products in town. Wigs and hair........what can I say?!!! They keep all of the latest styles, types and etc in the area. I have began to notice that they get different types of wigs on a continual basis ( weekly and bi-weekly). Of all similar store to this one, by far this is the best one by a long shot! They have a HUGE selection of hair pieces and always a specialist there to help u try out something new. They also have great prices....including jewelry, (even body jewelry) The store is huge! Well organized and easy to shop in. I wish I lived closer to this store, but as my husband said if we did he would prolly be broke. If you have never been in this store, then definatly try it out if you are in the area! read more

how this place has all these stars is beyond me .they price gouge .i went in to buy some bold hold active bc i didn't want to wait to receive it from the actual bold hold website. i get in there and there bold hold active is 39.99 and i said im not buying that online its 26$(on the bold hold website).i also notice there packaged hair is 20-30$ more than other hair stores in other places. the same hair!!!! the only reason i give them 2 stars is bc they are very big with a wide variety of hair products in dover de.other than that.....i wouldn't shop there and after today i wont be going in there again. i don't like thieves! read more

THE WORST EVER. Anyone who rates this store 5 stars needs to broaden their shopping experience and venture out of Dover, DE. In reading the reviews, I see that most people commented on the wide selection of products offered. I couldn't get past the utter disrespect, condescending manner of the owners, co-owners, workerbees...whatever they want to be called. They were all Asian and, unfortunately, had the same unpleasant disposition. I am used to walking into an establishment where I am treated like I am a 'valued' customer. I am new to the area, so the only reason I can imagine other consumers giving them 5 stars is because they are used to that kind of ignorant behavior. In addition to the conflicting closing times posted on the door (i.e., 1 sign states 8:00 pm the other states 7:55 pm), I was rushed and watched while I 'tried' to browse for 1 specific item -- which I made perfectly clear to the IGNORAMUSES -- a lip pencil. As soon as I walked through the door, I was told, we are closing in 20 minutes. I reiterated that I am only looking for a lip pencil - which were all located in the front of the store. What they need to know and understand is that everyone who enters their store is responsible for their livelihood. Without the consumer, any establishment will fail. I could not care less about the amount of inventory this or any other store has. I will choose my dignity any day. I don't care if I am only spending $20 - BEAUTY MAX CUSTOMERS - the way that you are treated speaks volumes about how the owner views you. Lack of good customer service will ruin any business. BEAUTY MAX - please be made aware that customers who are used to shopping at high end stores with more intelligible staff will not tolerate your ignorant behavior - which is why I did not and will never spend not even $1 in your store.
