I first connected with May who was friendly and hospitable. She started me off by removing my dip nails from my last style and set me up with Diane who is their ombre nail design specialist ( her shift begins at 1pm). She is so skilled at the work she does, and is up-to-date with current nail design trends. She was very gentle patient and valued, paying attention to detail and ensuring a finished polished look. I am so happy with the way my nails turned out! I recommend coming here as soon as you can! spread the word.

She took time to do the massage and it felt great. One thing i wasnt told before and they did it while paying was they added 5$ for the color which was very shady because they asked me to pickup from that lot when i entered without mentioning the additional charge.

They also were very quick and were able to get me in and out in under an hour and a half which included massage! They did a fabulous job. I usually get dip, but since I wanted to be quick, I knew that gel was the way to go, and the gel is lasting longer than it usually does on my nails! The color options were superb and the price point was very comparable to the area if not below. You definitely get your moneys worth here! thank you to my nail tech. You were wonderful!

In response Nadia's review I was actually there at the salon today and witnessed everything. First…read moreof all Sonia is SANDRA and she is also the owner of the salon with her partner that the the client said she called. On their appointment options there is an option to have a one nail fix which is what this was originally about and then then Nadia said she wanted to have all her nails fixed which is an entirely different appointment time then having a one nail fix. By the way this was happening while Sandra was in the middle of doing another client's nails. I was more then understanding when Sandra had another tech start the removal process on my nails because it was obvious that she needed to deal with this upset client. So since this woman decided to change her mind and request a whole new set she didn't understand the difference between a one nail fix time and a whole set. Instead she decided to request a refund and a removal. Then another woman who was associated with Nadia was also trying to argue with Sandra, mind you she wasn't even a client. Since I originally booked my appointment with Sandra she switched us so that I can continue with her and Nadia can get her removal with another tech. So of course Sandra didn't have time because I had my appointment booked. Mind you the whole time Nadia got a removal she could've just gotten her one nail fix. And by the way another girl with an appointment came in and was also very understanding since they were still removing Nadia's nails. Obviously this is why you can't just change your mind the day of your appointment because they have other booked appointments and fit you in based on your original request, it's not for you to change your mind. By the way on the Vagaro app there are 472 reviews and they have five stars so you should check out those reviews before you decide based on one bad review. You will see people like me that absolutely love their work and professionalism. And I included my nail design that will show my ring which will be on their Instagram for today's date as well just in case people try to say this is a fake review.

I booked a detailed nail art appointment with Sandra after sending my desired design to Art Up…read more Even though there is a price range for the session, beware of upcharge for senior artist. Sandra is a senior artist, so her price is higher. The studio also charged $10 more to remove my existing dip powder set in addition to their normal removal fee (which applies to gel only). My nails ended up costing $210 in cash (they only take cash here). While I was content with the outcome, it was not close to the original design I sent. I felt that there could have been better communication up front about the extra charges. I would prefer to be informed before they start working on my nails instead of during, where there's no option to back out. It has been 3 weeks, I noticed the colors have faded, and the top coat on a few nails peeled at the edge. Other than that, no broken nails or anything major. In my opinion the experience at Art Up is not worth the high cost.

I feel like she really took her time and it didn't feel rushed! The not as good: Unfortunately, my gel manicure was pretty rushed. The hand massage that came with it was no more than 15 seconds per hand, and I'm used to a brief 2-3 min shoulder massage after a manicure and didn't get that. Not sure if that's typical of salons in n, but for me it was unusual! The most unfortunate part of the manicure was that it hasn't lasted very long at all. I got a gel manicure and by the next day the sides were already lifting on three nails. Pics were taken 3 days after the manicure and you can see lifting on every nail but my pinkies. Disappointing :( Tbh I haven't decided if I'd go back yet...

I saw 800 Miss Nail's reasonable prices on Yelp and am glad I decided to try them out. I made an appointment for 3PM on Saturday and it was quite busy around that time, but it had slowed down by the time I left around 5PM. I've never done a Russian manicure before but I think this is the closest I've gotten. My nail tech spent extra long on nail prep, including using a tiny drill around the cuticle area. However it wasn't painful at all and I loved the end result. I got hard gel over my natural nails, and I can't comment on the longevity yet but my nails do feel quite sturdy. She then topped it with with the normal gel color and chrome that I picked out. In total I paid $75 in cash before tip, chrome was $10 extra and I had an extension added for one nail.
