As you would expect, its all clean, well maintained but unless you are used to it, it was a bit confusing, signs weren't brilliant in large crowds. Theres plenty of parking and entrances taking you into the lovely market town of Banbury. Recommended for your weekend browsing!!!

We just happened to notice it yesterday as we went for lunch at the Winery nearby (did I say our favorite restaurant in the region?!?!) Today we stopped by to have a browse on a beautiful sunny day. The area is lovely, seems to be a reasonable amount of parking nearby. It is basically an extensive, light and airy shopping arcade. Many wonderful shops like Marks and Spencer's (including their wonderful Food Hall), various clothes stores such as Primark but many upmarket ones too, WHSmiths, Boots, and so much more - eating places galore for pastries, coffee and snacks. Good experience, loved it - we WILL be back very soon (next week we are planning). Rain or shine (since it is all covered) this is a real shopping gem!

Springfields is a smart and modern shopping centre on the outskirts of Spalding…read more I have visited it many times but there are no variety of stores. When Springfields Shopping Centre was built, it could only house retailers selling older discounted stock. It's a great place if you love clothes and shoes, but apart from that, it has nothing more to offer. Several of the eating places (Burger King, Fresh, Ice Cream Kiosk) have closed down. The Garden Centre Restaurant remains but can be a bit expensive. The Gardner Arms has changed management and it's service altered for the worse. That was a while ago now so it may have improved. To conclude. Springfields is great to buy clothes and shoes from. It is not the place to browse for passtime or a day out.

Fosse Park is large out of town retail park close to Leicester. It is easily accessible from the M1…read moreand M69 motorways or about 15 minutes from Leicester city center. I worked in the Fosse Park Next for nearly 2 years so I know the place very well. There are about 20 large clothes stores including M&S, Next, River Island and plenty of electrical and home stores as well as a large Asda. Parking is free, but at busy times it can be difficult to find a space. At Christmas and sale times people can be seen abandoning their cars on the approach roads to the park! In all well worth a visit if you dont want the hassle of the city center, with all the shops you will need.

Fosse Park is an out of town shopping park close to the M69 and M1 making it accessible to get to…read more There is a large 24 hour Asda store with a large car park but be aware that it does get really busy, especially at weekends. There is also an Asda Petrol station with pay at pump and a carwash. In the main area of Fosse Park there are quite a good range for of shops like Dorothy Perkins, BHS, GAP, Monsoon, Boots, Marks and spencer. The opening hours are good and on Sundays most shops there don't close until 5pm which is gretat There is also quite a large food court with a McDonals, KFC, Pizza Hut, Druckers, sandwich bar etc but it gets really busy and you will struggle to get a table sometimes. The large carpark gets very full up at the weekend so avoid peak times. On the plus side, the car park is free. Cross the road near BHS and you get to the furniture/electrical part of Fosse Park where you will find shops like PC World, Argos, Harveys. You can spend a good day at Fosse Park without heading into Leicester city centre and having the expense of car parking.

Barton Watermill: a shopping experience set into a mini (and historic) covered villa, attached to a…read morehistoric watermill. The building itself boasts a huge and historic watermill outside that used to function a few hundred years ago. The inside has now transformed into a variety of mini shops: barbershop, book shop, bridal shop, antique shops, and a garden center. There's also a cafe and tea spot. You never know what you'll find. If you have a spare 30 minutes and are in the area, stop by to walk around and smell the historic smells, learn about the watermill, and continue on your way. Tip: there were lots of books here for only £1. That's a win in my BOOK.

The market centre is home to the largest covered market in Europe, by that I mean it has a roof..no…read moresides. Then again it is a real find as markets are rapidly vanishing all over the country. So you can browse and bargain in comfort. There are over 300 stalls here, selling everything from fresh fruit and veg, textiles, fish, cheese and vast collections of 'stuff', so you are sure to find something you like. The market has a 700 year old tradition for fine quality, and I would recommend the Red Leicester cheeses, the Melton Mowbray pies (I am told are wonderful) and all the fruit and veg seems fresh and is sold off cheaply at the end of the day. For football fans go to Gary Linekers Dad. Not the name of the stall, but Gary Linekers family have run a fruit and vegetable stall here for a fair few years. Aptly called 'Linekers Fruit and Veg stall', come here to buy fresh products and also to pay your respects to Gary's daddy. A few bric a brac stalls have now crept in..you may find that wonderful find but I doubt it. Some wonderful fabric stalls selling really well priced furnishing and clothing fabrics..often as cheap as wholesale. With over 300 stalls, everyday the market offers a variety of fresh produce and bargains.

Next one down there is Adams, ELC, O2 Shop, 3 Shop, Vodafone, and a few other shops and on the bottom there is New Look, Primark, Sweet shop, Superdrug and a few other little shops They dont have the best of shops in there but it is handy to go in sometimes if its raining or you need a couple of shops instead of trapsing across the high st to different ends of town to get to the other shops of the same company in the city centre. It is a nice clean spacious shopping centre.

Although there have been many empty units in the center for some time, It has recently seen more shops open in the center. There is a large security team for such a small center who seem to think that they are gods and do nothing other than stand in the enterance flirting with ladies. Primark, ELC, Top shop, New look, 3, O2, la senza, bay, clintons and the gift company are just a few of the shops in here. The center itself is bright and clean, nicely decorated. I did notice they had their christmas decorations up far too long. The enterance from the high street can be very slippy when wet. Having almost fallen on my bum several times I know this from experience.
