It has a religious background, and they have bible verses printed on their pamphlets and the check in and check out rules. I love it. I'm glad to see these companies still providing information but not shoving it down people's throats. When we arrived at the Main Office, we provided our information and was asked for the credit card or a credit card for the remainder of the payment due (you pay around 10-20 % online as a deposit before your trip and the remaining upon arrival). The employee that was helping us, swiped the card twice, but when the second transaction with through it still left the pending transaction on the card. Not his fault, but we were out the money on the credit card for the trip since there was "nothing" that could be done. The check in was easy and painless, the check-out was even better. We did have to call regarding the fireplace not working in our cabin, and some sort of animal was in the roof on our departure. The cabin. The cabin was wonderful, quite cozy. The hot tub on the deck was fantastic, as well as all of the appliances .The George Foreman was much better than what we expected. The only downfall to the trip was the water in the jacuzzi tub was sulfur water, and the water for the bathroom sink downstairs was sulfur water. So we didn't use the tub, nor the bathroom sink water. We brushed with bottle water and called it a day. Sulfur water isn't a bad thing, and we are in the mountains so it is expected. So we made do with what we had and still had an amazing time. The drive way is very steep, so if it was snow or ice, there is no way we could have made it up (we were in a 2wd not 4wd). Overall the stay was exactly what we were needing, it was a nice relaxing getaway with privacy. The cabin and people we met on this trip were perfect and helped with any issues we had. We will definitely rent again from Hidden Mountain.

However, the road leading to the cabin is very steep, so getting up there in winter may not always be an option, depending on snowfall. The fully furnished cabin has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a pull out sleeper couch, a hot tub, a pool table, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen. It has all the amenities that you'd have at home, including a charcoal grill, Blu-ray players, DVD movies, cable TV, air conditioning/heating, gas fireplace, laundry, and Wi-Fi internet. The cabin has a wonderful view of the smoky mountains, a front porch (with decorative lights on a timer), a back porch (also with decorative lights on a timer), and is surrounded by beautiful, tall trees. We loved every minute that we stayed here and we wanted to stay longer, but couldn't. This visit was a trip to remember. We'd definitely stay at this cabin again. It was perfect.

I would absolutely recommend staying here whether you're a family, a group of friends or ever a couple who wants to relax in the mountains. The resort lodging is great. There are many options with large rooms, numerous bathrooms, and lots of living space for entertainment. Each property has decks that allow for courageous viewing of the smoky mountains! The resort also has a pool which we were able to use. It was incredible to swim and see the mountains! We did not see any bears during our stay but we did wish we did! There were some footprints as well as overturned trash so we assume they were nearby. I would come back and rent a place here if I ever make it back to Tennessee!

Lots of towel, soaps, detergents, soaps for dishwasher, all kitchen supplies (Knife, cutting board, dishes, salt & pepper, etc) and charcoal grill. The house was spacious and felt simultaneously spacious and cozy. With a jacuzzi on the balcony, swinging benches on the other balcony, a pool table, foosball table, and a couple arcade games, it was definitely a fun place to stay with friends. I'd also recommend it with family! The views were fantastic as well. The location is nestled somewhat behind Dollywood. It shouldn't be too hard to find, but just be wary because the entrance does sneak up on you somewhat as you're driving in.

After Ray & I were engaged, being the planner that I am, I researched at minimum 20 destinations across the U.S., countless inclusive and not so inclusive destination packages, and spent more hours than I'd like to admit looking at pictures and reading reviews. We wanted the most important, memorable day of our lives to be at a low-key, intimate venue that would allow us to focus on each other and our first days as husband and wife (without breaking the bank). Without hesitation we can say, Bluff Mountain Inn exceeded every expectation! Their packages are extremely reasonable and you get so much more than what's on paper. They really enjoy what they do and cover all the bases, providing as stress free of a day as possible with the focus on making your wedding everything you dreamed, not like you're their 100th+ event. Just a couple of items I'm glad we added: - A second photo session to capture us the day before the wedding. We've never had professional pictures before and are so happy we have the moments before and after captured to treasure through the years. - Hair and makeup the day of the wedding delivered with sweet, southern charm. I've never looked better and learned several new makeup and hair tricks. Plus it was awesome having someone to chat with before the big moment :) - An extra day at the Inn. We used the time to explore parks, caverns and family owned local cuisine (awesome area for bbq!) Not to sound too gushy, but I really can't imagine our day (and stay) being more perfect. Thank you!
