I have been to about five other places for Accupuncture and Dr. Bian has far exceeded any expectations I had. After being treated by her, i realized that I had no idea that Accupuncture could be this beneficial! I noticed a drastic difference in my upper back pain after one treatment. She put a lot more needles in, hooks them up to an electric machine and puts a heating lamp over my body and she has me lay there for twice as long as other places did. She also does cupping, which feels awesome. She is treating me for back pain, weight balance, and emotional support. I have had only five treatments so far and I can feel a big difference. There is no chiropractic care here. I combine my treatments with Dr. Lori at Arts District Chiropractic. I have been to about six other places to get this service, and she is the best. (I will write a separate review about her). Working with both Dr. Bian and Dr. Lori has truly been life changing. They are a great combo.

Dr He is as competent , kind and healing as any physician I have met…read more She specializes in women's issues, cancer, GI problems, allergies, anxiety, depression, back issues, muscle problems, weight loss and even cosmetic and skin disorders. Insurance covers the visits except for the co pay until that has been met, then there is no charge. She is a nurturing and calming person, and I fall asleep during treatments. When I am finished, I feel like I have been at a fountain of youth as my energy is up and the pain is gone or greatly lessened. The receptionists make it a priority to get you in, and they are friendly and accommodating. Herbs are available and the acupuncture treatments are painless. She will teach you methods to relieve a headache or other issue when you are at work, and is very open to helping however she can. I am grateful for this terrific and effective treatment, and I would like to share as I received this physician recommendation from a friend.

They have the most calming and welcoming environment with the best front desk staff as well. If you're looking for pain relief, fertility or hormonal help, mental health support, better sleep, or just want to experience the magic here, I highly recommend booking an appointment.

Jessica French and Nancy Bierma are the people I see for this and both are so friendly and knowledgeable. They always have product recommendations and information if asked but are never pushy about buying products. They recently added a massage therapist to their practice and Ray Neil is AMAZING. My spouse and I have both had massages and have left every time feeling relaxed and/or had pain reduced. The pressure is definitely not too light and she is generally intuitive about what is needed (I have asked for a little more pressure once and it was PERFECT), plus she has some great techniques for stretching/loosening painful areas. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Appointments are super easy to book online; if an appointment time is not available, call to see if they have some appointment times that are not listed online. The officer managers are all friendly and helpful. They also have some lovely products onsite to buy if you're interested, and they will usually offer you a cup of herbal tea after your treatment. They also accept HealthParters and Cigna insurance for acupuncture, just in case you have those carriers and acupuncture is covered under your plan. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Crocus Hill Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. I am thankful to have found such a wonderful, relaxing, and healing place.

I had high hopes but after 6 sessions, am very disappointed. For 4 reasons: 1) billing and…read moreinsurance problems and confusion causing me to spend a lot of time correcting their errors. 2) the treatment rooms are cinderblock and my treatments coincided with below zero weather. No heat. 3) Their solution was to use heat lamps. The last 2 times I went, I was feeling that I was getting burned. I shouted for help loudly and in a panic, and it took a long time to get Dr. Yang to come. I was so scared. The second time this happened -same thing - a woman came to my rescue and said she could not take the lamps away!!!??? Dr. Yang came in and I told him to turn them off. Horrible experience. 4) when I got the bills, they had the audacity to charge $6.18 each visit for heat lamps. None of my complaint is about acupuncture, it is about how they run their business. I will never go back, and cannot recommend it because of these things.

I was referred here by a friend and they were able to get me in for an appointment the same day. The initial cost was only $18! When you walk in, you will immediately smell what seems to be burning incense or sage (or something). Almost everyone there is Chinese and little English was spoken unless talking to a patient. For a minute I felt like I wasn't in MN anymore (thank goodness). I was seen by a student from the clinic, though there is the option to be seen by a faculty member. Faculty members do consult with the students before treatment. The level of care, concern and attention shown to me by the student and faculty member was impressive. They were able to come up with a solid treatment plan and also gave me some chinese herbs to take for a few weeks. I will be seeing them consistently for awhile and am so happy and relieved to have found them! If you've never had acupuncture, it's mostly pain free, maybe slightly uncomfortable. They leave you in the room with heat lamps and calming music for the 20-30 minutes that the needles are in. The student told me a lot of people fall asleep during that time. The academy also offers a host of other medical treatments in addition to acupuncture. It's also good to know that you can use FSA or HSA money to pay for treatments and some insurance companies cover services. It is pretty affordable if you do end up having to pay out of pocket.

Was initially drawn…read moreto the ease of scheduling online, location convenience and what seemed like straightforward pricing info on website. My appointment was scheduled for 10:15am. I called as my gps took me close but not exactly to the spot so I arrived about 10:18. I was not seen by the Dr. until almost 11am and she entered the room without explanation or apology for the delay. She asked me a few questions about pain and then proceeded with cupping therapy (what I booked the appointment for). The treatment itself was pretty simple, I've had cupping before. I thought it was odd that the Dr herself didn't come back to remove the cups or even check on me after the treatment. Cups were removed by the woman who checked me in and I basically never saw the Dr again except very briefly on my way out. When I checked out they tried to charge me $85 + $55 for cupping. Apparently the $85 was the "initial visit fee." I protested immediately and they reduced the charge. For that rate I would expect a thorough medical assessment, some warmth and general interest from the Dr etc. I gave immediate feedback on the wait time with no explanation or heads up and the difference in website pricing vs actual charge. The receptionist was genuinely kind and said she'd pass my comments on to the Dr.
