Called and spoke with the parts person yesterday, 7/30/24. They didn't have everything I needed, but i figured since i was in Billings I'd buy what they had. Told him that twice. Went to the dealership today. He remembered speaking with me. I again said I would like to get the parts. We talked a bit and I repeated yet again I wanted the parts. Another customer came up and interrupted us and Maynard left me and assisted him. I asked a second parts guy about it and was told, "Oh, we don't stock those." Maynard, at one point, went back to the backroom, I assumed for my parts. I was wrong. I went up to look at used bikes. They had one I was very interested in and was about to purchase it; except for three things; an older, grey-haired, heavier gent was more than a bit rude, a lady I dont know is sales or finance, offered to help but knew exactly NOTHING about the bike. The third straw? I returned to the parts counter, asked Maynard if he'd pulled my parts. His reply, "Oh, you want the parts?" That was it, I said "Never mind, I'm done" So, not only did I not get the parts I was after YOU lost a $15,000.00 sale. read more

2019 on my way to Sturgis. All but this HD provides cold bottles of water for tired thirsty riders passing thru. Not here lol.... I got directions to a water fountain with warm water. Kay---- not the end of the world surely.... But my experience stayed at an all time low... So I'm waiting on freinds to arrive so I go in to spend money. I asked one employee if they had the sunglasses that fold up and store in a small case that can be worn on your belt. Wow.... It's like she didn't hear me.... Shows me everything I didn't ask for.... I repeated myself....still - no lights on! I gave up on the $50 dollars shades I was looking for and now wasn't even sure I wanted a T-shirt from there. I was very disappointed as Montana is my home State but nothing to brag about there at Beartooth. They had maybe four bikes in the shop for repair but seems they were backed up. Unfortunately I had a bike issue while in the area and had to use their services.... That took days and it sucked like everything else there. Too bad - as I said this was 2019... shoot maybe 2018... oops... anyway- no plandemic to blame their crappy service and attitude on. Maybe things have changed since then ...but judging by the rating I saw - probably not. But seems by reading other reviews.... They are a great place to shop if you need a t-shirt or a poker chip. Our 2019 Road glide ultra Died in Yellowstone park Sunday the 9th of June. i was given Tyler parks number and was able to get ahold of him on Monday the 10th , his day off. i asked him 2 things could he come pick up my bike and could he put me InTouch with his rental people. he said yes to both. after getting a deal cut on the rental he picked up the rental and drove to where our bike had broken down in Yellowstone. then we got lost and he had to wait an extra hour and a half for us to show up. he and his wife were great all smiles , the nicest people you could ever ask to meet. after discussing the repairs on the bike he left and we were able to continue our vacation. we arrived at Beartooth HD om Saturday June 15th Just as Nolan the Mechanic was taking our bike down off of his lift. we were able to transfer our riding gear from the rental to our bike immediately. this dealership and the names mentioned above went above and beyond to save our vacation and i just cannot say enough about this dealership they are a great group of people and they have our thanks and appreciation. ( i almost for got to mention Greg in the rental arm also a great job thank you all for everything. read more

I stopped in today just to waste a little time. I wasn't inside 2 seconds and was very friendly greeted. As I walked to the back the parts men engaged me in another friendly conversation to where I told them I was only wasting time and just doing a little window shopping. I then started looking at the bikes on the floor and Greg formally approaches me, and we engaged in friendly conversation. I told him I was only window shopping to where he then asked if I wanted a test drive. Lol would have been fun but I had to decline. I would have went home with it lol so by my experience of when I was there, it was very professional. Everyone was eager to help me if I needed help while there I would believe they would all be right there ready to go. So as far as I see it it's a pretty good place to go. read more

I love to go to Harley Shops in different towns on my travels. I don't always check in, but this shop was cool and HUGE. Lot's of things to buy if you like Harely gear. I went in because one of my coworkers back in Williston ND asked me if I could pick up some shirts for him if they had a store in the area. Lucky guy! I love technology, so I took some pics on the smart phone and SMS'd him two black shirts because he likes black so he could see the designs. He wanted both shirts, so I bought both and what made it even better is that there was NO sales tax. So glad I came to Montana to shop and not have to pay extra. Anyway, the service was really friendly and the store was super clean as you would expect in a place like this. I asked one of the sales girls if she could take a picture of me on their Harley game to show I was in the store. All I can say is big ups to the folks who work here. You look like you're having fun. I can't possibly hope to pass myself off as someone that knows anything at all about motorcycles except that it is idiotic to ride one without a helmet on, but I got the sense that if I was into that sort of thing this would be **the place** in billings to go. It was huge, air conditioned, clean, had lots of friendly staff, and all the people out at the sturgis kickoff outdoor event seemed like they were having an awesome time. There was a famous dave's bbq truck and people were allowed to walk around drinking beers, which was great because it was ninety six degrees. I don't think you can go wrong with that. read more

The absolute worst service department I have ever come across. They had our bike for 3 mths to do a few minor maintenance issues and change out the handle bars. The service manager was aware of the date & situation of our trip, which we drove 2200 miles to get there, to be told that he "forgot" and nothing had been done. Then lied that a few things had been done which was not done at all. We planned our vacation around the Beartooth Rally & to pickup our bike so we could have an enjoyable time. WHAT A WASTE!! We will never use Beartooth Harley again! BEWARE OF THIS HARLEY SHOP!!! read more

After buying a bike from these clowns I ordered a helmet. Each time they were supposed to call me with updates they never did. After a month i went in personally and was finally told it was on backorder. A week later they said it had never been ordered. I went in and they said it was all because the lady in charge of ordering was in Hawaii in vacation. After that they realized the helmet had been sitting there for a month, but they had put the wrong name on it. Got a refund and hoped to never have to deal with them again. However 40 days after sale of bike, still no title and sales dept has no idea where title is at. Waiting on return call from finance manager and I find 2 other people in Billings who bought bikes there and never got titles...to later find out they couldnt get titles because the liens from previous owners had never been paid off. A pretty basic part of taking a bike in on trade or consignment if ur a dealer. Avoid this place and their Wyoming stores like the plague. read more

So we went down the road bought a truck and went back two Utah! Where the salt lake Harley ordered the part had it in two days and in put it in about 30 minutes.. Will not ever go back. read more

Appalling ....took from 930a to 5p for them to complete a first 1k service on a 2012 bike. Even if busy and no appointment, that's a gravy service and should NEVER have taken that long. Personnel was amiable but didn't seem to care....too bad I was trapped and could not go on until the service complete. My husband and I took my motorcycle in to Beartooth Harley Davidson to have an oil leak fixed. After a couple of days they called and said that it was fixed and was covered under warranty. Which was great because it was a custom bike not purchased through this dealership. We were pleased they would honor the warranty. We picked up the bike and halfway home it was evident that they did not test their work as it was now leaking worse than before. Turned around and took it back. Couple of days later we got a call saying that the bike was fixed. Picked it up on Friday and the leak was finally fixed. Again it was covered under warranty. I rode the bike once on Saturday (I only ride on paved roads - it has beautiful custom paint and I am quite careful about not doing anything to damage the bike) Discovered on Monday while hand washing the bike that the oil tank was scratched. On one side it was scratched to the metal in an arc about an inch and a half long and a matching scratch, not as deep, was on the other side. The paint job was in perfect condition prior to taking it to Beartooth. I know this because the oil was leaking onto the oil tank and we had been very closely examining the oil tank prior to taking it to Beartooth Harley Davidson. Other than the one ride on Saturday, the bike was in the garage with the perimeter alarm on. I took it back to Beartooth to ask them to make it right. Service manager would hardly even look at the scratches. He just stood by the bike and barely glanced at it. He told me that it probably happened when I was riding the bike by a rock coming up from the road. It seems incredibly unlikely to have matching scratches on each side of the tank caused by road debris during one ride. I would have certainly noticed something hitting the tank, twice, as it would probably scare the crap out of me. Not to mention defy physics since my leg is right in front of the tank essentially protecting it when I ride. To my knowledge he didn't ask the mechanic who worked on it. The scratches look to me that like they were caused by the handle of a metal tool like a socket wrench. (Just a guess) The service manager told me that they didn't do it and I couldn't prove they did. He said he would talk to his paint guy and get back to me. Several weeks later he has yet to call. While looking for a good paint shop to fix the scratches we're finding out that our story is not unique. The paint shop we took it to told us that ours was at least the 4th one they've gotten from Beartooth scratching the paint and denying responsibility. We are new to the Harley culture and as we ask other locals about their experience with this dealership we keep hearing similar stories. We certainly will not have Beartooth Harley Davidson ever touch our bikes again. The good news is we had the tank repainted at a cost of $275 and they did a beautiful job. It's a shame that Beartooth didn't make this right because for $275 they lost a customer for life. Visited with the Missoula Harley dealership and found out that it's their policy to go over any bike they take in for service and note any damage with the customer and then do the same before releasing the bike. Seems like a good procedure if you're a dealership with integrity. Makes me wonder why Beartooth Harley Davidson doesn't do this. read more

I flew in from California to Billings to pick up my new Harley Davidson CVO Limited. Beartooth was one of the only dealers in the country that had the bike that I wanted. They went out of their way to secure the bike and hold it for me. I can't say enough about the excellent service that I received both prior to my arrival and through the entire purchase process. When I arrived at the airport, Beartooth was kind enough to send someone to pick me up and drive me to the dealership. The driver was a kind and great guy! Upon arrival, my sales person, Erin was waiting for me. She had my new motorcyle all prepped and ready to go. She stored my items in the dealership while I did all of the paperwork. The deal went smoothly and all issues were dealt with before I arrived. Once I got there, the staff zipped me through the paperwork. While I was waiting for my insurance company to fax over a insurance coverage letter, I was taken on a tour of the dealership. I got to meet the owner, Barry Usher, personally. What a great guy! Everyone was warm and friendly. I got to meet all the department heads and toured the shop. I ended up packing too much stuff on my trip to Billings. The staff went out of their way to take my extra things and ship them to my home in California. Since the purchase, the dealership has been in contact with me providing me with after sales service. This is the second Harley that I bought new. Beartooth is head and shoulders above any other dealership that I have ever dealt with. I would highly recommend them. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I got a flat tire in MT while on a long trip from Seattle, WA. I broke down in the middle of no where. Not a structure in site and a long ways from any sort of town. I had a weak cell signal and called Beartooth HD as I didn't know anyone in the state and I knew I would need to get to the dealership to get my tire replaced anyway. Beartooth HD sent their driver to pick me up and take both me and my bike back to the shop. The trip was almost 200 miles round trip, but they helped me out! The service gal strongly suggested I leave my bike for a couple of days as they were fully booked, but after I explained the situation the service guys got my tire replaced and had me back on the road by that afternoon. Vacation saved! The store is large, clean, and everyone is super friendly so if you gotta be stranded some where it's not a bad place to be. Thanks guys! read more

Just a bad experience all around from the paperwork being messed up and having to go in five different times to resign paperwork and not standing behind the things that were promised. I have been told I can not cancel the extended warranty or pre paid maintance I purchased the owner just said good luck I have to go through him to do that.
