    Croissant

Wasn't sure what time it opened, walked and got there around 7:40, and there was a line for when it opened at 8. Got two pastry's the bear claw and a special- maple ham and Greer Croissant. Prices were kinda crazy- the bear claw was $11. And the special most of been around 10 cause in total it was like $22.50. The croissant was good, the fillings were great. The bear claw was disappointing because it was filled with chocolate chip cookie and you couldn't taste the flaky bear claw cause it was strongly overpowered by cookie which made it too decadent and super heavy. When I took the cookie out the bear claw itself was awesome. Since I just got pastry's they came out super fast, good service

This breakfast spot has to have the absolute best everything bagel I've ever had. Like their model of ordering and picking up outside. Thank goodness for nice weather. Downside for a coffee and breakfast spot, they don't open until 8. When visiting Bolton Landing I was there for a conference so had to be in session typically by 8 but was walking by before 7 and between 7-8. Everything I did get to try was just absolutely the best!

For MDW my family traveled to Bolton to stay with relatives. It was so nice exploring the town, but we needed a caffeine break. Bear's Cup had just reopened for the season and so happy we got to try it! We ordered drinks including the cold brew, chai and a whipped espresso special. The bear claw was also a must try!

Egg sandwich and my Gluten free bread was not toasted, Idk why you wouldn't toast it? Oh well.

Kids loved it, want to go back tomorrow but for 3 people $75 breakfast! Ouch! It's take out only, but they have some tables and chairs on sidewalk. They had one GF bread, one GF banana bread (I'm allergic otherwise I would have tried it), many croissants and bakery items.

Good NY pizza. Crisp, thin crust. $5/slice with topping. $4/slice plaincheese only. There are shakers of Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes and garlic powder. Friendly, prompt service. 5% cash discount. Indoor seating is typical simple sub shop; nice that they have a few 2-person tables outdoors on the sidewalk.

Northern Lake George area that is more outside of the chaos of the downtown. You can order at their outside window or eat inside and try their brunch. They also have a pizza restaurant that opens later in the day. We ordered breakfast from their outside window. They are expensive, for 2 pastries, a breakfast sandwich and 1 coffee we spent $50. The bearclaw pastry was large and tasty, the lemon blueberry scone lacked the hype. Their breakfast sandwich on their bagels were fresh and very cheesy. Another party in our group ordered the cinnamon bun which was actually more a ball of fried dough rolled in cinnamon sugar than a cinnamon bun and it was really small and a disappointment.

    The Bolton turkey sandwich

First time at Lake George left a bad taste in my mouth. After waiting on the street for them to pass our order through a window, we took our "The Bolton" sandwiches to eat on our boat for lunch. When we unwrapped them we found the least amount of turkey you could legally put on a sandwich and still call it a turkey sandwich (see picture)! To add insult to injury when I reviewed the receipt that was emailed to me I noticed that the price was higher than as stated on their website and I was surprised that I was upcharged for having it on bread. $18 a sandwich was way too much to pay for this interpretation of a turkey sandwich.

Pastries are so so good! Any of their sandwiches are great on their everything croissant. Muffins make us keep coming back. Service was great!

I haven't given a 2 star review in awhile. The bear claw alone is 4 stars. It was great, super buttery and flakey and filled with chocolate. A little greasy on the bottom, but still delicious and I'd come back for that. Everything else was blah down to the service. 2 bagels (1 a BEC, the other lox with cream cheese, a bear claw, cold brew and chocolate milk was $53!!!) the guy taking orders didn't even look at me while I was ordering. Bizarre. They accept cash, but don't give you back change. *side eye* I asked for a sesame bagel and got a plain bagel. Cream cheese wasn't spread out. Lox was good. Bagels were on the smaller side and were just ok. (I'm comparing these to Long Island bagels.) The BEC was cold, cheese wasn't melted. I had high hopes for the place because of the reviews, but ultimately I wouldn't come back.

After already visiting Caldwell's and Dr. Brown's Pub, La Bella Vita was our final stop for dinner. The setting is absolutely lovely, and I can only imagine how spectacular it must be in the summer overlooking Lake George. Even in the winter, it felt warm and inviting, and the dining room was pleasantly busy. Our meal was very good and satisfying. We enjoyed the prime rib, and our friends ordered a pasta dish -- everything was flavorful and nicely prepared. We truly had a nice evening. The only small disappointment was that the lunch menu on Friday and Saturday in the Caldwell was the same exact menu for dinner in La Bella Vita. There were only a few entrée options, including sandwiches and pizza that we had already tried. We may have been expecting something a bit more grand or elevated for dinner. That said, overall it was a very nice experience. Prices are on the higher side, but that's to be expected at a beautiful resort like this. We're grateful for a lovely weekend and look forward to returning.

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly, and asked if we wanted to sit outside overlooking the lake, or inside, and we of course said outside. We had prime seating on the terrace and enjoyed the lush greenery and the lake waking up. There was a comfortable breeze that made the whole experience top notch. Our waiter, Fabian, was super sweet, friendly, and full of smiles. We decided to do the al a carte option as opposed to the buffet, even though many of the other patrons who were staying at the Sagamore did do this. I had my heart set on the thick cut stuffed French toast, because it's fancy and I'm 40 now so why not - while hubby got their lobster eggs benedict. The food came out beautiful and was just as delicious! My french toast was piled high with berries and powdered sugar, and hubby's eggs came with rosemary roasted potatoes. We cleaned out our plates happily.

All locally sourced ingredients being used here and great attention to detail for each pizza. Their pies are 12 inches, but are definitely filling. I'd say most normal appetite eaters could split a pie with their bud and still be happy, though if you're a monster eater, you'd want one all to yourself most def. See my pics as they tell a great story about their pies and pricing. They're using a nifty wood fired oven that is totally transportable using their truck and they're running nice, hot temps in that oven. The stone brick decking in their oven runs so hot that you get a real nice char on the dough, but the inside is soft and chewy, just like I likes it! The pizza peel guy told me the oven was burning at about 650 degrees when he was roatating my pizza. These guys know how to use their oven and they keep a watchful eye to make sure rotation is happening just as it should, that way your pie gets the perfect char while maintaining that soft and chewy love on the inside! Wicked good. Had a pepperoni pie this time round and the owner told me he that he hand slices each pepperoni so each slice is super thick, which indeed they were. The hot, hot wood fire gives the pepperoni a great crisp/char on the edges that adds that extra dimension of flavor that all good roni pizzas have. Great tang in the pepperoni and the sauce offered a great balance to an overall great pizza. Abundant cheese tops it all off real, real nice. Follow them on Facebook to see where they'll be appearing next. They apparently can cater and do private events as well. Finally, they also accept credit cards using their cell phone card swiper and they can text you the receipt for your purchase. Looking forward to meeting up with these folks again down the road to get another great pie. I have a feeling they're going to be really busy as word gets out about the quality they're cranking out.
