I was called beforehand and told my stylist was running behind, but I could still come at 1:30 and wait or come at 2:30. I chose to keep my original time. When I arrived, they had another stylist do my service instead. I showed a picture of the chocolate tone I wanted, but my hair came out with red undertones and wasn't what I was hoping for. When I called the owner, Desiree, to express my concerns, I felt her response was rude and dismissive. She explained that I would have needed a lowlight service to achieve the look I wanted, which I wish had been communicated before my hair was done. What bothered me most was the lack of empathy. I explained that I felt really unhappy and unattractive with my hair, and I didn't feel like my concerns mattered. Getting your hair done should make you leave feeling beautiful and confident, and unfortunately I left feeling neither. I truly believe kindness and understanding go a long way, especially when a client is already upset. I hope future clients who have concerns are treated with more empathy and care.
