So, I was ready for some chicken wings for my first meal home! We were initially going to go to BarBill, but it was over an hour wait. I've been wanting to try Main and Hamlin, so I figured this would be the ideal time. They didn't disappoint! The chicken wings were amazing! We had Cajun honey barbecue and the medium. Both orders came out crispy and perfectly brushed with the sauce. My goodness, they were sooo good! The blue cheese was the best homemade blue cheese I've ever had. The service was spot on and dining wasn't it too loud and nice and spacious. Super clean too! Can't wait to come back!!! PS, wings were so spot on, I hollered back to the guys in the kitchen to give em kudos. Their response... "Because they're made with love!" You could tell they were! Cheers!

That corn dip is a real game changer. My father-in-law asked for a second one, and I understand why. It has great flavor. If you don't order the tacos, at least order the corn dip as an appetizer. I also got a maple Manhattan. Normally I'm not a Manhattan girl, and it was a Monday when we went, so I wasn't completely on my A-game, and I was thinking a maple old fashioned sounded great. The moment I said Manhattan, I thought, "Shoot, I ordered the wrong thing." I also didn't correct myself. I'm glad I didn't. That was a very palatable drink. I highly recommend it. Service was great.

We got there at 6p and received our order at 6:56. Unacceptable and never again. Cost us over an hour and a half of our trip time. Food was ok but definitely not worth getting off the interstate for. UPDATE: This is the owner's response. "Tony Griffin I apologize for that. I wish you would've spoke to me before you posted a yelp review just saying and if you would've talked to me beforehand, and if I knew what was going on for I was in and out I probably would've gave all the food to you for nothing" And my reply was: Gordon Sheffer Thanks for replying. I understand things can get busy, but nearly an hour wait with no explanation, especially when no one else was dining in, just isn't acceptable -- and it's not on me to chase down the owner to make that right. You were the one that brought our food out. I asked the young man at the register if there was an issue with our food and he acted lost. I shared my honest experience so others can decide if it's worth their time. Hopefully the feedback helps.

We were the only ones in the room so it was great to be as loud as we wanted without disturbing anyone. They have a large parking lot but it can be easy to miss since it's by one of the roundabout's. I had the Beef on Weck wrap. Asked our waitress about it since it's been a while since I was there. She said it was one of the newer items and is very popular. The beef is wrapped in a flour tortilla with provolone, creamy horseradish, salt & caraway seeds & finished in a panini press. It comes with chips and a pickle but I upgraded to fries. My choices were straight cut, waffle or sweet potato so I opted for waffle fries. I would definitely order it again. Everyone enjoyed their food, too busy talking to take pics but some of their options were the beer cheddar soup, corned beef quesadilla, burger, chicken sandwich, roast beef on white bread with mashed potatoes & gravy. Their rye bread is baked in-house and you can purchase it just like one of my friends did.

Very nice patio with heaters 3. The delicious roast beef dinner I got with homemade mashed potatoes . Perfect comfort meal! Cons- 1. Service was slow(ish) and they couldn't do separate checks as there was only 1 server for the entire patio on a Friday night . 2. My side salad was weak - even had that core of the romaine lettuce in it . I barely ate any of it, but didn't like the soup option (Manhattan clam chowder ) to send it back that night . 3. My friend's steak sandwich was lackluster, but everyone else seemed to like their food . I'd go back to try something else on the menu - but man that Roast beef was so good , maybe I would just get that again!

Plus, if you're just stopping for a drink, the bar has always been pretty fun - always a nice group of locals, down to earth folk here. The menu was a really good mix of options with plenty of choices for everyone, no matter what you're in the mood for. Located just a short hop outside of East Aurora, I always find it's worth my drive from Williamsville to do a little shopping in town and grab a lunch or dinner at Kodiak Jack's. My latest choice was the prime rib and stuffed hot pepper sandwich. It was some of the most tender prime rib I have ever had on a sandwich. Chicken wings were half price, so we started with wings as an appetizer to split between us. The wings had a nice light crisp on the outside, and were tender and juicy on the inside. Perfection. Portions are hardy, there's no skimping here. If you're looking for a new restaurant option and want to turn it into an afternoon, drive on out to East Aurora and see some of the most beautiful shops and have a lovely meal.

It's a great place for wings or if you are in to bbq (pulled pork, brisket, even pulled chicken)! I went with the pulled chicken and the portion was huge. You get to pick 2 sides and went with the fresh cut fries and mac & cheese which were good but I regretted not getting the loaded potato salad.. I guess I'll get it next time!
