This is only my second Lower Body Waxing experience but with the amazing care I had here, I am no…read morelonger afraid to get waxed again! My very first waxing experience was so traumatic, I had to research other places on Yelp because in my that experience, I had booked a particular person based on the reviews, and I found out at the end of my session that I got someone else because that person did not introduce herself in the beginning. I also opted for a full bikini wax session, and that lady pressured me to get more hair off more than I had planned for. Green Wave was A MUCH BETTER VIBE!! I was immediately greeted by staff the moment I walked in, and a minute later, my wax technician greeted me and introduced herself as Mariana with a friendly smile. I already started to feel at ease. She gave me an obstetric wipe to use before we got started, which puts me more at ease seeing how careful and meticulous their processes are. I can't say that waxing down there is painless because it's still hurt, but it didn't hurt as bad as my first experience -- I opted for the deep bikini ($35) and she cleaned up very well! She even offered to trim the rest of my hairs. Mariana was very patient with me, even asked if I wanted more hair removed and I did not feel pressured at all! Even after each pull, she applied pressure to dull the pain, and put powder and at the end used a cooling spray. Some of these techniques I noticed were never done in the first place I went to, which was just all pull and pull with no mercy. Thank you Green Wave for a much better experience and although it's a bit of a drive for me, much more worth it! I'd come again!

I was driving passed University one day and noticed this small Dominican salon…read more I immediately called the number to make an appointment as there aren't many good DOMINICAN salons out there. Actually, there are hardly any left. I called and spoke with a Corin, and booked an appointment. When I met her, I instantly felt it would be a great experience. She explained she was washing my hair with a filtered water that she prefers to use and she applied a special Italian conditioner. When she started flow drying my hair I saw that she was confident and anew what she was doing. She blow dried it exactly how I wanted and it came out excellent. Since, then I have frequented her asking over 6 times and will still have many visits to come by in the future. I highly recommend her for anything as she is very versatile and has great hands. Call her, she's one the best in Pembroke Pines!!! Very satisfied.

Melissa makes you feel very comfortable, asking how you feel throughout the service and making sure you have no questions prior to beginning. When I got my milia removed, I had lots of questions and she answered each one. I also love that she asks where you feel the most hair coming from, description of the hair, and checks in on you. Ive done a lot of laser hair removal over the years and have never had such a great experience. The machine she uses doesn't require ultrasound gel, which is what I was looking for. Her machine works way better than others. All laser is slightly painful, but Melissa makes sure you're okay by applying aloe and tapping where she zaps. Lastly, her suite is so cute and clean! It is decorated for each holiday and is absolutely spotless. There's a sense of ease I feel knowing that I'm going to a professional with a clean space.
