I was surprised she remembered me and what we had talked about 6 months ago during my first visit. Our conversation was therapeutic. She made it easy for me to open up to her. I very much appreciated that she asked if there were any specific areas I wanted her to focus on. If you're in need of a massage, reach out to her via email and make an appointment. I am always looking for a deal on massages because I have such tension in my shoulders and back. I purchased a Groupon (not available anymore) for myself and my husband (gift). I went in expecting a normal massage but when I got there she could just touch me and tell how bad the tension was. She focused on deep tissue to get my shoulders, neck and back relieved of the tension I have from being a side sleeper (arm above the shoulder all night). Oh my gosh, I have never had a massage that gave me that much relief. I was sore due to the deep tissue massage after, but I went home and iced it as she instructed (heat too) and it felt great the next day. I could tell this was something I NEEDED to do for myself on a more regular basis so before I left I did purchase a package of 5 from her (no pressure by her at all) so glad I did. I have used 2 of the 5 sessions and in those sessions she used cupping on my shoulders and back. Kinda pinches but when you are done, you feel soooooo amazing. She moved the cup around and it hurt a bit but I was prepared for it. What it does is get the blood moving around in those areas. I mentioned I purchased one session for my husband as well. He is a runner and has had heal pain for years. He also had a deep tissue massage. She also used stretching techniques and stretched him out. He was so impressed with his service that we will be purchasing a 5 session package for him as well. Her room is very cozy. The bed is heated and the lights are dimmed during the massage along with relaxing music in the background. At the end she was thoughtful enough to provide bottled water on the way out. I cannot say enough positive things about Lisa and the Clinical Massage she is able to provide. I am just very happy I purchased the certificate and gave her a chance.

She is very thorough in sending out email reminders etc about your appointment. One of the emails says that once you come in there is coffee and tea to help yourself to and to not knock or try to open the locked door. It is very clearly laid out when you get there with signs, however some other reviews on her site etc people have said they couldn't figure it out. When you get there just sit down she will come out to get you. Honestly my massage hurt but I think its because I waited so long to have one. That is at no fault to her that part is fully on me, however my two biggest complaints are that I wish she would have used more massage oil because the sheering of our skins together was sometimes not the most pleasant feeling. My second is she does a lot of stretching type things within her massage which I was having troubles relaxing during. I woke up in the middle of the night, the night after my massage and my ankle was stuck out of place and I was in tremendous pain. I finally got it to click back into place but this was not a fun experience. This is not necessarily her fault but in my opinion if someone isn't relaxing enough just forget it and tell them to stretch and work on meditation to learn to relax more. She did tell me these things but after she proceeded to force my body into weird positions. I could tell she was getting frustrated with me not relaxing enough and honestly when you are twisting and turning my body into a pretzel its hard to relax. Overall if you want a deep tissue massage with stretching incorporated this is the place for you. If you just want what I would consider a "spa" massage, then it is not for you.
