Out here living that Salud life…read more Salud is a tasty addition to 2nd Street in Belmont Shores. I've found myself returning here again and again, because their juices are just that good. Salud specializes in fresh pressed juices, but also offers health shots, smoothies, acai bowls, avocado toast, soup, and baked goods. I've tried a number of their green juices and only recently started exploring their latte menu. Their superfood lattes are incredibly unique and filled with natural ingredients that will activate your brain. I tried the Head Change, which is filled with lion's mane, maca, dates, MCT oil, lucuma, and your choice of milk. This drink was creamy and tasted a bit like a light horchata. I also snagged their 100% pear juice (so tasty!) and the handmade strawberry poptart (filled with the most delicious jam!) I love how dog friendly this place is as well. There's a perfect little bench outside to enjoy your sweet treat with your bestie.

The guy that made it was an older gentleman, no name tag but super sweet. I saw they pickle their onions and make their pickles in house. Dope! This one had a Dr. Bronners refill station which was pretty cool! Stores clean, employees are great, again they had the LB merch section and envirotokens. I'm a big fan of their meats, produce, and snack line up. What makes this spot stand out is the variety of health based bites. I love trying unique snack and beverage brands and Lazy Acres always has something new for me to explore. I also enjoy their high quality meat selection. I never question if I'm getting the best. Highly recommend exploring this spot when you get a chance. Warning, it's an expensive addiction.

I opted for the Sweetheart Smoothie except I asked to not have the collagen and to see if honey and a vanilla vegan protein could be added. The employee helping me was super accommodating and I was very appreciative of the options and recommendations she gave me.
