    Buffalo Fish. Hot and fresh
    Linda P.

The food was fresh, hot and simple. The front counter person taking the orders had about as much personality as a dead fish. No hello, no thank you, zip zero hospitality. Stick her on the back line breading fish and get someone else to deal with the public. No frills outdoor seating. Cash only. I would go back to O Jan's hot fish next time for almost identical food and at least they are friendly.

    Buffalo fritters and fries

First of all, you have to remember you are not eating at a five-star restaurant, this is a fishmarket with a fried fish stand at the edge of Grafton. That being said, it is the place I always go to and everything is always great. Yesterday I had the daily special of "buffalo fritters" and got some fries with it. The fritters were really fun to eat - they are "scored" so it looks like they put the fish through a spiralizer. They have a cornmeal based coating, and they come out super crispy - parts of it was almost like eating chips! The fries were we're just the run-of-the-mill crinkle fries, but they were hot and fresh, and cooked well. You order at the front window, and then wait for them to call you at the side window for your order. When I got there at 1:30 I was third in line, and had to wait maybe 10 minutes for my fish to come out. When I left about an hour later, there were eight people in line. So, just keep in mind, it can be a busy place! Lots of large and small picnic tables to choose from, some in the shade, some in the sun. Plenty of parking. Customer service was good, everybody was nice! Check their website for more information, and remember, they only take cash!

Up in Grafton for business and my colleague stopped in and picked up their exquisite Buffalo fish with a bunch of sides. Now I thought I was a man of the world till I saw SPIRAL CUT BUFFALO FISH! Simply amazing! The wondrous corn breading in every bite! I ain't grown. I was born today with the knowledge of spiral cut fish. Sides were great, especially the potato salad. I'll be going to Beasley's again!!!

1-9-21: Went Eagle watching and stopped into Beasley's Fish for some hot fish. I had the spoonbill nuggets and shrimp. They were both really good. It's fried fish but I could tell the spoonbill is a heartier fish and tasty. I would definitely recommend.

Beasley Fish is not only a Fish Market, it also serves hot fish next door. So you've got the best of both in one stop shopping. You can bring your cooler full of ice, buy fresh river fish to take home to fry. Or you can order from their hot fish stand next door and enjoy it on one of their many picnic tables. As I was out boating with my cousins, we started talking about where we should eat when we docked back at Grafton Harbor. I said, a couple of my Yelp friends had eaten at and recommended a fish shack. I couldn't remember the name, so I'm starting to look it up on the Yelp app. I said, I knew it began with a B. My cousin, immediately said, "Beasley". A friend of her's had recommended it to her just the other day. We decided, if Yelp and personal friends recommend it, it must be good. We arrived very close to closing, but the staff was very cheerful and helpful. We all wanted Catfish, so that part was easy. So we could try different sides, we each ordered a different one and then divided them up amongst ourselves. We went with the typical fried sides; french fries, onion rings and hush puppies. No alcohol here, just Pepsi products to enjoy. I'm a Coke fan, but I can enjoy a Diet Pepsi when a Coke Zero isn't available. There's also no inside dining, it's all outside patio at picnic tables. That is part of the charm. Food is good. Prices are unbelievably affordable. So when you're in Grafton, relax and eat like the locals. You'll be glad that you did. Will I Return? - Hell, yes. I'll stop by every time I'm in Grafton. When: November 4, 2017 Why: Craving Catfish

So this place is as simple as a roadside fish joint comes. They're not fancy at all, just a little mom and pop fish restaurant. There's tables and benches for family style outdoor seating. Actually it's the only seating available if you're going to "eat in". Basic condiments are offered for your fish: tartar sauce, catsup, hot sauce, and onions. Again nothing fancy. Why the 5 stars? Because although the menu is quite simple, they do everything so well. For the first time in my life I was able to eat fried buffalo while it was still hot. No bones at all! This is mind blowing! I'd actually given up eating buffalo because it was too much work and I always felt like I lost half the fish while picking bones. For those of you that love buffalo this is your spot! It's cooked perfectly and served with a smile. Well seasoned too. I'm going back once a month to satisfy my craving. So worth it.

I am a little boy from south Alabama. My 97 year old grandma cooks the best river fish in the world. However, I never knew anything about scored buffalo until finding this place. My life is complete and next to grandma this was the best fish I have ever tasted. Special thanks to the loving woman who cooked the buffalo for me that Friday.

    Buffalo fish and puppies.

This was a first for me...buffalo fish is pretty tasty. The hush puppies are some of the best I've had. Add a soda and you don't even break $7. Its a great place for local fare. Nutshell: quick, fresh food for cheap. I highly recommend a pit stop if you're riding the river road.

Boneless ribs- great, really good sauce. Vodka Penne- really good, Chicken in lemon and caper sauce- fantastic. Plenty of vegetables on the buffet and a good assortment of deserts. Also $5 Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's. Our waitress was attentive and cleared our plates quickly while we headed back to the buffet for deserts. She kept our drinks filled and asked if we needed anything. The restaurant was full, we had a short wait, without reservations, but pretty much every table was full. Most of the patrons were the "after church" family crowd (assumption on my part). We got the scoop on the owners from 2 elderly women sitting at the table next to us. The had been there many times and were making food suggestions- that's why I opted for the buffet. If you had been to the restaurant when it was The Fin Inn, you'll see they kept the aquariums that line the walls. This time they have more tropical fish- cichlids, goldfish etc. The river fish and snapping turtles are gone (at least in the area I was in). Honestly, I have no idea how they're serving this quality of food for $13. 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend.

When it gets busy be prepared to wait for a spot as most people linger & drink. I love that there's the outdoor bar so you can at least grab a drink while you wait. Vietnamese/Asian supermarkets are very nostalgic to me from being the number one childhood activity with my mother, and World Market did not disappoint. Every bit of it screamed home to me, from the lingering smell of raw fish and plethora of seasonings to the 7356495 brands for the same jarred goods to the overfilled carts of every mom's meal prep for a family of 4+ for an entire week. The grocery store itself is about smaller to medium-sized and produce seemed okay. What was really fantastic about it was that it had a lot of other businesses incorporated inside of it -- a pharmacy, to-go food on the ready, a dessert bar, etc. I especially loved the premade meals, and they had great variety. Some notable mentions from picking up an assortment of things -- the pandan soymilk was solid; the che khoai mon (taro pudding) was good; the che banh lot (pandan and coconut milk starch pudding) was also good, and I appreciated that it was just banh lot with no extra accouterments; the pate chaud was surprisingly really good (not too peppery or salty, just perfectly buttery and flakey with the right amount of flavor). In addition to not having to hit triple digits for a small grocery run (which seems to be the case everywhere else), it was really nice having so many things available. I'll definitely be back here more often to try more of their premade dishes and for the serotonin.
