I've gone twice in the last month and had vastly different experiences. The first one was something…read morethat made me not want to come back had I not already booked the second with a different group of friends. The first class went well over the two hour window and we weren't even halfway finished with our pictures. I ended up leaving at 10 o'clock, so a full hour after the class was supposed to be over, with a canvas that was 3/4 of the way painted. The instructor was great, but the focus on getting the art done wasn't there. My last class wrapped up a few minutes after the two hour window, but there were a lot of details in the painting. I realized that most of the time the artist is painting the picture for the first time as well, so you're both figuring out details together. That's frustrating. Overall, it's a fun experience, but if you are not an artist at all, don't expect to walk away with a beautiful painting. There isn't time for the instructor to come and help you flush out any issues you have.

After we picked it up and I got it home (and we don't live in BR) I noticed there were some spots that didn't get glazed. I contacted them and was told to bring it back for a reglaze. So I did and now have gotten it back with a black line across the middle! Again I contacted them and their cold & unapologetic response was this can happen with a reglaze....BUT NO ONE BOTHERED TO MENTION THIS!! As if that isn't bad enough she will not refund me my money or let me come to repaint another platter for free she wants to charge me. And to top it off she hung up on me!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!

You can chose a big group to paint along with an instructor, or do open studio and get some one-on-one attention as you work at your own pace. It's almost like being in a classroom with 35 other people. Everyone has their own paint brushes, paint, easels, apron etc. which is all provided. The teacher/professional, aka artist of the night, sets up in the front of the room with a microphone and goes step by step on what colors to mix and what to paint on your canvas. Each session has its own unique picture to paint depending on the night you go. It is BYOB here and soooo much fun! You can bring snacks and wine and be merry! Such a great time for girls AND guys! I saw at least 5 guys at this particular session and they really enjoyed it! Ladies don't be shy to bring your guys here or just have a Girls Night! I'm sure everyone would have a blast!
