Original Review: 11/07/2016 (1 Star)…read more Updated Review: 11/9/2016 (3 Stars): I requested Carpet Village come in, sand/refinish my hardwood floors and also replace some shoe molding. Stephen was very helpful with providing estimates and I went ahead and decided to go with them. They were able to complete the work within a week which worked out perfectly with my schedule. Unfortunately, after reviewing the work that had been done, I was very unimpressed. Bad shoe molding was used, a boot print was left in the wood, marks were left on the walls, and there were places on the hardwood that were clearly not sanded. They also managed to trip the power and failed to mention anything to me about it. I was not able to enter the home for a couple of days because of the floors, so the puddle under the fridge was a nice surprise as well as the spoiled food inside the fridge. I immediately contacted Stephen and he expressed concern and ensured me all these problems would be taken care of immediately. I reluctantly agreed to give them a second chance. The second time around, the floors looked much better and they managed to fix many of their mistakes. Unfortunately, if you are at the right angle you can still see the boot print, there are still some areas where the floor was sanded a bit uneven, and there are places where the shoe molding was placed very unprofessional like. I was charged the original amount we agreed upon but was given a bottle of floor cleaner. (I am a man of my word and accepted to pay them a specific amount; and although I do not believe they kept their end of the deal, I'll keep my word.) Overall, very nice folks running this business, but unfortunately the contractors they hired to represent their company did a sub-par job. I may use them again in the future for the simple fact that when I pointed out their mistakes, they were quick to address them and were very professional the whole time.

Joe arrived at the end of the day - to check on the work, and encouraged me to call should I ever have concerns or issues, 2 weeks out and I have no issues. I will have them back when I'm ready to install this beautiful floor on my upstairs level. I highly recommend Prospect, they are the kind of company (family-owned) that is rare to find and truly cares about their service and clients

Overall, we are very happy with the quality of the work and the customer service provided by Amir. The carpet and waterproof vinyl installations both went smoothly. The crew worked efficiently and finished the jobs in a couple of days. The hardwood flooring project took a frustrating turn, but Amir ultimately resolved it to our satisfaction. The crew installed the hardwood in summer 2023 and shortly afterwards much of it shrunk and developed creaking. After a lot of back and forth with Amir and the manufacturer, Renaissance replaced the problem areas. My wife and I appreciated Amir's professionalism and integrity. Our townhouse's flooring is now so beautiful thanks to Renaissance!

Update on my Original Review: AVOID at ALL COST…read more.. (UPDATE on my ORIGINAL REVIEW) The owner called me to discuss the EXTREMELY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE we had, and the POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE provided by his employees. I appreciated his personal outreach, and was gracious enough to give them another chance. During the "2nd Chance Visit", his carpet estimator was incredibly rude to my female tenant, made it seem like he was doing her a favor to show-up, and verbally CURSED AT MY FEMALE TENANT. She became afraid and asked the carpet estimator to leave because she felt unsafe. I respect & appreciate the OWNER for trying to make things right, but if this is the caliber of employee that his company hires, I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM. It is 1,000% UNACCEPTALBE for a service provider that has been invited into someone's home to curse at a woman. UNACCEPTABLE. District Floor Depot WILL NOT be getting my business, and I hope that no consumer supports this type of behavior by doing business with them. (ORIGINAL REVIEW) This company offers HORRIBLE customer service. I scheduled multiple appointments, and they just didn't show up. They called and said the representative was outside. THEY LIED. We immediately opened the door, and no one was there. I called right back, and they said the representative was there, but left. They lied. We were looking for them the entire time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this company. Go to a reputable company that appreciates & values its customers and their time. I would not accept free carpet from them at this point. INTEGRITY MATTERS.

I contacted at least 1/2 dozen companies both listed through Yelp and advertisements on a Sunday evening. Monday only 2 companies contacted me back. Jason with Next Day listened to what we were seeking along with price range-major factor. Came same day with samples we requested. No attempt to steer into a higher price category or negatively commenting on anything. Came away with good feeling and written estimate and waited for the other contacts to call and get some estimates. Sadly, Dominion Carpet and Mo the owner came out the next day. His cologne hit us before he walked in door along with all the comments that Jason did not make, quality terrible, we were seeking Berber and some kitchen floor. He brought in 1 sample-a high end carpet. We went through 1 hour of cologne and sales pitch and too high a price and no written estimate left! Jason followed up via telephone with some additional suggestions and sent within a couple of days some pics. We had him come over that Friday--with the flooring sample for kitchen -Raskin Resilient tile-which we loved. We bumped up our price range for the floor since so reasonable from the simple vinyl. We agreed on a price that day and an install date for the following Monday. 4 gentlemen, Felix, Tony, Irwin and Jose came out on time, knew what they were doing, courteous and moved furniture with no issues. 10 hours later we had a new house-so to speak whole house completed. We will definitely recommend to anyone seeking new flooring and carpeting. Next Day did what the customer sought-price factor, time frame and smooth sailing with install. Most important-followed up immediately with our Yelp request for info. I am still waiting for the others to contact me--LOL! Tony the owner contacted the next day to check on everything-- Teresa and Arlene

Excellent Experience with Next Day Carpet & Flooring…read more I had a wonderful experience with Next Day Carpet & Flooring. They carpeted the entire upstairs of my home, installed beautiful hardwood flooring on the main level, and in the kitchen I chose a gorgeous marble tile that completely transformed the space. The entire process was fast, efficient, and very professional. The team worked quickly without sacrificing quality, and what impressed me most was how clean they kept everything--they cleaned as they worked, so there was never a mess left behind. Everyone on the team was courteous, respectful, and clearly skilled at their craft. The final result looks absolutely beautiful for a great price and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. I highly recommend Next Day Carpet & Flooring to anyone looking for quality work, professionalism, and a smooth installation experience.
