The best small coffee shop inside Troyers. Service is great. Coffee is great. Many options to choose from.

The doughnuts are double the size of most doughnuts and doubly good. The pretzels are huge, butter basted, warm and delicious. It's not inexpensive but the tastes will cure you of any sticker shock. I spent $40+ for 1/2 dozen regular-1/2 dozen chocolate dipped doughnuts and 6 pretzels with dipping sauces and didn't regret a penny of what I spent. Came back on my way out of town and got a pretzel dog and pretzel for breakfast as well as some doughnuts for later. The food trailer in some of the pictures has been replaced by a building on the edge of Troyer's parking lot. You order at the window and most times there's going to be a line. It's a takeout business so you are on your own if you want to eat right away. The folks are friendly and efficient and orders are filled quickly once you get to the window. If you want to get a preview just search Auntie Ruth's on YouTube and enjoy. It's how I learned that there are a bunch of them in East Tennessee. I just know that if I didn't have enough incentive already to visit my niece then Auntie Ruth's finishes the job.

It seems that they glaze all of them and then they top it with which ever one you decide. I got the espresso one but ended up wiping off most of the frosting because it's just too sweet. But it was very good. I also got the pretzel which is also ginormous. Next time I'll ask for it without salt because even wiping off all the salt it was still very salty but it was very very good and soft. If you don't have time and your rush then don't bother coming here because it was probably about a half an hour wait in line.

This is consistently the worst Starbucks in the area. Maddi (manager) at her team really need some…read moretraining or be replaced. Today at first there was only 1 person working with a line to the door. Maddi was sitting outside the location and finally got up to up. She did not wash her hands and proceeded to handle the food for the customer before me with her bare hands. Maddi then took my order. The total was much more than what I pay for the exact same drink at the Starbucks down the street and via mobile order. Finally a third girl got to work and they needed to ridicule her for being an hour late to work with a Baja blast from Taco Bell before getting back to work. It took forever for them to make my cold brew coffee because the 2 girls were more interested in chatting than making orders. The second girl, more of an emo look (she had no visible nametag) was picking up other customers cups and running her hands around the rim of the cups, obviously had zero food handling training. The taller girl, also no name tag but had glasses, was making my drink. When she handed it to me, I questioned if she put cherry in the cold foam. She rudely said yes. I said it's usually pink and this is white which is why I asked. She said it is pink, it's out lighting and walked away. Well it still wasn't pink outdoors nor did it have any flavor of cherry at all. So I paid more for an incorrectly made drink. Had this been a one time thing, I wouldn't provide a review but when Maddi and tall girl (who never has a nametag) are working, I've NEVER been served properly. I'll skip this one moving forward as the one down the street inside Food City take mobile order, drinks always taste great and the are friendly whether you order there or via mobile.

Parking is in a paved lot right in front of the building but there is more in the adjacent lot. The only problem is if you pull into the front lot but don't have a parking space you can't get to the adjacent lot without going back out onto the divided highway. The legal way to do this is turn left at the divider opening and go back towards Jonesboro about a block, then turn around at the next divider opening and turn into the adjacent lot. There could be an opening to the adjacent lot from the front lot but it is blocked off with a railroad tie. There is a handicapped space right in front of door. The parking spaces are not marked so you need to be considerate. This trip was for breakfast on a weekend, and the restaurant was about half full when we arrived. We were greeted as we walked in and told to sit anywhere. Seating is to the left and is all tables with few seats at a counter to the right as you walk in. Our server came by right away with the menu and took our drink orders. She brought the drinks quickly, but we needed a little more time to decide as the menu is decently large and diverse. She returned in an appropriate amount of time, the sign of a good server. Our food arrived about 10 minutes after ordering. The Magnificent Seven had two eggs (cooked slightly less than ordered, but not an issue), hash browns, two sausage patties, two small pancakes, and a biscuit. The biscuit was dry but would be fine with gravy. Everything else was quite good. Of note is the little jelly packets included seedless blackberry jelly and apple butter, a very nice change from the typical grape and strawberry offering at most restaurants. My dining partner selected the meat omelet, which also included toast. The omelet was large and completely filled with meat. It was a very good selection and very filling. There is background music playing which is noticeable but not loud. Conversation was very easy. The restaurant was mostly full by the time we left, but the servers still seemed to be keeping up, as was the kitchen. Overall, this was a good breakfast for a fair price, and we definitely plan to return.
