Installed my carpet, tile, and laminate flooring. Came back years later to assist with water damage. Reasonably priced. Will use again.

He was able to come by our place on the same day for an in-person quote and after deciding that we wanted to work with him, he was at our place ready to work the very next morning! He said he was able to come by to start work at 9am the next morning, but he was there not only on time but a bit earlier by around 8:30am! We had started off with 3 projects for him, which he quoted us for, but I ended up asking him if he could do more little projects, and he was able to take on anything we asked of him. He's awesome, he was even so respectful to take off his shoes when he worked inside our home. The projects he was able to complete for us was: 1) carpentry work in our garage (to secure some previous work done before we bought our townhouse, there were some unsecured wooden pillars barely holding up a wooden built-in storage shelf). Jose even told us how he would make it even more secure by adding more pillars where it would hold more weight on the shelf and be more secure; 2) filled up a hole in our wall, he was able to patch it up with drywall and matched the exact paint and by the time he was done and paint dried, you would never have known it was there! 3) he installed a new storm door for us, our previous storm door had a broken door handle, and Jose was able to install a brand new storm door that we had purchased, he even made sure that the storm door we bought was the correct measurement. 4) Jose installed new hardware on our kitchen cabinet doors, they were all aligned! He took the project off our hands. 5) upon request he was able to fix our closet door that wasn't aligned properly, so it didn't shut! When we bought the house it was like that, Jose fixed it! 6) he glued & aligned some wooden pieces coming off that were framing our attic crawl space. 7) he went above and beyond to find some new window screens that we couldn't locate locally, so he drove to another state to look for it the very same day! He wasn't able to locate it, so he ordered the correct sized window screens and installed them as soon as he could after it came in the mail! He was able to get most of the work done in just 2 days! Minus the window installation, which was done as soon as possible, once he special ordered it and after it arrived! His preferred payment method is through Zelle. Jose is an amazing handyman! He is punctual, very reliable, kept his word when he said he would come by and do our projects, and did great work in a timely manner. I would recommend him to family & friends, and we will definitely work with him again.

I am hoping that this review will provide a serious warning and protect anyone thinking of doing business with these people especially ALEXANDER [Alex] ARDILA. Alexander Ardila presented himself as trustworthy, knowledgeable, and experienced licensed contractor while acting as the face of PRISTINE REMODELING LLC -- handling sales, estimates, contracts, daily construction and customer interactions. Based on how the company was presented to me, I believed I was dealing with a properly licensed and professionally managed home improvement contractor. I later learned that Nicole Green, whose license was connected to the business, appeared to rely heavily on Alexander Ardila to run operations, solicit homeowners, price projects, and write contracts, despite him not personally holding the required licenses. I also later learnt that because of his criminal record, he couldn't get a home improvement contractor or salesperson license - thus his partnership with Nicole Green. From my experience, contracts and major project decisions were being made without Nicole Green ever physically inspecting the property, meeting the client, or personally evaluating the scope of work prior to sending out contracts for clients' reviews. I was scammed out of $60,000 for a kitchen extension/remodeling project that resulted in severe structural and safety concerns. An independent engineer later reviewed the work and identified major deficiencies involving structural supports, framing, attachment to the home, and code compliance. Emergency support beams had to be installed because of concerns about structural failure, and I was informed the addition ultimately needed to be demolished and rebuilt. What was especially alarming was being repeatedly told that certain codes, permits, or structural requirements were "not necessary," while unsafe work continued unkownst to me. No family should have to fear whether construction work performed on their home would endanger their lives. When I attempted to get the bad work that I was aware of at that time corrected which was prior to the engineer's inspection that was done around February 2026, I reached out to Nicole Green because Alexander Ardila was ignoring my requests [but at the same time, any interactions with him was becoming more aggressive and intimidating with endless gaslighting] for corrections of such things as leaking roof, spongy, uneven floors, exposed electrical wires - Nicole Green claimed that Alexander [Alex] Ardila told her that he referred me to another contractor because they had a lot of projects that they were working on. When I pushed the issue, she later claimed I was scammed solely by her business partner, Alexander [Alex] Ardila and quickly made herself the "victim", taking Pristine Remodeling LLC and Alexander Ardila to court in attempts to what appears to be her efforts to desolve and defund this business - which is the easiest way in my opinion to not accept any accountability for the damages suffered by the real victims because of her informed choice to go into business with a known Felon/scammer as a business partner Permitting him to use her licenses unmanaged and unsupervised. Homeowners should also carefully verify every subcontractor entering their property. Individuals identified to me as Adi Mendoza Del and his crew including Francisco were involved in the construction, plumbing and electrical work in this project. Antonio was also brought in to work on this project. I continue to ask for my money back or for the work to be corrected - but we all know how that is going to end - DO SCAMMERS EVER GIVES BACK MONEY? I strongly encourage homeowners to independently confirm licenses, qualifications, permit requirements, and inspection approvals for anyone performing specialized trades. I accepted this contractor mainly because he came through personal referrals -"I saw work done at my friend's home, I saw work done at his mother's home and we had mutual connections. Please do your due diligence before hiring any contractor to do work on your house - NO MATTER WHAT!! Verify licenses directly with the MHIC, confirm what permits are required, make sure permits are properly pulled, request inspections, and never rely solely on referrals and familiarity connections! Unfortunately due to how easy it is for Alexander Ardila to scam unsuspecting home owners out of their hard earned money doing home improvement- he is Never going to stop. I have reported this matter to MHIC and Maryland OAG.

I liked that the owner was personally present much of the time. I talked to a few of his crew and it is obvious that they have a good bit of experience working with wood floors. We are very happy with the finished product. These next comments don't relate to Tony's Floors... but you might find them helpful. We were not prepared for the smell. In retrospect, I wish we had booked a hotel room for about four nights. The house was a mess with sawdust everywhere. Orlando did a good job of taping up plastic and wrapping chandeliers and lights, but over time, some of that tape gave away and opened up. Then the smell of the stain and polyurethane is overwhelming. We stayed in our room, put towels under the door and opened with windows... but not pleasant. Then be prepared, you cannot walk on floors for several days. We were able to build a bridge using a ladder and a 2 x 12 board, but we got lucky. So prepare ahead of time, take everything you will need and book a hotel room. Finally, be ready to clean even after Orlando and crew complete their clean. They did a good job, but no way to easily remove the dust in every area. It's the reality. At the end, our floors look great and it was worth it, but it's not a simple, easy project.

Their team completely transformed our staircase! They removed our old bannister and installed a stunning new red oak bannister, which they carefully sanded, stained, and finished to perfection. They also painted our existing risers and side skirts, and even custom-made a beautiful square bottom tread and riser that really completes the look. Arnold's installers clearly took great pride in their craftsmanship. Their attention to detail was noticeable from day one. From the careful removal of the existing bannister to the precision cuts and painting of the new one, we knew we were dealing with the best in the business. Not only that, they arrived on time every morning during the five-day installation (even on a Saturday), worked efficiently, and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving each day. They were professional, respectful, and an absolute pleasure to have in our home. The end result is flawless. Our staircase looks better than we ever imagined.
