Came here on our way to Montreal to break up the drive a bit. What a cool stop off of the highway. The staff was very friendly and their outdoor patio is extremely inviting with the vines growing all over it. Our daughter loved the tractors and that she was allowed to play on them. Beer selection was pretty good, though I was hoping for something darker. Their artwork on the beer labels is pretty good, made it pretty tempting to buy a shirt. We got an amber and a Juiced AF. Both were quite good, perfect for the warm weather. I definitely would come back. read more

Beau's Brewing - Breweries Near Me - Vankleek Hill, Ontario

Came here after a friend from the area recommended it . The have about 10 different options on tap at any given time with about half of them being sours . My favorite was the invisible ink with was a clementine and lemon flavored sour and about 7abv. It was tart and yet balanced compared to the other options . I was bummed that they ran out of bottles and only had kegs left in stock . The barista was super friendly and knowledgeable. I loved that they had scrunchies and free feminine supplies in the bathroom . 5/5 read more

Loved the experience at Beau's! Been a fan of their beer since the first time I tried it years ago and was thrilled to be able to check it out the brewery even during COVID. Not everything was open but there was beer and merchandise for purchase inside the store. Due to COVID I assume things have changed a bit but there was beer tastings available outside plus beer to drink on their outdoor seating. There a limited menu of food available as well but mostly we came here for the beer. My fave is still Lug Tread! People here were super friendly and kind. Followed protocol and everywhere wore a mask when needed. I highly recommend coming here to check it out if you're a fan! We ended up with some beer, tshirts (on sale) and a sweater as well. Thanks for such a nice experience! read more

Best Brewery. I am not a beer person but I tried the Pineapple Peach sample and I could smell the flavor was awesome fragrant. Also tried the Nordic Pale Ale it had the same powerful fragrance taste to it. Delightful charming ladies at the tap with a quick service. I really wanted to try the veggie wrap but they were all out of it but the Apple Cider from Sobr was good and also the non veg sandwich looked good. Great place to go on Saturdays where they have Live music playing. Had a lovely country vibe seating outside with tractors parked around. read more

Free samples of 8-10 different drafts. Free tours of the brewery which run every 20-30 minutes. Tour only lasts about 10 minutes unless you're annoying and ask too many questions. Free wifi. Free parking. Yes, everything is free, unless you want to pay for beer to take with you of course. I caved and bought 8 1 liter bottles for just over $43 with tax. Not bad at all. All tips go to charity. read more

Beau's Brewing Company always intrigued me with their unique packaging, branding, brewing process (all natural) and even their beer label designs. All these catchy names and bold colours and cartoonish made Beau's one of the more interesting local craft beer around town. And it has participate in various beer fest and tap takeover events I've been too! Free Sampling at the brewery. They have almost all their beers on taps for sampling. And of course you can also pick up a bottles or 2 to go with their other logo's merchandise. Of course Beau's is not a small player in any sense in the local craft beer scene. If you can find their beers in most of the LCBO in Ontario and even a lot of bars carries their flagship Lug Tread on tap or in bottles. Another interesting initiative is the Greener Futures Project Barrel-Aged Beer Club. Exclusive, Members-Only Beer. For $125 get member gets ten barrel-aged beers which is release once a month from Jan-Oct which one cannot get anywhere else. You can pick up the beers either from their brewery or in Toronto. This is towards funding for Beau's to be totally sustainable brewery. I kind of wish I live in Ottawa area as Beau's even do Home delivery for a Flat Rate of $8! I don't even need to go out in the Cold to pick up your beer! Maybe one day my local breweries would be doing that too?! read more

This company is amazing. Went with my class on a guided tour; the staff is knowledgable and very friendly. And lots of samples to try! I'm not a big drinker and very inexperienced when it comes to beer, but Beau's has a large variety of unique products and the staff (especially Lea) were very kind in guiding us through the nuances of each type. I tried a sour beer for the first time, something I'd never heard of before, and it was incredible. I was never a big fan of beer prior to this, but this was a very eye opening experience and I may be a convert :) Decor is also very cute and I love the art designs on their bottles and merchandise (which is reasonably priced). read more

This is my favorite brewery! Stop by on your way to Montreal or make the trip to Vankleek Hill and you won't be disappointed. We always leave with a few beers and tons of swag. I love their t-shirts and hoodies and it would be great if they had more women's clothing. The samples and tours are free, make sure to plan to spend a few hours or bring a designated driver. In the summer they open up the patio and have sandwiches available for purchase. The craft beers are a bit pricey but Beau's has created some of my favorite beers and I haven't found another brewery in town that has even come close. I have worked with this brewery through my event planning company and they are such a delight to work with. Beau's All Natural Brewing Co. has several charitable initiatives and it feels good supporting a local company that gives back and is propelling the Ontario craft beer market. Last year we purchased their Greener Futures membership where you receive 1 unique barrel aged beer per month. My boyfriend is a beer snob and would wait by the door on delivery days. He loved every beer that he received and would definitely consider next year's subscription. If you're not a fan of beer I suggest you try Beau's because just maybe you haven't tried really good beer. read more

Beau's Brewing - Beau's now has cans! - Breweries Near Me - Vankleek Hill, Ontario

I'm flabbergasted that Beau's isn't crawling with golden reviews. This place is a staple. For the last few years my family and I make a point of having a roadtrip about once a season to Beau's. We've done it all: terrasse season, the tasting room, Oktoberfest, even the brewery tour. Above all, I think the key things about Beau's is A) the quality product and B) the terrific staff. Beyond that they make things fun, you know? Their marketing is top notch (particularly for Canadian microbrewery standards) and they keep their heart and soul in what they do. Example: years ago they were confronted with a rumour that they were being bought out by a large beer company- they attacked the whispers and any threat by turning the company into worker-owned. I like places that stand by the integrity of their product and refuse being bought out; I also love a place that puts the profits back into the pockets of the people putting the most work in. No place is perfect: sometimes I do find the prices steep for the bottles, that being said, no place is perfect but Beau's comes damn close. read more

Beau's Brewing - Oh Yeah! - Breweries Near Me - Vankleek Hill, Ontario

This craft brewery is not short on creative. I am currently enjoying "two weeks notice". One of the limited edition wild oats series. No. 12. It is a strong beer. 6.0. German porter. It is an incredible full-bodied beer with no "what-is-that?" Taste. This is a great treat if you forget your lunch. It will keep you going til dinner. If you enjoy the stronger, darker beers, you cannot miss out on this. I guarantee you will be happy. Of course, for your everyday enjoyment and the crowd pleaser, lug tread is a winner. You and your friends will be loving the on-point flavours of this incredibly popular lagered ale. Look for them, ask for them, they are the best Ontario has to offer. read more

Well...we do love going here. The company is fan. Marketing fab. Food great...but in the last bit I have been underwhelmed by the new choices. I stupidly bought a very expensive casked beer without trying it and it was undrinkable. Yeasty..i tossed it. I'll stick to the tried and tried and go there for the fun atmosphere read more

Beau's Brewing - Breweries Near Me - Vankleek Hill, Ontario

500 Kilometers. That's how far I drove to see this mythical brewery in Vankleek Hill. It does exist! Vankleek Hill that is, I thought all these years Beau's just made up a fake town so nobody can find their hidden headquarters and the secret to their Ontario success. If you don't believe me, you can go there to see for yourself. The tractor logo on their beers, you can see the real thing if you're into tractors that belong in a museum. A nonchalant building that holds within it tanks, hoppers and vats also holds a tasting area. If you're not thirsty by now at least you need a washroom break, I suggest you do both. Beers, yes the beers. Spring Water and Certified Organic Malts & Hops. That sounds vegan friendly to me, so whether you're carnivore, vegetarian, this -ian, that -ian, you can freely enjoy this without a second thought. I'm not their biggest fan of the flagship Lug-Tread but with so many offerings year round, I quite enjoyed Dunkel Buck, Farm Table: Helles, Night Marzen, Festivale, Festival Plus, Opa's Gose, Strong Patrick and a few others. To me, a relatively new beer drinker Beau's is the local craft brewery that sold in LCBO en masse that gave me an opportunity to drink beer styles I've never heard of and expanded my knowledge beyond the typical brands most still see in their franchise restaurants today. Beau's kept things interesting all these years and it's without a doubt a well known brand in Ontario and beyond, a brewery that other's speak of when they compare local craft beers. Congratulations on becoming Canada's largest craft producer of organic beer. read more

I am a home brewer so I make it point to visit every brewery I can when traveling. We visited Beau's yesterday. Sampled their signature Lug Tread, 6.4% IPA and the farmhouse saison. All excellent beers. The lug tread is an excellent "transition " beer for those not familiar with craft beer. The IPA was very hop forward, very little maltiness. The saison was kettle soured and very refreshing. My one critical comment is about the picnic area. Absolutely no shade. Hard on the patrons, and the beer was getting skunked before I finished it. The hops growing are nice idea, but please put some shade in place. I know my guest will never come back until that is taken care of. read more

Absolutely fantastic brewery just an hour away from Ottawa. Friendly staff, and a great selection of beer and merchandise. Samples are free at the bar so feel free to try everything you can before you pick some up. Just make sure you have a designated driver! While not all their beers are adventurous enough for my tastes, and the prices are a lot higher than most craft beers, Beau's makes up for it in many ways. They are an environmentally friendly co-op, they have incredible community involvement, and they support many charitable endeavors. They've helped the craft beer scene to grow in the region more than anyone else, and I can feel good about supporting them. So take a stop in, take a tour, have some samples, pick up a 4-pack, and maybe a shirt and a pair of sunglasses. P.S. pick up some of their Greener Futures bottles if they still have them on-hand. These comprise a limited selection of phenomenal barrel aged beers which differ a fair bit from their usual offerings. read more

The trail of ants at the door should have been my first and only warning necessary. Alas I decided to try and give them the benefit of the doubt. But when I saw ants crawling on the counter and glasses too, I couldn't even say anything to the poor guy behind the counter. I just looked down at the ants and he didn't even acknowledge they were there. I walked out and decided to go elsewhere. Who needs ants in your beer? read more

Beer tasting! Yum! Organic and family run, they welcome you with smiles and eagerness to fill your brain with brewing goodness. I got to taste 10 beers and learned a whole lot about them. In the end, I found my favourites were the Lug Tread lagered ale and their Octobock. Unfortunately, Octobock is only sold by the glass while there or if you buy their mixpack. However, I wasn't a huge fan of the other 3 that came in that mixpack, so I stuck with the Lug Tread. I bought 4x600ml for a total of $20 -- OH HAPPY DAYS! For all you Montrealers, this place isn't a far drive and is totally worth it. read more

How can you not like Beau's? This weekend was my 3rd (or was it 4th?)visit to the brewery, and like each previous visit, you didn't disappoint. Travelling by chartered bus was a great way to go, so that I could sample all the great beers and not have to worry about getting home. Always a big fan of new beers tastes. The chef in the corner whipped up some tasty snacks, there was a great tour, and a stein holding challenge as well. It made for a fun afternoon. Love your beers. Love your graphics on the bottles and swag. Staff is always fun and entertaining, and love that you give so much back to the community. read more

I had a great experience here. Came here on a sun afternoon, it was pretty busy given it was labour day long wknd. Tours (free) run about every 30 mins, and they give out a lot of free samples of their beers whether you choose to do their tour or not (at least 6 on tap and a few more on request). They also have a great store, with lots of t-shirts, mugs, and other paraphernalia. I found out they also have an online store, which is helpful, because I want to purchase a few more t-shirts after I left. There's a patio that services food and drinks outside, if you have a hankering for some food. If you have time and you like beer, I'd highly recommend you stop by this brewery, as it is one of the better run breweries I've seen around. read more

I looove this beer and the people behind it. There Lugtread, Nordic Pale Ale and Weiss O'Latern are delicious. The things they do for the community are amazing, they support local arts and raise funds for hospitals. There Oktoberfest festival is a blast, they have amazing games like keg toss (height and length), sac race and sausage eating contest. The live bands and dancers are a joy to experience. Lastly, there merchandise is amazing, I have collection of there mugs from Okterfest (the art each year changes and they are beautiful), their t-shirts, hoodies and toques are wonderful. Beau's beer is all around WUNDERBAR! read more

Brought my spouse here for his birthday it's his favorite brewery. The staff right away were so courteous. When I told them this was his birthday trip they offered us free beers and gave us a glass. The tour was short but very informative the staff are very knowledgeable. Emily the sales lady was so nice, helped us a ton. Our experience here was more than expected. I am so thrilled that they turn this visit from awesome to amazing. I can't express how happy I am with this experience... and all the beer is great so words from my spouse this is a 7 star. read more

I receive a box of Beau's mix pack of beer as a gift. I opened it not knowing anything about the beer and was curious about the aroma and undeniable uniqueness it had. I expected something heavy with an aftertaste that wouldn't work. Was I wrong. All 4 beer were so delightfully interesting and delicious. read more

Beau's is a great brand. Their beers are good and they're always coming out with new and interesting variations. Their brewery offers complimentary tours and tastings. And my personal favorite thing, their Oktoberfest, is such an amazing event and a definite must for any beer enthusiast. They have sooo much great, varied and well priced beer and food. The event itself is well set up so there were no long lines despite the number of people and the atmosphere was just great, totally upbeat and no one getting too drunk so as to ruin other peoples' times (something I was worried about, as I've seen it happen at non alcohol based events). There were lots of varied activities (carnival style games, beer and cheese tastings, concerts, etc). And I really love their focus on highlighting local/Canadian greatness from the food to the music. Even their staff is great and really focused on customer satisfaction. I cannot gush enough about how much I love Beau's, they're definitely a brand worth supporting! read more
