if you're looking for a quiet space with a lot of room to either talk with friends while sipping on a coffee or study this coffee shop is fantastic. It's roomie and spacious and it has good coffee and good food. Including pastries and savory dishes you might want to get there early because the tables for work to fill up pretty quickly. Hopefully they will add more table tables soon. read more

Bean2Bean, located inside Billy Penn Studios, has become one of my favorite breakfast spots and places to work in Philly. Once you walk into the building, you immediately recognize the cool decor. The owner and people that work there are always super nice and helpful. One of the baristas always has a great music playlist on! During my last visit, I ordered my favorite "Papas Blanco Bowl," which comes with eggs (I get mine scrambled, and it's always so fluffy), green peppers, potatoes, onions, and a side of sauce. This bowl is so yummy! I need to venture out and try something else, but for now, it has been my delicious go-to. They have pastries, cookies, and lunch options as well. The coffee here is good too. I recently had the Dulce de Leche latte, which was great. I love coming here! I order my food to stay there, and they bring your food to wherever you decide to sit, which is nice! Plenty of places to eat and get work done. There are outlets as well as WiFi. At the moment, street parking isn't bad at all. read more

Bean2Bean Cafe is such a gem. The space is super clean and welcoming, perfect whether you are grabbing a quick coffee or trying to get some work done. The coffee is excellent. I even picked up some cold brew for the house and it has been a game changer. Their food is also top notch. The El Pollo Loco is my absolute favorite. If you are looking for a comfortable spot to study or work outside of your home, this is the place. What are you waiting for ?!!! CHECK OUT BEAN2BEAN! Their Hospitality is everything! The employees are so welcoming and friendly, which makes every visit a great experience. The vibe of the place is unmatched, cozy yet lively, and you can really feel the community atmosphere. The food and drinks are incredible ! My favorite as of right now is their BLT, THE BEST I EVER HAD. Their drinks are to die for. When I want something warm, I always go for the London Fog, it's so comforting and delicious. For something cold, the Coquito Latte is AMAZING, and honestly one of the best drinks I've had anywhere. And if you're a matcha lover, theirs is easily one of the best I've ever tasted. One of the things I love most about Bean2Bean is that they're always adding something new to the menu. They're so creative in everything they do, and you can tell they really care about what people want .... then they deliver on it! Everything about Bean2Bean makes it a place worth recommending. First of all best egg sandwich in philly, the Billy Penn B.E.C with the house-made chile morita sauce is incredible! Love the way they incorporate tastes of Puerto rico in their coffee and food. The staff is so friendly and the vibes are cozy! They have space where its dark and moody and spaced out and they have an area thats full of natural lighting and more tables giving that close cafe vibe. So perfect fit for anyone! read more

What an amazing edition to the neighborhood! As a long time fan of Bean 2 Bean coffee, I'm excited to see this evolution in their brand. It's clear that they not only have AMAZING coffee- but a clear investment in the Philadelphia community at large. The cafe itself is inside of the Billy Penn Studios. When you walk in it's the main vibe. Some music- some good eats and that trademark perfect coffee will help you set the tone for your whole day. Their menu is curated so thoughtfully with something for everyone! Pastellios (pah-stel-ee-ohs) are next level tasty and satisfying! Every time. My favorite is the GUAVA BBQ Pork. The bagel sandwich Fancy Pants is something I think about in my dreams... There's also a full pastry case full of cookies and scones- the folks ahead of me were excited to get a Nutella muffin (what?!) and a maple bacon scone. I'll be back to try those for sure. If you're a coffee purist- grab a drip coffee and milk/sugar it yourself...or trust the geniuses behind the counter to make you a latte with almost any flavor- or try a cold brew/cold foam. The place is absolutely awesome. There's plenty of parking. The whole area is up and coming. The building is beautiful and the people that work there are absolutely awesome. And the food. Yes, the food is so good. The breakfast sandwich with the bacon unbelievable. Huge go there if you're hungry and even if you're not, they got everything for everyone, and if you love coffee, there is no better place in Philadelphia. Their coffee is made by the original B2B coffee company, which is in Philly, bean 2 bean coffee company which also owns the café, which is amazing. Just go there and try the food. And if you can't make it, go online and get their coffee. My favorite is Franklin reserve but there's so many different choices. They make all the other coffee companies look cheap because they put a lot of quality and love into their products. read more

I love this place. The flat white dark roast is really outstanding - I have never had better coffee, period. I love the space, the staff are cool, and personally I enjoy the buzz of traffic of young professionals doing business in the building. The beautifully restored interior is something you can't anticipate from the street. A grungy old industrial building reborn as an inspiring example of what is possible in Philly. This isn't a review of the cafe as I haven't visited yet, but of their bagged coffee. I'm a coffee fan (though I wouldn't characterize myself as a snob), and I've tried them all - from Maxwell House to the stuff you have refinance your house in order to buy a half a pound of beans. I use a Mocca Master home brewer. I tried Bean2Bean due a discount being offered by Indego Bike Share. I can say without hesitation that their Schuylkill Select is among the best if not the best coffee for home brewing I have ever used. The aroma upon opening the bag was amazing. That sometimes doesn't translate to what's in the cup, but it did here. Will definitely buy again and look forward to trying their other selections.
