I had a friend mention this place. He said they always got carry out pizza from here. I've been in the Portland area on Monday's recently & tried it out today. I was not disappointed at all. The pizza I had was delicious. The ingredients looked & tasted fresh and high quality. I can't wait to try something else out on their menu!

PORTLAND LOCATION! If I could give zero stars, I would. Placed an order last night 11/29/18, for 2Med Pizzas, before going to sleep for work. I work 3rd shift. 1st - 2x Sausage with Extra Cheese. 2nd - Pep & Sausage with Extra Cheese The 2x Sausage was for the family to eat. The Pep & Sausage was mine to have for lunch while at work. After I placed and paid for the pizzas by card, I, went to sleep. When I woke up, I ate the last slice of 2x Sausage that was in the box, on my way out the door. During my lunch break is when I had 1 slice of the Pep & Sausage, and discovered the pizza had no bottom bake. The bottom is not cooked, as u can see in the pics. It's to the point, that the cutter didnt even cut the slices, because it was too doughy. The top of the pizza looks amazing. I never thought to look at the bottom of a pizza when it comes. It's just somethin, that's always right, when it arrives at the door. It was 2am, and obviously, they were closed. So, when I got off, I tried calling the store. Little to my surprise, they dont open until 3pm. Called the store today, was telling the woman who answered the phone, she treated me like a piece of shit. No concern whatsoever. Asked me if I had called last night about the pizza? I told her no, that they were closed. She tells me, "SHE" wouldve called "RIGHT AWAY" if her pizza was raw, as if I was telling a damn lie. I told her it was no way for me to speak with anyone, so I saved the pizza, as proof, but since i didnt call "last night", it was nothing they could do. Was told, if I had called, "last night", then they wouldve made me a new pizza and sent it out. When I told her the pizza was raw with no bottom bake, she told me that's how their pizzas are. A TOTAL FUCKIN LIE. Maybe the bottom burners had went out. I dont know. But, I know one thing, the bottom isnt cooked, and the pizza is very doughy, under the toppings. Treating me like I was trying to steal from them, was unacceptable. Not every person that calls with a concern, is trying to get something for FREE. All I wanted was to call it in, take them this pizza, and to pick up the new one. I didnt want a driver bring a free order. I asked her what should I do with this raw pizza, she said she didnt know, it wasnt her pizza. It shouldnt matter when I called back with a concern, as long as I had the product, that's all that should matter. Pictured are the pizzas when they came, after the pizzas came, the empty box of the good pizza, then the bottom of the raw pizza, so you can see the rawness. Along, with my proof of purchace. We use Annie's for our work functions. 30-40 pizzas. Never again!

Very low prices and pretty good food. Deep in the heart of Portland. Only thing I don't like is they charge for garlic butter.

Initially we were going to share a pizza but since they offered a 10 inch we both went our own way. Bestie ordered the Hawaiian & I chose the meatball. While noth pizzas were yummy, the meatball was clearly the better of both. The crust was seasoned perfectly and crunchy but not hard. The meatballs had a perfect flavor, moist and covered with cheese. I mean, how can you go wrong with cheesy meatballs? I also ordered a Tito's Island Punch and let me say, it packed a delightful, delectable & delicious punch! I'm a lightweight but it was so good that I almost ordered another one! They may be a chain but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of our food, our server Chelle (not sure if this is her correct spelling but she was perfectly lovely) and the price point. I would definitely dine here again.

(2:30pm) Everything was hot & fresh. I really liked my salad but next time I'd say bacon bits on the side. They pile it on. Same with the onions, I just picked some off. The peppercorn ranch was good. I got the Hot honey pizza & my husband got the Big Four Meat pizza. We thought it was a good pizza. We both got the regular crust. They were flavorful & they didn't skimp on toppings. The breadsticks were fresh & had a good garlic flavor. I preferred the beer cheese/red sauce to dip. He thought the garlic butter was one of the better butter sauces he had in a while. So it all depends on personal preference. Overall I'm glad we tried them out.

Theyre doing wood fired Neapolitan style pizza with sourdough. It has a really amazing chewy texture. We went with the Puttanesca.. briny and tasty. Good with wine, too. We also got the Fungi with a variety of local mushrooms. We also loved the funky Caesar salad with anchovies.. i love anchovies... The space has a cool, intimate atmosphere that's great for couples or small groups, the staff is super friendly, and they've got fun merch for sale at the front. It's a bit hidden but 100% worth finding. Highly recommend, especially if you love authentic Neapolitan-style pizza.

Our cocktails were on point and refreshing, as was the citrus salad. We ordered the Milk and Honey pizza with the house-made sausage...very tasty. The restaurant is warm and cozy..a great atmosphere. I will definitely make reservations next time and sit in a booth or table, but I must say I really did enjoy chatting with the bartender...he's great. The only downside here is the parking. We arrived around five on a Sunday and it still took my husband a while to find a place, especially since snow mounds were still abundant ... I can't imagine if you arrived primetime on Friday or Saturday. We will definitely return.

I have dined in and carried out pizza and pasta and we have never been disappointed. The bread sticks are soft and slightly chewy, a real standout. I love the pizza crust. I tried pasta for the first time recently and while I prefer the pizza, the baked spaghetti I ordered was also quite delicious. The interior of the restaurant is a fairly small space without frills but comfortable. The courtyard at the Mellwood arts center where it is located is a great place to eat outdoors in good weather. Danny Mac's has single act and small ensemble live music occasionally which is a nice touch. Ample parking in the arts center parking lot.

And for the first time, we sat in the courtyard just outside its main doors at Mellwood Art Center. On a warm fall night, this was delightful. The kids had enough room to run around a bit, having fun looking at the big art pieces that surround the space, while we could sit, drink beer and eat pizza. The Cracksticks continue to be my absolute favorite. Even if it's just my small family eating dinner from Danny Mac's, these are a carb-filled, dripping-in-garlic must. And we got a basic pepperoni pizza, though the Hawaiian, Chicken Bacon Ranch and Meats pizzas are also delightful. From the crust to the toppings, everything is consistently perfect. Danny Mac's also has decent beer on tap, or you can get a bottle of Ale-8. A true Louisville food staple. So thankful for it.

This is a terrific deal, plus it makes us get out of our rut at eating at our favorite place all the time. I will be honest, I have not been to Impellizerri's in years. We've been to Italy and Italian Switzerland many times and love their very thin, fold in your hand pies which have fresh tomato sauce and flavorful local cheese. I was hopeful- Impelliizeris had a thin crust option! Unfortunately, it was as disappointing as I remember. The crust is too doughy, the sauce is bland and the cheese was thick and tasteless. We arrived about 7 on Saturday night, it was busy, but we were able to be seated within 10 min. Amazing location with street parking available. Great selection of Bourbon and beers available, and a great menu. They offer 4 styles of pizza: thin, original, thick, and Sicilian. We went with original, and it was perfect crust, with a chewy edge. Louisville style is two layers of cheese and toppings, with a slightly thicker than thin crust. We loved it, but it's very filling. Lots of leftovers, which is never bad. We always get 16in to maximize our slice to pizza ratio. Service was fast and attentive, their pizzas do take longer than your average, but it was worth it. I think ours took about 25 min.
