Then another person told me we told them not to put the Polaris in and they did do the cleaning. But you said the pool was too cloudy to do the cleaning and put the Polaris in. So something just doesn't add up. The one person's solution was for us to pay them to come and do a cleaning at their normal rate.

Early on, they were friendly and somewhat responsive to our many questions and concerns that came up with the concrete work, tile work, coping stones etc. However, we have several issues we have been trying to get them to address for literally 4 months. At minimum, we have asked that the owner Alex come out and look at the sub-par plaster and accent work that was done by his crew on May 6th and offer some solutions or next steps. We have emailed and talked on the phone multiple times to Lisa asking for a meeting and guidance- with no response or date set of a meeting. They also never told us about the very specific and important steps to care for the plaster until 1 week later and claimed the emailed bounced back, but other emails regarding billing have come through just fine. This could be one issue why the plaster looks terrible, but we are not sure because they won't come out and look at it. We have hesitated until now to write any negative reviews and given them ample time to respond and waited patiently for help/advice. We are tired of waiting and tired of some friends asking- "why is your pool all scratched up and discolored? Wasn't it newly renovated?"

If the hoses froze, our expensive hot tub would be ruined! Brian walked me through exactly what to do to fix the leak and where to go to get a small enough heater to keep the hoses warm. When my service day came, Eric was right on time, checked the service panel as a matter of practice finding a loose wire and then was able to replace the pump even though near impossible to get to location. Even if I have to wait a month for an appointment, I won't use another hot tub repair company.

I told him that if he needed help to mount the TVs once he placed the mounts on the wall to give me a shout. I went downstairs, and barely heard him working. He worked so quietly that my nervous pup didn't even bark or get anxious. Marcus worked fast, told me he was done, and he had the TVs mounted on the wall. The swing arm mount is perfectly placed and moves smoothly. It is just what I envisioned and hoped for and no mess. Marcus gave us the different payment options, price was as quoted with no changes. HVAC Direct was the first company I contacted and Scott came within an hour of the call and got to work right away. And within an hour he diagnosed and fixed the problem (luckily just a shot capacitor) at what I thought was a reasonable price. Scott was super professional and friendly without being pushy with any additional products to sell. He also checked our other working unit just about of precaution. So grateful he was able to come and fix things so fast on the eve before a long weekend in the midst of a heatwave. My husband contacted HVAC Direct Heating & Cooling after normal business hours concerning our A/C…read moreunit at our personal residence was ONLY blowing warm air!! Now the previous evening, my husband contacted a large local competitor to check our HVAC system. Technician from local competitor came out and looked out HVAC system, didn't test any components and stated "our compressor was locked & leaking refrigerant and quoted my husband $6k to replace it or we can purchase a brand new HVAC system for $25k!!!" (NOT TRUE!!!). The tech even left our outside power switch unplugged so we couldn't test the system!! SMH!!! We won't contact them for any service ever again nor recommend them to any neighbors, friends and family!!! Joe K, Service Technician at HVAC Direct Heating & Cooling contacted my husband within 20 minutes of him contacting the office the next business day and scheduled a visit that evening. He came out to the house, checked the compressor and quickly diagnosed the capacitor as the problem & replaced it. And Joe K. even showed my husband how he diagnosed the capacitor as the issue NOT the compressor leaking refrigerant as stated by local competitor!! No refrigerant leaking at all!! Compressor in good condition!! In addition, Joe K., checked the wiring, fan, all associated parts and cleaned our a/c unit. No issues at all!! Just some cleaning needed!!! HVAC in excellent working condition AGAIN!!! In addition, he checked our furnace, cleaned some our internal components and showed my husband some DIY things to do to maintain our HVAC system throughout the year!! I ended up having to re-clean everything myself. I was very disappointed with having spent $400, I definitely felt like I didn't get what I paid for. I will say that they were kind when I spoke with them on the phone, I haven't had a chance to call back regarding this issue (I had it cleaned in the beginning of April) and I know it's well past that time but Ive had a lot of things hitting me back to back so tried to let it go and I'm sorry, I just couldn't. It bugs me a lot. I'd definitely be happy if something could be worked out regarding this but I also completely understand if nothing can be done because it's been so long. I called 4M and explained that we were hosting a pool party the next day and asked for help. I was worried because it was still pool opening season and I knew it was a busy time. Charlie came out, assessed the situation, and told us our old pump motor had failed. He installed a new (and much better) motor, added chemicals to the pool and gave a few instructions (including call him if I had any questions or problems). The pool was so clear for the party that I never gave it another thought! A few years ago we had a really rainy winter and despite lowering the water level at closing, the water level reached the rim. Charlie came out and drained it back down at no charge. We were worried about it happening when we were out of town, so he recommended a small pump. Now I have peace of mind. Every season I count on 4M to open and close my pool, and I know they are always there to help if anything else happens. I tried several companies before I found their unparallelled service! When I called back on June 22nd, I was told by Chris (Customer Experience Manager) that he had no recollection of our first call, that he gets 40 calls a day, and that because I didn't keep reaching out, no appointment had been made. I was then told to "try again in July." I waited 12 days under the impression I was already in the queue because that's what I was told. If they had been honest upfront, I could have contacted another company instead of wasting valuable time. Very poor communication and customer handling.
