This was the WORST massage experience I have ever had!! From the time I initially called for an appointment to the warm bottle of water handed to me as I walked out! I called right after opening and had to leave a message. I was called back relatively quickly but whoever called did not leave any type of message. I was driving and noticed the call after I parked and called back. I asked for an appointment around 11-1115 and I was told I could come at 10. I repeated that I could not come until 11-1115, again she said 10. I again said I was not available until later. Finally she told me to come at 11-1115. At no time did she say her name. When I walked in I was asked if I had an appointment, I said yes, I had called earlier. The gal never introduced herself or asked my name. She told me to pay ahead of time. The posted price for an hour is $70, but my card was charged $73. There was no notice that said there was an additional charge when paying with a card. I was pointed to a room and she walked away. The room was cool, there was thin sheet on the table and a small towel at the foot of the table. As she had just walked away, I guessed I should get under the sheet. She came back and rudely told me that was wrong, I was suppose to cover with the small towel. I am a small person and the towel did not cover me at all. She never did an intake or ask about problem areas. She started rubbing my neck without any lotion or oil. After a few minutes she did start using something. She dripped cold oil or lotion on my back. My lower back is very tender, it is not a muscle tenderness, just tender to touch. She started rubbing there and I asked her not to as it hurt. She asked why it hurt and I said I did not know, but it was not muscular. She continued to rub my lower back, my body language was pretty clear that I did not like it. I told her several times not to rub there and that it hurt. I finally had to put my hands on my lower back to block her from touching me. I have never looked forward to the end of massage, but I did that day. Because of her continued rubbing of my lower back I needed ice packs and ibuprofen for several days. Again, this was not muscular and now my back was bruised and even more tender than usual. At one point someone walked in and she just walked out of the room, did not excuse herself or apologize or explain herself. Just walked out. She walked out a second time and was gone for quite a while, I was not sure if I should get up and dressed or what. She finally came back and again did not explain or excuse herself. I do understand she was there alone and had to deal with walk ins but she should have let me know what was happening. Finally, the massage ended and she just said "done" and walked out.
