Came here to try a Louisville Style Pizza. We got a small Mama Bearnos special. It is a kind of expensive, especially with how small the pizza was but the pizza was pretty good. It wasn't anything to call home about but I thought it was well put together. Service was nice but slow. The vibe inside is odd, it felt like a billiards hall. So I ordered a pizza via DoorDash from Boast. I asked that several things be put on there via the app, including things like pepperoni, green peppers, black olives, and some other things. It came with only pepperoni. DoorDash only wanted to give me five dollars back initially and so I called the restaurant and the manager there insisted that he got it right. Even though I'm looking at the pizza and I was willing to send pictures that it was only pepperoni pizza. He wasn't having any of it ended up hanging up on me. Friday, Jan. 19, 2027, National Championship night kickoff at 730p. At 1:00pm I ordered my pizza & one appetizer for pickup at 630pm. I arrive and pay at 620pm. Only 8 people eating in the restaurant, 6 or more people are standing / seated waiting for their orders. A dozen people get their order ahead of me, some of them tell me they ordered 3 hrs after I had ordered. I questioned several times where is my order .... working on it. At 700pm my order is ready. Worse carryout service I have experienced. I suggest you not pay until the order is handed to you, that way you can leave after waiting 20-25 minutes. read more

Great place to watch some football, have some good appetizers and a great pizza. The staff is always pleasant and cheerful and very accommodating. Run into several friends there. The only chip I may have is sometimes they are understaffed, and the staff has a large duty taking care of everyone in a reasonable time. read more

We dined in here on a Sunday evening. I lost my coupon they sent me in the mail and luckily the server was able to get it approved to let me use it anyway. Yay! So, we had the chicken bacon ranch pizza (my long time Bearno's favorite) and the coupon included a 2-liter so she just let us take that home when we left. Since we live up the street we go here quite frequently. The pizza, service & atmosphere is great. Several TVs to watch a game and prices are reasonable for the quality of the pizza. The only reason I give it 4 stars vs. 5, is because I ordered the lasagna last visit. It was full of water and piping hot, so I assume it was frozen and then heated up in the microwave, which if tasted decent would be ok. I'll stick with their pizza in the future. read more

Ordered pizza at 6. Said it would be a hour to hour and fifteen minutes. No problem. Pizza arrives at 7:15. No problem. Pizza is Luke warm and not hot. Must have been out of oven for 40-45 minutes. You have to get it right when you have a new store. read more

When the fam is desperate for basically anything we can get with minimal effort for dinner, we order delivery. This location has delivered ice cold pizza in the past, but they seem to be moving into the Luke-warm category. When the pizza arrives you taste what was likely once good pizza...that is now luke warm. It's pizza, they deliver to our home (there's no other option ) and even bad pizza is good on a night when you don't feel up to cooking. Wish I could give ZERO STARS!! My husband went there to get us a pizza at 8:56pm on Sunday and they told him he couldn't order carry out because they were closing. For a franchise that is supposed to stay open until 12am on a Sunday night that is unacceptable. They even locked the doors with customers inside so no one else could come inside. When we called the restaurant for an explanation they said that they didn't have a manager on duty and that's why they closed. The guy was very rude about the whole situation and not apologetic at all. We will never be eating at this location again. Not only because of this situation but because the service is bad and they have messed up our order several times in the past. This was the breaking point for us. First time going to lunch buffet was not good. No pizzas out although they made me what I wanted I had to ask for it. No lasagna or chicken lasagna like the new albany store has. My husband is a big pizza person. I call him Pizza monster(Like Cookie Monster) anyways... He likes Bearno's Pizza a lot. So I can say their Pizza is very good. The reason of 3 star is customer service... when we tried to order online somehow it didn't work we had to call them. They told us it will take about 45 mins, it was Sunday night it could be busy so it was ok but after an hour... no sign of delivery... we called the restaurant and they said the delivery person just left a few mins ago. Our house is less than 10 mins away from the restaurant and they pizza finally arrived after 90 mins... (I know we are lazy... we could just pick up the pizza lol) I feel like they could have had better communication about delivery time. read more

This place is supposed to deliver. They could not guarantee if they could deliver or not. They kept saying their driver was on the way in. When asked before giving the credit card information if the driver was for sure going to be able to make it, they said the driver was scheduled. When we explained it was important that they were going to be able to deliver the order if we paid for it, they hung up on us. Don't advertise/say delivery if you can't get employees to come in to deliver. Also, improve customer service. The customers are what is keeping you in business during this pandemic. We could always get pizza from the large corporate chains and let small local businesses with poor service wither up and go out of business. They have terrible service, they actually blamed ME for using THEIR online ordering system, saying "You need to call to place an order or its not going to be received through our system". Yeah, great advice, really glad to see you've embraced the 21st century. Beyond that, they can't be bothered to update their hours of operation, so when you show up during what should be open hours and fine the only lights on are the beer signs hanging in the window, its a little off putting, but, given their review here and obvious lack of quality, it's not surprising that they would lack the necessary clientele to be able to keep their doors open. But hey! Let's talk about quality. Meh. I've been eating Bearnos since the late 90's, but as their quality and customer service has degraded, so has my patience and appetite for what is honestly a mediocre pizza at best. How they stay open with competition such as Boomboz, Jets or Mazarella's is beyond me. They must have a loyal customer base that doesn't mind a rude, substandard experience for a ridiculous fee that is as ridiculously inflated as Bearno's sense of quality. If I could give less than one star, I would. For the attitude and gall of this franchise location. We moved from louisville and was excited to have a location so close. It was a colossal disappointment. They are cheap with attitude. We ordered $40 bucks of food every Saturday from the Taylorsville Rd location back home with a big tip. We got half the food and it was sloppily prepared here. Chicken parm with one piece of chicken, not two. instead of an individual bag of chips with sandwiches, they opened a bag and just dumped them in the box and no dill pickle! Ordered delivery at 5:00, estimated one hour. At 6:30 called and they said they thought it was carryout. Delivered in finally around 7:45 and it was really cold. They did give us a discount and apology upon delivery but I'd have rather paid full price for a good pizza. So this ended up costing what the big chains cost and was nowhere near as good. read more

Ate there yesterday and was thoroughly disappointed. They had NO pasta. When we arrived there were several people there and only a few pieces of cold pizza. They made several of the very same pizzas. We live around the corner from the Jeffersonville Bearno's. Very convenient since the next pizza place is a few miles down the highway. Our take-out pizzas always taste good, once we finally get them. First, there's the call in. The girl who answers usually puts me on hold and never returns so I have to call back and get someone else. I explain the problem I had with the previous call and he never responds. Every time one of the three of us picks the pizza up, there's only 2 or 3 people dining in and several young guys at the bar where the gal who takes carry-out orders (when you're actually lucky enough to have her take your order the first time you call) is usually nowhere to be found or flirting with the guys at the bar. One evening she was on a personal call when I walked in and wouldn't hang up. I finally said, "Excuse me, is this where I pick up a carry-out order?" She signals me she'll be off the phone in a minute and I stand there for another five. Then I have to tell her what I ordered, she takes forever to bring it back and ring it up. Sometimes it's warm when I get home 5 minutes later, sometimes it's not. I give 2 stars for the food itself, 1 star for it being over-priced, and 0 stars for the service. I figure the girl must be the manager's daughter, else he's a piss poor manager to keep an employee of her low caliber of customer service. read more

Cut my friend off after having one drink due to her walking funny and there were no other signs of being drunk. Funny story is she had a tumor removed from her spinal cord and just started being able to walk from being in a hospital for 2 months and then a wheelchair and still goes to PT everyday. I get as a bartender you have to watch what you serve but one drink later and then being told to get the check is bs. My friend also hates that she walks like that, glad you made her feel good about herself. Do your job and don't over serve but also don't victimize a crippled person. read more

Been to the Jeffersonville location just a couple of times. Pizza is good but last time I ordered the meatball sub while the rest of the party ordered pizza. Took 45 minutes to get our food despite there being only five occupied tables in the restaurant. Pizza was good but the sub came out without the toppings I ordered and paid for and the sub had obviously spent a lot of time under a lamp somewhere. Waitress was too scarce to correct the order. Despite pointing out that she was charging me for toppings I didnt get, she still charged me. Bearno's gets one star due to their poor service. read more

The absolute worst experience! I work in customer service therefore I am a very patient person but not only was the service horrible but the food was not Bearno's quality. My party of 10 arrived at 4:30pm to find the store empty. GREAT!! we expected good , fast service. WRONG. 15 min went by before we were ever approached about what we would even like to drink. We ordered 3 appetizers along with 4 pizzas and a salad. After waiting another 10 min. the waitress comes back to tell us that she forgot ...the deep fryer wasn't working. Really? Now we've been waiting for appetizers that are never coming. We order some cheese bread in it's place and waited..and waited. We watched 2 other tables of people come in - order and get served and we are still waiting. We finally started getting some of our food over an hour later. One of the Pizza's we ordered was the super large Big Berano;s - $41.99. We've had it before , we know what to expect. That is not what we got. Looked like it was a size smaller than it was supposed to. VERY little cheese on top!! That pizza has tons of toppings and without the cheese you couldn't even try to pick it up. The cheese is what holds it together and not to mention the taste!! Looked like a bunch of toppings were tossed on top of the crust and a little sprinkle of cheese. NOT WORTH $$42.00!! One of the other Pizzas was not cooked - the crust was so doughy you could not eat it. We took it home and cooked it more so it was edible. We asked for a order of banana peppers on the side - 5 slices of the banana peppers in a little cup- $2.49. OMG - If you add the topping to your whole pizza it's only $1.25. So I pay double for enough to go on 1 slice??? Not done yet...after we receive our food we never see the waitress again to even try to send the uncooked pizza back. She should have at least come over once to see if everything was ok..see if we needed a refill on our drinks. After sitting there for 2.5 hours (total) I finally get up to go look for to- go boxes myself. That is when the waitress notices and realizes we aren't happy. We told her the issues and that we just needed our checks. With those complaints you would think the manager would have come to the table ...no, Didn't even offer a discount. The waitress ATTEMPTED to gives us our checks(3) twice BUT did not have the right food on the correct person's check. She had the food all mixed up. After explaining it to her in detail for the 2nd time I told her we should get a discount or something. When she came back with the checks for the 3rd time she told me she took the cheese bread off of my order for the inconvenience. Really??? How did she do that when I didn't order cheese bread? That belonged on another check. At that point I just wanted out of there. Thanks for taking the cheapest item off ...better than nothing! I'm not one to leave bad reviews BUT... I get up this morning and get on-line to check my checking account and OMG - I was charged TWICE by Bearno's. 2 different amounts...I will be calling them when they open and hopefully get reimbursed. We also overheard the people at 2 other tables complaining about the service and getting wrong orders and they had a different waitress.
