We found this place by chance. We were trying to find a place to eat around Tuffnel Park (we had no idea about that area at all). It is located next to the tube station. We saw it from outside and I though: oh, well, it looks cosy and cute. I felt in love with the decoration, plain and simple, but lovely, large wooden tables and a really big counter full of delicious food.
We took a couple of seats in one of the tables. The place was almost packed (full of middle class mommies with their little ones). Later I found out the place also has a room full of things for babies. They can spend hours there playing with toys!! it's so much fun!!
Food was great. I didn't try the coffee but we had a couple of amazing sandwiches. Mine was so yummy (bacon, cheese, rockets and alioli mayo). They serve them with a portion of salad on the side and I have to say the dressing is really good. I saw some poached eggs on toast with bacon in another table, and I definitely have to come back to try that!
Staff is friendly and helpful. Really patient with all the little costumers they have every day. It's not in my area but I wouldn't mind to come back to Tuffnel Park just to try another dish or just to chill out. read more
