He told me they were going to work on it right away and so I said great! After confirming that the water pump had broken and that they could have it repaired the same day I was very surprised and impressed. I did get a little concerned with the estimate but up to this point everything had gone better then expected so I went ahead and told them to get it repaired. Later that afternoon I got a call telling me that The job was done so I went in and picked it up after they let me know about a payment option which I qualified for and all was good again in my life!! The job carries a two year or 20,000 mile warranty and I even had my original cost for the inspection returned to me which I needed. I highly recommend dirks transmission and repairs to anyone with a small to large repair and need it done quickly and with complete professionalism. I will be going back for any future repairs and maintenance needed on my daily driver C6 Corvette 2008. Thanks Omar and the entire staff at Dirks auto repair. I wanted to post an update as of the end of the week of the repairs being completed and I did take my car back to Dirks because of a smell of antifreeze and just wanted to be safe. So there was a small leak in a heater hose that went undetected during the final pressure test performed. Omar told me to bring it in and we can take a second look so I did and it does happen, there was a small leak in a heater hose and it needed to be replaced as well. The car had been sitting for two years without being driven, and I clearly explained this to Warners. I was told they would handle the full maintenance it needed. After three weeks, I picked up the car and paid a $3,500 bill. One week later, the fuel line breaks, and I have to get the car towed back to Warners. Rick tells me it's "normal," replaces the hose, and sends me on my way. Another week goes by, and now the car is leaking oil all over my driveway. I bring it back again, and Rick says--once more--it's the hose. I pay another $550. I asked why all the hoses weren't replaced during the first visit, knowing the car had been sitting for two years. Their response? "How can we know?" Well... you're the professionals. That's exactly what you're supposed to know. The very next morning, I drive to the store to grab donuts for my son. I park, come back to the car--and it won't start at all. I call Rick again, and he says, "I don't know." If you don't know, then who does? Especially when you claim you've been in this business since childhood. At this point, I've spent over $4,500, and the car is in worse condition than when I brought it in. Issues that were never there before suddenly showed up after their "maintenance." My honest opinion: this place is a scam. No integrity, no accountability, no honesty. TPS sensor needed to be replaced, instead of repairing it he just ordered the part then gave it to me in the box. He was too busy on a Friday afternoon to remedy the problem. 0/5 stars because the car ended up totaled within 1-2 weeks due to all the unforeseen problems. When I checked the fuses to see why the stereo and back up camera weren't working it was missing around 10 fuses so I know they only took out the fuses to make it seem like the car was passable. My family friend referred me to specifically Ron and I was dismissed and disappointed that they've spent multiple years with this mechanic. Really makes me wonder how many times he's scammed them over the duration of 5-10 years. In all honesty the car over heated and blew up the engine as I was headed to drive it through the walls of this establishment (lucky them).
