Right before my wedding to my beautiful amazing bride, we had trouble finding enough of a specific Champagne for our wedding reception. Finally, I got in touch with them about 1 week before. We were told that they had 10 in stock and should be able to order the remaining amount before the wedding day. As the week came to an end, their shipment still had not arrived. Now here's where it gets great!!!! Hector the Store Manager took it upon himself the day before the wedding to drive all across the IE to the 3 nearest stores (which are as far as Riverside and Rancho Cucamonga) to find 10 more bottles and have them there for pick up the same day. Additionally, everything was kept in cold storage while waiting for me to arrive. There icing on the cake.... there was a major discount applied, so half of the bottles were only 5 cents each. Wow!!!! Such amazing customer service. That is virtually unheard of in the modern world.

I spoke with Hector, he immediately set my fiance and I up for a private tasting, we were able to try some reds, white and even champagne. During the tasting/consultation, we went over all the detail we didnt think about. Ex. Delivery, Champagne toast, cocktails options, mixers, garnishes, kegs, the quantity we needed for our guests. I told Hector that I didnt live nearby and I would have trouble coming in to pay for my order. The team was able to create an invoice with a payment link to my email. It was a huge weight off my shoulders not having to worry about this part of the wedding and everything on my order was delivered on time for my big day.

Produce has consistently been good quality, shelves stay neatly stocked. The endcaps are always good for inspiration-- I definitely fall prey to those impulse buys. Lol For now it basically has its own parking lot, which is a nice change from most TJs locations where people are circling for a spot like vultures. Spaces are nice and wide, which is great for all the giant trucks in Yucaipa. :-) Fingers crossed that the parking situation stays good! My only gripe is that a few times the younger staff work ethic at this location has seemed a little below the normal TJs standard. Ex: During a rush, I'm used to seeing available staff head to the registers to ring people up and bag their groceries so the lines go quickly and don't back up. I've been in a few times where that hasn't happened and it feels weird waiting in a longer line at TJs. By and large though, the staff is great. They'd be A++ at Albertsons but I hold TJs staff to a higher standard. So not *really* an issue, just me being fussy.

Building took place early last year and my wife was tipped off by one of the Panera workers that the ultimate final form would be a Trader Joe's (and a shopping mall with a chicken joint and a Kaiser in the back). Today, it felt surreal walking in the store. It is the traditional Trader Joe's offering Speculoos, everything but the bagel snacks, and other delectable unique treats. This store seems extra spacious. Even though there wasn't the traditional murals and decor, this Trader Joe's is STILL AMAZING. Everyone was also super friendly and said hello with a bright smile! There were a lot of people but it was quite spacious with ample parking. Unfortunately, my bank account will take a toll with all the snacks I bought today.

Not bad for a first time event!…read more Easy to navigate, a variety of vendors, new, old and re-purposed. Classic cars, vintage garb and a stage with music. With a decor of cassettes tapes lining the backdrop. Simple but puts you in a familiar place but way back. My favorite booth by Road Trip seemed almost more of an art experience in itself, than a destination, picnic baskets, blankets, and pie. Some other favorites are the custom suits and the earrings made from bathing suits and they are waterproof! The VW Van and cars were fab and fitting for the day, the one side silver, one side gold marijauna earrings were a crack up and we picked up an acid dyed fedora from the 70's for my husband. And he hates vintage shopping. What a fun find. I think we missed the vinyl. They may have been playing it vs selling it. If you wanted you could pay $8 and make a macrame key chain on-site. And for $60 get a VIP ticket for Peltzer wine, a cocktail bar, a lunch ticket and a private lounge area with tents for shelter. All could attend free. The market offers amazing food trucks, fun photo backdrops, music, and even a VIP area that you can purchase tickets to before the event. Definitely plan to come early, chill, and bring your spending money because there are so many amazing vintage goodies. Although most of it is clothing, there are definitely home goods, kids items, and all kinds of other accessories too. The entire vibe is just so cool and retro. Stoked to have this event in our little town!
