I've had a lot of massages by many different massage therapists over the years, since I move a lot…read moreand get massages at least once a month. Peter made me so uncomfortable during my massage. I was fully exposed for most of the massage, with minimal attempt to keep my groin covered. I'm convinced that he rubbed his genitals on my hand at one point, because there was some back and forth rubbing on my hand that did not feel accidental while he breathed super heavy. The massage itself was not a modality I have ever had before; there was no stroking but instead just pressing and holding for long periods of time which did not do much to relax me or loosen up my tight muscles. I definitely won't be back. My massage was a couple months ago and I delayed in writing this review because I convinced myself it was all in my head, but after reading similar reviews I feel it's important to give my experience a voice so other woman are aware of potential risks.

This was June 9th. A week later on June 19th Peter charged my credit card anyways. I tried calling and calling and he only picked up the phone once to basically brush me off and tell me he'd "take care of it". Needless to say he did not, and I am now filing a dispute charge against him with my credit card company. Do NOT come here, it is not worth your time, money, or stress. Never again.

I like to support local, woman-owned businesses rather than chains. So when I found Toni on Google,…read moreI called and she was able to fit me in the next day. Her space is very clean and comfortable, and she's a joy to talk with. She did an amazing job working out my knots and tension!! She really paid attention to my needs and offered great tips on how to avoid getting so many tough knots to begin with. I'll definitely be returning!

My hour message at Wellspring blew my other experience with massage therapy out of the water. As…read moreher private practice, it's small, cozy and quaint. I had come in with some intolerable pain in my shoulders; I had overworked some muscles, tightening up my shoulders and giving me two days of headaches. Not only did I walk away feeling refreshed and pain free, I woke up this morning with no headache, got ready for the day with no headache, and now happily sitting on my computer still feeling loose and refreshed- this never happens. During the massage she was working on my neck and pinpointed the very place I get my worst headaches, the upper right corner of my neck, and proceeded to stretch the area and work on it. Toni was kind and easy to chat with but held a comfortable silence during the massage. Massages never seem to go deep enough for me, but after I asked for it to be harder she went deeper and it was just right. I recommend!

Like so many other folks, I booked online, which was super easy. I didn't bother looking at her…read morereviews, though, before I bought the Groupon. I should have. I couldn't wait. What could be better than a deep tissue massage AND a foot scrub? I planned my whole day around the soonest appointment I could get. I blocked off my own schedule, so I would have no clients today. It was going to be a self-care day. I rushed home from a nice lunch with a friend to plan how I was going to get there. I do not own a car, you see, so I take car2go during the week and rent a car on the weekends. You can't drop a car2go in Roseville, so I had to take the bus from Saint Paul. A 20-minute bus ride, with about 10-minute bike ride in below-freezing weather. All to get to my massage appointment I was so eagerly anticipating. By the time I arrived my fingers were numb and my face was red from the cold. I was SO looking forward to the warmth of a cozy massage table. And on the door, I see a sign (among a bunch of other, unprofessional, handwritten notes taped to the door) that said they had closed early today. I wish I had taken a photo. I never received even so much as a cancellation notice -- or a phone call. I really hate to write a one-star review for a small business, but eff you, Rapha Therapy. A very fundamental part of being a professional is actually showing up for your appointments. I understand life throws occasional curve balls, but if you need to "close early" on a consistent basis -- and since so many people have reviewed that you do, it looks like this is a pattern -- you should probably NOT be doing this work. NOTE: I didn't see inside, but the handwritten notes taped all over the front door screamed "this is a dump" to me. Not a place i would want to get a massage, since the scribbled notes all over the door makes me question not only her ethics, but her sanitary standards too.

I bought a Groupon for a 90-minute massage and 15-minute foot scrub. When I arrived, the therapist…read morewas a bit curt, and wasn't ready (I waited while she tried to print paperwork that she wanted me to fill out). They have signs posted in the office stating that Groupon made an error, and that the foot-scrub is included in the massage time, not an "and" like advertised. I was surprised, but the price was cheap enough I didn't argue it. The music in the massage room was upbeat classical, not very relaxing. The massage itself wasn't amazing, wasn't awful, just average. Except that we ended after 65 minutes. Not cool.
