I went to the 3 day fine line training at Beautific and it was great. The class never felt too rushed, and there was so much information. I felt comfortable on the 3rd day to take my model, and I had confidence going into the tattoo. The instructors, manager, and all artists in the shop were all friendly and welcoming, and didn't hesitate to answer any questions or help. Had the opportunity to take a tattoo coarse w/Caroline here at Beautific Studios and I have NO complaints! This program taught me a lot about fine line tattooing that I otherwise wouldn't have known if I had taught myself. Our class consisted of about 5 students and class went from about 11am-7pm, 3 days in a row. It was super in depth, well organized and just fun! Caroline always asked if we understood what she was teaching and she even tried her best to individually guide us up to the day we tattoo on real skin! She went through the program so she also understood what we were all feeling leading up to the big day. Both her and Chase were a great help on the last day when we had to finally tattoo our designs on our models! I WAS SWEATING and nervous but they reassured me and we got it done! It came out a lot better than I expected. I appreciate the girls working here, Aileen, the manager was a great help in navigating the start of the program and Alisha for explaining to me over the phone how the class would work. Everyone was sweet and accommodating. Learning came easy here! Overall, this was a fun and uplifting program. You even get your own tattoo machine kit to get you started, along with a manual of everything you need to know about fine line tattoos. I would definitely recommend this program to people who are itching to start something new in their lives. No art background needed although it'd be a PLUSS! read more

Aria is fantastic!!! Not only did she draw all my tattoos by hand, but we spent a ton of time with sizing and placement until it was perfect and I really appreciated that so much! I think sometimes when I'm getting tattoos, I sometimes feel awkward spending a ton of time on placement, but Aria always assured me we can take as long as we need until it's perfect, and I am so grateful for that!!! The tattoos felt awesome, pain was not bad at all and she really went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. She was so positive, and took the time to always make sure I was comfortable which was fantastic. Furthermore, I had just gotten back from a rave so the playlist playing was 10000/10! After my last visit with Chase a couple weeks ago for my vintage cat tattoo of my daughter, I knew I'd be back here soon! I had an appointment with Ruby about 2 weeks from now but saw that she had a last minute opening and I am so glad I was able to take it! She was so flexible and drew up my design and made all the adjustments that I asked for to make sure I was happy with it. I had soo much fun watching her do my tattoo and our little conversations in between. She's super detail/oriented and took her time to make sure everything was perfect, which I really appreciated. I had such a great experience getting my ombre powder brows done by Nana! She was incredibly detailed with her work and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Nana really took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and made sure the shape and color were perfect for me. She also explained the whole process as she was working and clearly went over what to expect during the healing stage. I really appreciated the take-home aftercare kit and instructions--it made everything so easy to follow. I've already received so many compliments on my brows and I absolutely love them! I have had 2 tattoos done by Karissa, and they both have been great experiences! My first tattoo was a flash, and I asked if I could customize it with a script, and she was not only able yo accommodate, but she also gave me options for different fonts. My second tattoo was also a flash, and she was also able to touch up my first tattoo as well. She's very sweet, and has a gentle hand. Hi, I’m Alisha Mektrakarn — founder of Beautific Studios, artist, and educator. I started Beautific because I remember how intimidating it felt to walk into a traditional tattoo shop. The energy never felt quite right for me — it was overwhelming, unwelcoming, and didn’t reflect the kind of experience I wanted as a client. So I created something different: a luxury fine line tattoo studio that feels cozy, inviting, and thoughtfully designed for women — but open to all. Beautific Studios is proudly female-founded and operated, and over 90% of our artists are women. I’m also deeply passionate about education and mentorship. Doing her homework to assure her success and her clients satisfaction. She proceeded to suggest a style and shape and drew it on my brows to show me what it would look like. When I told her I had my own ideas and wanted to look similar to the way my brows were before the over plucking and over shaving and age, she did not necessarily agree with me. But because they're my brows and I explained in detail what I wanted, she went with my request. When she was finished, she was pleased and mentioned she had not done this style but was going to put them as an option to her classic styles. I am completely satisfied and give her my highest ever review. Did I say she is sweet and beautiful inside and out the Vive was very holistic and peaceful. Very much painless

When I walked in for my appointment with Lucas I was blown away by how clean/sterile this place was. I was actually quite shocked it was also a tattoo shop as well just by the beautiful appearance. The receptionist was again super nice and Lucas my piercer (I randomly picked because I didn't know anyone there) ended up being extremely knowledgeable on how to troubleshoot my angry nose piercing that didn't seem to want to behave. He also didn't leave me hanging with just one appointment, he has also been on call via text for me anytime I need help or have any questions. He also has the best vibe too. I would and already have recommended this shop and Lucas to anybody looking for a piercing.

I have yet to find a spot by myself so I just bit the bullet for paying for valet. We came in an hour before closing and were greeted by Samara - who did a wonderful job getting us set up for our spontaneous piercings! We were then directed to Lucas. He did my friend's tragus piercing and my dual lobe piercings. I haven't been pierced since I was a baby, but Lucas made the whole experience real easy. Overall, he's a super chill guy that makes an effort to strike up a conversation and make you feel comfortable about the whole process. Other than the fleeting hot sensation from the initial pinch, the process was pretty painless. Bonus: we got some sick stickers featuring his bull dog Everyone we met at the shop was friendly, knowledgable, and professional. Their website is also a fantastic resource in case you don't ask all of your questions about healing in-person. My friend and I truly felt like we were in great hands so kudos to everyone for setting such an easygoing vibe. I've been back a few times since January for a quick monthly check and to get my piercings downsized recently. As expected, I was met with top-tier customer service, true to the shop's personal brand. I feel confident coming back for future piercings. Lastly, if you're downsizing - I highly recommend making an appointment. I was in and out (no more than 15 minutes), but I was surrounded by 4+ walk ins. It's really easy to do so over their website vs. calling.

If you're looking to start your fine line tattoo journey, here at Beautific is what I'd recommend. I'm 25yo female & a licensed nail technician. I do have an eye for some art already when it comes to nails. I was looking to expand my artistic abilities & take on this course. I have never touched a tattoo machine before and I was very nervous at first. My instructor, Caroline, is the best! She was full of energy, supportive and passionate about her craft as a fine line tattoo artist herself. She did not gatekeep and answered any and all questions I had. Though I do have a little artistic background, there was still a lot to learn! Even when I felt uncertain about something she was always there to help. There are a few things I loved about taking this course. For example I loved how the class was arranged in small group(my group was 4). I really felt like we were all able to get feedback one on one. The thing I love most about this class is the full hands on experience you get. We were able to see Caroline work on a live model which helped a lot with someone like me who learns by watching and feeling! When it came to live model day for me, I really loved how I was able to get immediate feedbacks. Anywhere from "good job" to "let's do more pressure here" or "maybe let's go slower here." I felt comfortable and confident in every step of the way. Moving forward, I feel confident and equipped enough to take on this new adventure in tattooing. I recently took the Fine Line and Tiny Tattoo training here at Beautific Studios, and it was SO worth it! Honestly it is worth the investment. Especially if tattooing is something you want to do. I've been interested in it for over 14 years, and let me tell you, I never thought it would happen for me, but it is! You get your very own machine in your kit to get you started (and it's a good one too!), everything item-wise that's included is very well thought out, and such a nice way of encouraging you to START! Alisha is an amazing teacher and mentor who genuinely cares about her students, and their goals. She relates to you on a personal level, and doesn't hide anything or hold anything back. She's genuinely in YOUR CORNER, which is so helpful when you are starting something new and you're nervous. The best part is, if you decide to apprentice at the shop after your education, you get SO MUCH encouragement and knowledge. You get everyone as a mentor, you can get help, feedback, learn new skills, and she even hold workshops for further education! She also promotes you as an artist on IG, and really helps you start to gain traction. To me, this is VITAL, and makes it a little less daunting to get started since you're not just only on your own. Side note, even though this class is tiny tattoos and line work, she encourages you to explore other styles as well. I know some artists there do realism as well as black work, so it's good to know you aren't limited! Highly recommend taking this course. You will not regret it! I learned so much! read more

I recently had a deeply troubling experience with Alisha the owner As someone who has had their brows done and is frequently featured on their page, I was shocked by their unethical practices. After I commented on social media about the use of a cross-eyed woman's image for promotional purposes, the response I received was inappropriate and unprofessional. Instead of addressing the ethical concerns I raised about representing clients in their best light, I was subjected to a personal attack and an attempt to jeopardize my employment. Additionally, I noticed that their social media page lacks diversity, predominantly showcasing clients of a certain look, which led me to believe they were selectively promoting a certain look. This assumption, combined with the retaliatory behavior I experienced, made me feel that their actions were racially motivated. Compared to other places I've been, where I've experienced a much more diverse and inclusive environment, this was especially disappointing. If they had used my photo in a similar manner, I would have been extremely upset. This behavior not only reflects poorly on the individual but also raises serious questions about the business's values and practices. I expected a constructive dialogue, but instead, I encountered blatant disregard for professional conduct. I do not recommend engaging with this business, as their approach to criticism is retaliatory and unprofessional. read more

I absolutely adore this studio! I was here a month ago for a flash event, the owner Alisha did my tattoo and it turned out amazing! I had such a great experience here I decided to do their Fine line tattoo certification. The processes was so easy. Alisha is so encouraging. It made it easy for me to say YES to this opportunity. My trainer was primarily Caroline -- an absolute angel. She is an amazing teacher, such a fun and professional etiquette, she made the whole experience so much more exciting. What was great about it is that all the artists came up to us and helped us with a lot of the second skin practice and gave us their own tricks and trades. There was NO gatekeeping here. Every artist here is so generous and welcoming. I never once felt discouraged while I was here. If anyone is thinking about getting certified in fine line tattoo training and lives in Orange County or even outside of SoCal, I 1000% encourage you to sign up for this certification training. Over the past month I had recently taken the fine line tattoo course at the studio! I have been into illustration and body art pretty much my entire life, so when I heard about this class through my roommate I was immediately intrigued. Now after taking and completing the course fully, I can say it was definitely worth my time. I feel it lived up to what I had my expectations to and went a bit further into things which I appreciated. The studio is well taken care of and the owner and instructor, Alisha is very nice and accommodating :) She is very knowledgeable about what is being taught and isn't afraid to to jump in and help you when need be. Being an artist prior, I felt I was able to incorporate some of my skills into what I was learning which felt like a huge step into the right direction into what I want to do with my career. My favorite part of the class has to be the in-person hands on experience, being able to practice and be provided with industry grade materials is incredibly important. Moving forward I feel equipped with a better understanding and confidence into tattooing and the artistic industry. I finished my fine line tattoo training at Beautific and I'm honestly on such a high from the experience! It exceeded every expectation I had. From day one, the energy was so welcoming, supportive, and genuinely inspiring. Caroline taught our first two days and she is truly next level. Not only is she insanely talented, but she is soo genuine and cares so much about you understanding the technique and craft. She breaks everything down in a way that makes it feel doable, not overwhelming. She's extremely patient, detailed, and so encouraging, you can tell she wants you to win. The hands-on training was amazing.. Chase and Caroline were so helpful and gave great feedback and advice the entire time. I left feeling confident, prepared, and excited to start this new chapter. I absolutely loved my experience at Beautific Studios! I recently took their 3-day tattoo class, and I'm so grateful I did. Coming from an art background, it felt so exciting being able to reconnect with my creative side while learning a completely new craft. Caroline, Bri, Maqui, and Alisha were all so kind, patient, and helpful throughout the entire course. I just completed the Tiny Tattoo & Fine Line Course (3-day training) and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I've made for my career! Our instructor, Caroline, was absolutely amazing. Her energy was so positive and welcoming from day one. What I appreciated most was how closely she paid attention to each individual student. If anyone was struggling or needed extra help, she was right there -- patient, supportive, and genuinely invested in making sure we understood every step. I loved this course every single step of the way. The hands-on guidance, the attention to detail, and the supportive environment made such a difference in my confidence. I went here to learn how to do tiny tattoos, and the experience was all so welcoming. I felt in those three days i learned a lot, of course as beginner as i am, i still have much to improve, but this class and course is perfect to get you started and well educated. They even let you learn with live demos and live models with kits they supply (even enough to take home to practice with) which is humbling and a very trusting experience that allowed me to excel further into this job. Caroline was our instructor and was so well informed on this job and very inclusive which you need for a first timer. i would honestly take the course just to see her again and learn more under her. Her ways of connecting techniques to stuff you do on your day to day, personally, allowed me to learn the techniques better. everyone needs some sort of examples, Caroline gave those perfectly with her bubbly sweet self. Signed up for the tattoo class, Caroline was the mentor/teacher and she is such a wonderful human being with so much patience, calmness and care about seeing people grow and succeed. She clearly explained everything without it being overwhelming (especially for something that's only 3 days). When we did live models she always checked up on everyone, along with Chase who assisted her she was also very attentive and offered help, tips, advice. Having a creative/design background helped me out but it's so amazing to see other who come from a different career/life background to be able to pick up on this as well. It's very comforting and motivating to see people who were in our shoes be able to get somewhere after taking this course. Chase is amazing! Booking with her is quick and easy -- she answered all of my questions which made me more comfortable with the whole process. She did my first tattoo (flower bouquet) and as soon as I saw the sketch, I was blown away by how perfectly she captured everything I had asked for. A week and a half later I came in for my second tattoo. She is incredibly sweet and patient -- I cannot wait to rebook with her in the future. The studio is clean and the staff are kind and welcoming! UPDATED-- Added Nana's review Nana is wonderful! I'm two weeks post-procedure and love my brows. She really took the time to get the shape just right and paid great attention to detail. Pain-wise, this was super tolerable--about a 2-3/10 for me, especially compared to recent tattoos. The numbing cream helped a lot too. Highly recommend booking if you're thinking about getting your brows done! read more

My friend and I got our first tattoos done together by Chase and she made the experience so chill and easy! I first messaged her on instagram and she replied super fast with lots of details and had very good communication when we were figuring out scheduling details. I also appreciated her letting us both go together in the same session. When we got there, she offered me multiple sizes of the stencil and let me play around with the placement for a bit before putting it on. I was very nervous going into it because I was unsure of how I was going to react to the feeling of getting a tattoo but Chase helped me through it and did a little test line before actually getting started. During the process, she made sure I was doing okay and was very friendly. I had an amazing experience with Chase! Her attention to detail and precision with fine lines is truly unmatched. Every line in my tattoo is flawless, and the design is exactly what I envisioned. Chase took the time to really listen to my ideas and worked with me to make sure all the elements I wanted were perfectly put in place. She sent me texts of her sketches and asked me to tweak them as I pleased and then in the store she made sure the placement was perfect, asking me numerous times if i was happy with it. The Fine Line & Tiny Tattoo course offered at the facility was absolutely wonderful. The whole experience was so supportive and motivating to all aspiring artists who would love to embark on this path as a career. The training sets an extremely solid foundation with hands on training and very detailed lectures of the process and steps toward success. They even provide all the essential tools you'll need to get started (machine, ink, needles, etc.) as well as valuable knowledge (sanitation, pre care, post care, social media content, etc.) Thank you to Caroline for being the best instructor and those artists who were very easy to talk to and learn from. I can't recommend this tattoo training enough. From day one, it was clear that every lesson and every day of the training had been intentionally planned out. I took Alisha's 3 day training session and honestly, it was one of the best decisions I've ever made! At first, I was incredibly scared to even sign up for the class. I didn't have any experience and I wouldn't consider myself really artsy. I had never played around with Procreate and it felt like a lot to take on but after three days I feel super empowered and eager to continue practicing and tattooing. I wouldn't have thought 3 days would be enough to learn everything that it takes to fine line tattoo but Alisha packs in a lot of detail and information in 3 days. The girls at Beautific Studio are incredible -- such good energy, so down-to-earth, and genuinely welcoming. Starting something new can feel intimidating, but Caroline made the whole journey feel easy, comfortable, and fun. I have seen Caroline now twice, and each time she's delivered the most meaningful and detailed work! I first saw her in January and then again in August in Beautific's new studio. The new studio was incredibly welcoming, with lots of natural light, cute decor, and plenty of places to sit while you wait. The front desk staff were also super nice. I was impressed by Caroline's attention to detail, like delivering multiple mock-ups of the design to choose from, ensuring the best size, placement accuracy, even down to the tiny star details. She checked in with me regularly during the service to ensure my comfort, offering water and a few laughs. All in all, I was so happy with the end product, I appreciated the other artists saying hi and complimenting my new art, also. I took the fine line/tiny tattoo training course and I'm very happy w my overall experience. The training course included a small group of us, which I loved bc it was made me feel more comfortable asking questions and was able to get hands on guidance/support. It is a two-day training course so it's much more affordable unlike other training courses in OC, and I'd highly recommend this training to anyone who prefers a faster pace. Alisha, who was our mentor and a literal girl boss, is really genuine and I appreciated her honest style of mentoring. Also, Tuco the cutest most perfect dog was the cherry on top of my whole experience. After looking at the shop and their artists' work on Instagram, I decided to reach out to Dannon. I loved her style and several of her pieces spoke to me! I wanted a cute snake with a cowboy hat on, and Dannon nailed it. It was exactly the vibe I was going for and turned out great! The shop is in downtown Santa Ana, it's woman owned, and has some great artists that have space there. Great vibe, very friendly. One of my third grade students from last year gave me a farewell card that I was completely captivated with. This is the work of an eight year old boy, mind you. Today, Joe made it permanent for me and he nailed it. Perfectly The pictures tell the story. Joe is one of the owners of Bemidji's newest tattoo shop, Cryptid Tattoos. The shop is fantastic. Spacious, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. And at a convenient, quiet spot on the edge of downtown B-town. Cryptid has everything you'd like a tattoo shop to have. that can't be said for all of them. Total class. it's a beautiful thing he and his partner are doing for the Bemidji inked. I was extremely impressed with his portfolio. I haven't gotten a tattoo for over 10 years so I wanted to make sure I find a good one AND who had done a Kobe tattoo before AND who's local!!! Tony fits every categories!! I had to wait 2 months to get an appt with him because he was all booked up, that tells me he is good!!!! The outside of the shop looks pretty small, but when you walk inside, it looks like a paradise!! It's nice and clean and very modern. There are 2 small seats and a bench on the right side when you walked in. They have 6 tattoo stations, 3 on each side, and one eyebrow station at the back. This place is NICE!! I was at the shop for 6hrs from 11am-5pm. Tony greeted me when I walked in, then we went over all the details for my tattoo, he never rush his work, he is very patience and make sure everything is perfect before he starts the inking. We were suppose to do my tattoo in 2 sessions but we actually did it in one!! I m very satisfied with his work and I would DEFINITELY get another tattoo with him in the future!!!
