The first woman working on me was rushed and wouldn't slow down I felt like she was going to cut me so I had to ask her to stop and grab someone else. The next girl came and retaliated and cut my toe. This place needs to be shut down and needs to get state board involved. I will be filing a claim this week. I came to Beautiful Nails on a Sunday evening with my older sister after we got turned away from two places. Anywho, the drive to this nail place I have not seen so many cop cars, as I rarely see a cop presence on the North West side of Fresno. My sister was wondering if her car will still be intact after we are done doing our nail date here. We were promptly seated immediately. This place was slightly packed and they close very late. I can't imagine closing late especially in the area. The nail techs were very nice and friendly. They have limited options on designs. I just got a fill which cost $27 and I paid for sisters nails which cost a total of $64. I was a little confused because it was so darn tootin cheap compared to other nail places. The nail techs are quick and fast. Make sure to leave tips if you feel they deserved it. Mine did and my sisters for sure. I may be back. I had nothing but a good experience here. Be vigilant of your surroundings as something happened in the plaza and 3 cop cars were talking to people when we were leaving. I went in yesterday morning, was the first client in the door and just wanted a regular pedicure and the tech who worked on my has 2 of my little toes hurting like hell!!! One of them seem like it's getting swollen and on top of that, she didn't even put any base coat before applying my polish. I felt rushed and unwelcomed. I went in to get my nails done for no particular reason other than to treat myself. I waited for about 10 minutes before being seated without an appointment which is amazing. I specifically got my nails done by Emily, a young woman. She didn't speak much but answered my questions and asked what services I wanted. She was very focused and detail oriented. I got acrylics with a gel finish for 28 dollars. I have officially had them on for 3 weeks and 4 days and are still very strong. I'm currently removing them and there is little to no damage on my nails. The damage is because I have little patients to remove them. The older man who sits at table number one was very rude didn't do the shape I asked for I wanted square and I got duck feet and I had to point out flaws in the paint more than once,like my nail wasn't covered and he was getting mad my nail isn't even fully covered in acrylic he didn't clean up around my cuticle area where there's paint,the polish is thick and caked under the tips of my nails. And the worst thing of all is in the middle of me getting my nails done a ROACH ran out from under his machine he killed it with his hand And proceeded to do my nails without changing his gloves first, I am disgusted. I am pleasantly surprised with my results! First time trying this salon and at first sight I was kinda worried with what I might get myself into. He shaped my nails into exactly what I wanted and for a good price too. Here I just got a fill. The only complaint would be that he didn't make sure he got the sides of the nails but otherwise it's not a big deal. They were very busy though! I went in for a take off and a full set. Nothing major. Well when Henry was taking off my old set he practically was taking off my skin as well. He could tell it was hurting by the face I was making. Never did he ask "Am I hurting you" or "Are you ok", maybe if I was bleeding he would have, but I wasn't so I guess he felt he didn't need to ask. Then he proceeds to put on the new nails. I told him I wanted almond shape. Apparently, we have different definitions of almond shape because he make them so round they look like an almond m&m. I thought he would of asked me if I liked it which they normally do after the first nail because I would of told him to stop I don't like them. He hardly even filed them down and they are not attractive looking, but I left the shop (which is not anywhere close to where I live) and half way home I decided to call them and let them know I was not happy at all with my nails. I mean how badly can you mess up a french manicure with white tips?! So Emily who apparently owns and runs (not sure if she literally does, but she acts like it) the place answered the phone and I proceeded to tell her my story so she says "Ok come in tomorrow at 11a and well see what we can do." So I walk in and told her I called yesterday about not liking my nails and she says "Ok well we can fix them but it will be $30!!" I thought I am not paying another cent on these nails, so I said when I called yesterday you didn't say anything about it costing me more money! Needless to say I walked out even more disgusted and angry than my first visit! I don't recommend their services to anyone. They only do your nails how they want them done and if it something they don't know how to do or want to do they make up some lie why they can't do it. Pros: Really quick serice and lots of manicurists, you'll be in and out in no time. They are friendly and greet/serve you as soon as you walk in, unlike other nail shops. The french pedicure i recieved lasted forever! got it like month ago and it still looks good! ;) Cons: Not very clean, seems a little overcrowded and messy. They messed up on my left thumbnail and werent very friendly when i came back in and asked them to fix it. The guy that did my nails aske me to wait until he was done to fix it, even though there were tons of other manicurists there who weren't busy. I had to ask one of them myself to fix it and the lady who did it wasnt very friendly at all. The acrylic i got was too thick and lasted about a week before i already needed a fill. There was a huge dust bunny behind the nxt chair along with rust & dirt. The walls are painted green bt look brown & stained. Once i was done i went to get my nail fixed & the guy that was doing my nail kept messing with the acrylic before it dried so when i came out i noticed my nail is wobbly & its nt gonna last bc it didn't dry properly. I also noticed he used tools out a box labeled "SOILED TOOLS" I'm so upset. Then to top it all off i got stung so bad by mosquitoes on my arm neck & back while i was sitting in their chair getting my nail fixed. Worst experience ever do nt give these ppl your business.
