They were understaffed with only one guy Curtis testing, answering phones and dealing with other customers eventhough I was first. And then he tried to sell me so many extra products that ive been told for years were not needed. He was about to sell me $500 of salt eventhough I told him I just put it in the week before. When I asked him wouldnt the existing salt start to work once it got warm he admitted it but said that I would need chlorine shock and pucks in the meantime. Getting every dime out of me! I needed an Intellichlor power center replaced and I saw them for $304 on Amazon. I asked Colin why I should buy it from Johnson Pools at $476? He said it would come with a 3 year warranty. I tried for 3 weeks to get them to send me the warranty in writing and when he finally sent it, turns out it's only for 1 year. And you only have 60 days to register your warranty so if they don't get it to you quickly enough, you could lose out on the warranty all together. I wasn't real happy. Spent an extra $172 bucks for a 1 year warranty. Not a good value in my opinion. Don't let them try to up-sell you on their marked up inventory unless you get the warranty in writing ahead of time.
