I was looking for nail salons in the York Region area that caries the powder dip brand "Nugenesis"…read moreand came across this salon. I was surprised at first that there were no reviews of this place on Yelp, but did find a few on Google that gave me some positivity about this nail salon. I called on Monday afternoon to make an appointment on Tuesday afternoon. I struggled to find the nail salon within the plaza, that I had to refer to the Google picture of its storefront to find the place. There were a few other nail salons in the plaza, which gave me trouble finding Thee Nail Salon, but eventually found it. Parking is a little tricky depending on how busy the plaza is, but I THINK there is also underground parking? This small nail salon is run by two sweet Cambodian women. I had Theear do my nails. She was very sweet and friendly throughout the service and I had a great time getting to know her. The nail service itself was good, no complaints from me. She accomplished doing the nail shape that I liked. The reason why I am going to continue coming here from now on is because of the Nugenesis dip powder they use here. They have soooooooooooo many colours here that I was overwhelmed but happy. Theear also mentioned that if they do not have the colour that I want in the dipping powder, they can do a base white Nugenesis, and then shellac on top, which is only $5 extra. Looking forward to coming back!

Poor service,…read more Damaged my face I've been going to the salon for the last couple of times . I was there to have my eyebrows done . Sorry I went there as the owner was waxing my eyebrows she did a sloppy job on the right side and the left side she yanked the cotton so hard it pulled out part of my skin. Unfortunately she had the wax put halfway down on my eyelid so when she removed the cotton it tore my eyelid . She panicked and started mopping up the blood . I am so sorry I ever went to this place and will never go again . I took some pictures and was even considering going to see a lawyer to sue for damages. Very unhappy with the service as well as the damages done to my eyelids. When that was over she still turned around and charged me for my eyebrows . If you know what's good for yourself do not go to Bindia's Salon. 7th

Environment: 5/5 She recently opened up a beautiful store right on Broadview & Gerrard. It's modern with a rustic edge to it and very bright and warm. The burnt orange couch she has at the front of the store reminds me of a modern take on the Friends cafe couch- very Instagram worthy! Customer Service: 5/5 When you walk in, you are immediately greeted by whoever is at the front reception desk. Professionalism: 5/5 During my first appointment, Lina was very thorough on what was to be expected - she said it would be like fine cat scratches, uncomfortable but not painful - tbh I fell asleep during the procedure. She mapped my face, and than used an app to show me all the angles matching up to the shape she drew out. At the end she gave me an after care package - with chocolate in it! Nice touch Her work speaks for itself, she is very experienced and doesn't do what's trendy- she does it all based on your face structure and current brows. Experience: 5/5 Immediately after my first appointment she booked my touch up appointment which was 8 weeks. My brows healed great- no scabbing thanks to her after care package. During my next appointment she displayed the same level of professionalism. This time- my skin was a bit more sensitive due to the time of the month, and she would continuously ask if the pain was okay. She's EXTREMLY talented, and I highly recommend going to her! Absolutely amazing!
