I had been wanting to try out Bears Cup/ being from a local area I spent many summers on Lake George so was excited after seeing the buzz on social media. It was so well worth the wait! The food was delicious- toasted bagel with honey siracha cream cheese. Delicious coffee. Bear claw pastry. But what I thought was even more worth the wait, was the hustle and love I saw from the staff. I unfortunately didn't get a single photo from the multiple trips we made to Bears cup from our stay at the Sagamore. We ordered so many things, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, almond croissants (my personal fav) blueberry muffins. And coffees. Everything was cooked to perfection, the dirty chai is a must try. The kids all loved their bagels. Yes they have a line that is fairly long, but it does move fast. I was worried something would have been forgotten since we ordered so many items. But nope everything was there, you can tell it's a well oiled machine. Can't wait to visit next year. read more

This place is absolutely delicious and serves the best breakfast in Bolton Landing. While their bagels are delicious and popular, I really think their everything croissants and coffee cakes are even better! There's always a line, but be patient. And be prepared that either they're sold out of bagels/items or they aren't ready/baked when you order in the morning. This happened to me on the 3 times we visited during our trip. Love this place. The iced coffee is excellent, tasty smooth and delicious. The XL fulfills my needs on an early morning, but the QT size cup will not fit in your cup holder. Had the "201" Breakfast Sandwich on ciabatta bread and it was delicious. Egg cooked perfectly, warm cheese and Taylor ham. Try the Bear Claw if you're looking for a warm morning pastry that will not leave you disappointed. I'm very excited to have found this spot and look forward to coming for years to come. read more

We are from manhattan and are used to somewhat high prices but this place is beyond ridiculous. Breakfast for two people 2 bagels, 2 coffees, and a cinnamon role for $76 pre-tip. If the bagel would be great maybe but it's a very mediocre bagel and the coffee is simply bad quality. Every single deli in the city is better. I hope more people start to boycott businesses like that! read more

Each morning that we came here during our vacation, the line was super long, which is always a good sign! Their food is delicious and they have good lattes. The one thing I didn't quite like was that the flavored lattes weren't sweet enough for my liking, so maybe ask for extra flavor if you like your lattes sweet. We went to the bears cup pizza, their 2nd business. Absolutely everything was delicious , but especially the gluten free cauliflower pizza! When I told the owner my daughter had celiacs, he went above and beyond to ensure there was no cross contamination. He and the rest of the crew were so nice !! we will be back for sure!! read more

My previous review was removed as I wasn't specific enough with my comments. Bear's Cup is just about average. It is overhyped and overpriced. Having lived in NYC this isn't even that expensive, but for the area I would want above average food to pay above average for the area. For a plain bagel with cream cheese and a latte I spent ~$13. The owner previously commented this is because everything they have is made in house (syrups, etc.). My latte had a bunch of sugar sitting at the bottom and wasn't dissolved. Does the cinnamon brown sugar latte not have real ingredients in it? Confusing. My bagel had so much cream cheese that it was thicker than the bagel itself. There is no indoor seating currently due to covid. I would try the place next door over Bear's Cup. read more

Well...add my 5 star review to the other 77 5 star reviews...for all the same reasons. DELISH. Everything. I do find it odd that they refuse to serve over medium eggs, so don't ask or you will be promptly rejected. But other than that I can't stay away. Even though they force me to eat dry eggs, everything is so good I will gladly choke them down for another one of those everything bagels and cinnamon rolls. See you tomorrow, Bear's Cup... Well...tomorrow is here and every day I find another reason to love this place. Bacon Egg and Cheese on a Croissant = Superb, Bear's Claw = Divine. And they even read my review and thanked me for it by breaking protocol and making my egg sandwich JUST the way I like it. Stopped for breakfast and coffee on a quick boat trip to the west side of the lake. My wife and I shared a BEC (bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich) and a plain croissant. The sandwich was perfection! I forgot to ask for my usual everything bagel, but once I took my first bite I stopped caring about my mistake. And the croissant was just as good. Order a homemade from scratch bears claw cinnamon roll chocolate croissant variety of muffins gluten free coconut banana bread or one of their artisan breads and you will not be disappointed. Not to mention a variety of their amazing over-seeded bagels. There usually is a line bc they are the Best Breakfast in Bolton but thankfully the experienced staff keeps it moving quickly. My husband and I stumbled upon Bears Cup in late Fall of 2019, we were overjoyed to find this shop, serving some of the most delicious food I've ever had. The staff, husband and wife owners, were so incredibly friendly and attentive, they went above and beyond to ensure we had the best visit. Fast forward four years and more visits than I can count, Bear's Cup is hands down the best around. I cannot wait for the day (I've already asked ) that they can ship me bagels regularly since I'm not as close as we used to be! My family and I were walking this morning and stumbled upon the Bear Cup. We were instantly intrigued and decided to give the restaurant a try, and we were pleasantly surprised! The ambiance was superb, with a blend of music for all ages, I found myself singing along while enjoying my yogurt parfait. The menu was super creative, with dishes for everyone. Visited Bolton Landing for the first time this summer and to say we loved Bears Cup along with Loda would be an understatement. The coffee and pastries were divine, literally melt in your mouth croissants. We were so tired of the hotel buffet and so decided to venture out at 7:15am (thank you for early opening w/kids) We ordered 4 BECs & an everything bagel w/scallion. I'm from NYC and moved to the capital region about two years ago and have been searching for the perfect bagel. You can find NYC bagels anywhere in the capital region- then I found Bear's Cup. I loved them so much. Bagels were soft and crispy while still being warm. I had an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and AMAZING. My other half had a BEC on a plain bagel which he said which was the best he has ever had (outside NYC). We also had a banana Nutella croissant which was delicious!! I loved Bear's cup and will definitely be driving an hour and 15 min from my location to get some fresh bagels and cream cheese. If you need a sign to go to Bear's Cup, this is it!!!! Came to lake George for the first time and looked up reviews for bagels and pastries and even though there was only about 50+ reviews it was a solid 5 stars!!! This place is AMAZING!!! The food is fresh and delicious. We came here 2 days in a row !! Being from NYC we are all about our bagels- this place is top notch / our bag of bagels were hot and the smell was absolutely fantastic. A crunchy outside, cooked perfectly with a great softer inside. The Nutella banana croissant was to die for!! This is a must try!!! The almond croissant is another solid choice. The coffee was satisfying!! Line moves quick,they have a great set up. If I come back to visit Lake George I will definitely be coming back to Bearscup. I highly recommend this place.
