They had two people working nails and had a lot of customers that day so it's understandable that they took almost 5 hours from the time we got there till the time we got done. Since we were walk in got there around 2 pm on a Friday and then were told to come back around 4 pm which was fine, then we came back and waited until 5:20 pm to get seated and started, I was with a group of my self and my two sisters so it's fine that we were last. The actual process of doing the nails was great they listened to our preferences on length and shape of our nails. The quality of prepping the nails was excellent however they used the electric sander on the bare nails which kind stung and they did nick some of my cuticles with it causing some skin damage which I wasn't happy with but it heals back. I would not recommend this nail salon. (Friday afternoon) I made an appointment & arrived a few minutes early. The girl looked up and asked what I needed. I told her I had an appointment for a fill & pedicure & gave her the time set. She said nothing & just went back to her work, I waited 35 minutes with no added communication, then she asked me to pick a color & sit an an empty station. I asked how long, no answer. I waited another 15 min with no communication. I walked out. Like in previous reviews, the front door was open with no A/C on & I was batting flies the whole time I was there. The can't afford A/C? I don't think I can come here anymore, the service is just so subpar. I'm never confident the tools are clean and they don't do a thorough pedicure (meaning not removing the dead skin under the nail bed). They did gel when I didn't ask for it (and charged me for it). Every time, I have to ask them to make the French tip line thinner because it gets caked on. And when the weather is nice they love to have the door open so you get to swat flies away during your pedicure. Super relaxing. I can't imagine having a manicure and not being able to shoo the flies away. read more

This was the WORST pedicure I've ever experienced! I am not usually one to write a review, but this was really upsetting! The man who did the majority of it, was so disinterested in providing a service, much less a quality one. He was more interested in making sure they could close at 7, even though the door and internet says they are open until 8pm. I had gel polish on. his removal was so careless! I flinched so many times and it didn't seem to phase him. one nail was ground so far, it chipped the next day it was so thin. I was never asked what pedicure I wanted from the 3 options. The "soothing" level pedicure, which is the lowest option didn't include half of what was described on the menu. The water was cold. When I told him, he added one shot of hot water which did nothing. it was supposed to have minerals in the water but I never saw him add anything. The massage was laughable. He stared out the window for 30-45 seconds at a time while he moved his hand on the same spot the whole time with what seems like dish soap?? The lotion massage??? Literally 30 seconds on each leg, zero massage. I had a different person paint my toes with regular polish. when she was done, she was leading me to the dryer station and as I walked by the front desk, he said, "you can go, just be careful". NEVER AGAIN will I go to Beauti Nail in Owatonna, MN. I would never recommend them to anyone. I'm sure there are other good staff there, but he was awful! what a waste of $38 and 30 minutes of my time. read more

Look no further! I highly recommend beauti nails! I was a bit apprehensive initially since all of the reviews were several years old but I decide to give it a try! As a disclaimer, I have only been here once but it was a lovely experience. The nail technician I had was very attentive to detail all while being speedy and efficient! She made sure the acrylic was smooth and even during application (which needed to be fixed from the previous fill I got at a DIFFERENT salon). She was gentle with the drill, she was extremely polite and receptive of my requests (I.e. she didn't badger me about the length I wanted, color I chose, etc.), she nailed the coffin shape on a medium length nail, which in my experience, has been difficult for some to master. She made sure the lateral nails were fully covered in polish which again has been an issue I have encouraged quite frequently (again, at different salons). She trimmed and manicured my nails to perfection and filled the underside of the acrylic nail as to avoid a jagged texture during day to day life. I was in and out in less than 40 minutes after calling ahead. They were fantastic. I highly recommend trying beauti nails for your next manicure! read more

Nice interior, quite clean and no toxic fumes. My nail technician was friendly and very thorough. She used some kind of a sanding tool on the front of all my nails, which was a little uncomfortable and a couple of my nails ended up a bit ragged. But all things considered, I would totally go back. I visited around noon on a weekday and I was able to walk in with no wait. The shop seems to have regular loyal clientele judging from the customers who came in after me. read more

I like to think that there's great customer service wherever I go because it's just common courtesy to treat your customers with respect considering that you're paying the workers but there was POOR customer service. I set an appointment and was told to come back at a specific time. I actually got back earlier and when I asked when I'd be getting my nails done, they asked me to wait another 30 minutes. I wouldn't recommend this place to friends or even my worst enemy and hope the service gets better. read more
