We had a reservation, the hostess was friendly, we were seated right in front the stage. Our server was great. Friendly and full of conversation. I ordered the avocado toast with egg over medium and they were cooked perfectly. The taste was good and the bread was fluffy. My husband ordered the omelet which came with potato wedges and he ordered a side of cheesy grits. There was a problem with the grits, not having the cheese and not hot (warm) and the wedges were almost cold. They were delicious with whatever the seasoning and butter sauce was. I give them a 5 star because they didn't hesitate to get the order corrected. Plus the wedges that were given as the correction, came in a bowl. The wedges that came with the omelet was only about 5 or 6 at the most. I got a birthday dessert which was a warm brownie with ice cream and caramel drizzle. This was really yummy I did order a mocktail, I showed a picture of something I had before and they did a good job of being creative. The artist was really good that day, enjoyed her voice and her songs. Not my usual music but I can vibe with most music and we enjoyed her.

I went nuts and had the Presidential Platter of crab claws and soft shell crabs. Plus the escargot as appetizers. It was all delicious. I tried the Sisters of the Sea entree, and it was good, not outstanding. But the Praline Sundae for dessert was perfect. I'm in town for a week and I feel like I'll end up back here again before I leave.

First off, our waitress was a delight and properly trained. She did a great job and was helpful in answering our questions. We started with apps of the truffle fries and the brussels. The brussels were delish; the fries were tasty but they were standard thin-cut frozen kind, and though they did have a nice flavor of truffle and a snowing of parm, they didn't taste like they were fried in truffle oil but it was spritz on after the fry. They were good, just seemed to employ shortcuts. For heavier apps we ordered the baby lamb chops... I make lamb chops at home and they're amazing; when dining out it's always hit or miss. There's a fat that lamb has that if not trimmed off it gives off a very off-putting flavor. These had that flavor and I was so disappointed. And if you see my pic of the dish, I'm not sure what was happening with the sauce sloshed all over the rim of the dish. On another note, my hubs ordered oysters and said were delish. Moving on... I chose trout topped with lump crab which was on par with other places I've had it. And we also ordered wine, which I'll note for anyone interested that the bottles are priced exactly double than if you buy it at the store. I expect there to be a mark up, but just know what to expect. Combined, it was a delightful meal in a beautiful setting with a menu and presentation that like feels they strive to keep old school finer dining alive and overall we enjoyed experiencing it even with the minor downsides of some of the dishes we had. The stars reflect my review weighing of the atmosphere, service, menu variety, quality, and price.

Beau Rivage Resort & Casino…read more Some places try to impress you. This place doesn't try it just is. Right on the Gulf, standing tall like it owns the coastline (because honestly, it kind of does), this is the spot you go when you want to look good, feel sharp, and remind yourself what a real resort feels like. Clean, polished, upscale marble, light, and just enough swagger to let you know you're not in an average casino. It's not the place chasing you down with drinks every five minutes. Nah this is slower, intentional. The kind of place where the glass is heavy, the pour is right, and the whole room feels like it's got a reputation to uphold. You come here to impress or to be impressed. Now let me give you a glimpse of why this place stuck with me I'm deep into the night. Drinks in, friends around, cards and machines calling my name. Next thing I know, I've burned through my cash. Gone. Down to nothing. I'm standing there with that look like, well... that was fun while it lasted. Borrow a couple bucks I'll get you back," you know the line. Last dollar goes in. Machine starts spinning... slow... dragging it out like it knows something I don't. Then cha-ching. Lights. Noise. That beautiful, ridiculous ringing that doesn't stop. Just keeps going. People turning their heads. I'm standing there like I don't even belong in my own moment. $5,800. Just like that. I've never been the guy who wins but that night? I was that guy. Stayed up till the sun came creeping in, riding that wave, laughing like a fool, paying people back and then some. The kind of night you don't forget and the kind of place that makes it possible. That's Beau Rivage. It's not loud about it. It doesn't have to be. It's the full package restaurants, atmosphere, service, the whole experience wrapped up in one clean, high-end operation. If you want cheap thrills, look elsewhere. If you want the best all-around resort in Biloxi the one with the reputation, the look, and the stories to back it up This is the one.

On the negative side, we had to wait three hours to get our room after checking in. The first room we were given wasn't even ready when we went up to the 25th floor, so we had to go back down to the check-in counter to request another room. The room we eventually got had a noisy ventilation system running all the time. Even when I turned off the air conditioning, the annoying noise was still there, which made it difficult to relax.

We did the VIP upstairs. I liked the description of the best seats in the house. A bar and bathrooms plus a server upstairs. It is tight up there and I only saw 1 guy come up there before the show started to check on us. The bartender was too busy to leave the bar to serve. No big deal for us. The venue itself is really cool!! It was an old church that now has rock n roll on the stage and saxophonist in the baptism pool above the stage(for real). My point is, that's it's a fun place. The music was good, the singers were good, the lighting was good and it's just a cool place. There is no food served inside but there was a food truck outside and you could bring it in. Again, it adds a feeling of "come on in and have a good time!" There is a space to dance on the bottom floor, another bar and restrooms. Nothing ever seemed crowded! The parking was adequate. You can park behind the building with a short walk to the door. The ticket prices were really good. Not much of a difference between VIP and the floor. I would say if you're looking for something different where you can hangout with just your spouse or a group of friends, listen to live music and NOT be at a casino, this is for you! They rent it out as a venue for weddings, parties and I guess whatever you need! We'll be back for sure! Local people doing a local thing!! Go support a small business instead of the casino. Cheers!

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. What truly stood out was our server Nina. It wasn't just service; it felt like we were spending time with a friend who knew how to keep the energy lively while still being attentive and professional. The management team also went above and beyond, stopping by our table to introduce themselves and chat with us. The pool area was large with fun outdoor music, yard games, and beverage offerings. The service was exceptional. Staff came out to open all of the umbrellas poolside and brought out pool floaties for the kids to play with. The resort offers a yoga studio that is so cute! There was also a bar that opens in the afternoon & offers beverages, including serving your drink a plastic cup, so you could bring it poolside. While we were there, the staff was working hard to set up an oyster tasting event in the gardens. Although we did not spend the night, and we're just there for the day, I would 100% recommend and be delighted to go back. Note, the only downside was that their pool is not heated. We were visiting in April, and it was definitely a little chilly... But coming from Wisconsin, we still want swimming anyway! But it appears that the majority of hotels in that area don't heat their pools. Not expected from having usually vacationed in Florida, but fun regardless.

It was late and we were tired. The decent places off the freeway were fully booked. The concierge at one of them recommended Gulf Hills, and luckily, they had the two rooms we needed. It's very chic. The front desk and main building is swanky and cool- like the conference room is behind a bookshelf, the hotel has an interesting history, and they sell wine at the front desk. The staff was professional and helpful. The rooms were quaint in a cool way, clean (spotlessly so), and comfortable. The bed was comfy. I got some good sleep. The location is in a nice, pretty, safe neighborhood and is close to things you might need. For example, if you arrive late and miss out on Capones (like we did) there is a Dennys nearby- and say what you will, but they have something for everyone. There's also a Walmart (one of the nicer ones) right by the Dennys for any other essentials you might need late at night. There is another restaurant nearby that's open late and is more upscale, as well. In sum: Great location, friendly staff, comfortable, clean. When we pass through Biloxi again, we're making a reservation here.
