Very nice and helpful staff. We spent three hours there and had a great time. Nice selection of beads and accessories.

Hefez & Sons Jewelers - The watch I needed two links taken out of.

I called and spoke with Lisa regarding having links taken out of a watch that the band is made of…read morebamboo wood. I went in yesterday afternoon, Lisa remembered the conversation. She asked the young lady in the back, I believe her name started with an M if it was doable to remove links. She said it was. I was asked if I wanted to leave the watch or come back. I opted to wait. They tried the watch on and decided two links was enough. Great job and the cost was $10.00. The service that Lisa and her staff provide is top notch. I would recommend going to them to handle any of your jewelry needs. Thank you Lisa Hefez and staff.

I lack words to express how much my wife and I appreciate the service we received at Hefez…read moreyesterday. My wife will have surgery Friday and a few days ago the doctor said she must remove all of her rings, including one she had not taken off for years because of severe arthritis. We tried every remedy, cold, oil, WD40 and dental floss, but nothing worked. Already anxious about the surgery, this problem just seemed to be too much. Out of desperation, I suggested trying a jeweler and Hefez came up on Yelp. They answered my call, understood and sympathized with our problem and arranged a convenient time. On arrival Mr. Hefez (I assume he is the eponymous owner) found the right, obscure tool and spent 20 minutes patiently sawing off my wife's ring. He gathered and bagged for us the dust and a tiny diamond chip that fell off along with the ring. We are still worried about the surgery, but Hefez took an unnecessary stress off our shoulders. We are tremendously grateful. The store itself seemed to be a fine, local, family business, but what stood out to my wife and me was the warmth, care and thoughtfulness of the people working there. That must carry over to the more routine services they provide. If you are looking for a non-chain jeweler between Providence and Boston, please consider Hefez.

Vintage has a great, eclectic selection of clothes and accessories that have a pretty, feminine aesthetic. The jewelery selection is strong. They have a wide range of styles and it's easy to find unique pieces. The reason I docked a star is that its greatest strength is also its greatest weakness. The prices and styles can vary a lot from piece to piece and season to season. You might see very reasonably priced dresses hanging next to blouses that cost three times as much, and there are youthful styles mixed with really matronly pieces. This isn't objectively a bad thing, but it does mean that you can't always know what to expect (besides gorgeous jewelery). It's worth noting that when they have a sale, they _really_ have a sale. At the end of the season, there will sometimes be a discount on nearly every article of clothing in the store.

After visiting Eva B next door and dealing with the bitchy attitude of the woman who worked there, these girls were a refreshing change. I love that they have the Pilgrim jewelry line as well, one of my favorites! They have a huge selection of jewelry and a great range of costume to moderately expensive choices. I'll be stopping in here again soon!

I brought in my antique engagement ring that was incorrectly resized by a previous jeweler…read moreresulting in an oval shank. I had concerns about the ring spinning despite resizing. Gary inspected the ring in great detail and made a recommendation to remove some of the shank and rebuild it, as well as to place tension springs to prevent spinning and slipping. He took his time to measure my finger for the optimal fit. I was told by another jeweler that all of my prongs needed replacement and I wanted a second opinion. Gary again took his time to inspect all the prongs and reassured me that they didn't need replacement. I was very glad for his honesty. The next business day, Gary fixed the ring in 3-4 hours and it came out beautifully. I was so nervous previously to entrust someone with my ring, but I felt at ease. Gary offered that I stay and watch the entire process. He told me to inspect my gemstone carefully after his job was complete as general good practice after having my jewelry worked on! I am so happy with the end result and strongly recommend this jeweler. The key factors that impressed me most were honesty, trustworthiness, attention to detail, patience, mastery of his craft, and sharing of knowledge/providing an understandable rationale for his decision-making. I will absolutely be returning for intermittent ring checks!

We were on a mission. We needed a birthday gift for an eight-year-old boy. The kid is into Egypt…read more What do you get a kid like this? Where do you get it? Three days before his party the Gods smiled upon us. A store opened nearby called..."King Tut". Apparently the name, "Egyptian Gifts For That Kid That Is Really Into Egypt" was already taken. The owner Ashraf gave us an enthusiastic tour of the store, pointing out a variety of things and explaining each in detail. Hand-beaded Egyptian cotton dresses. Beaded headdresses. Custom earrings. Beautiful perfume bottles. Handbags. When we explained the purpose of our visit, he honed in on specifics. He had t-shirts. He had pyramids. He had hookahs - no, scratch that. He had statues of various Gods and Goddesses. Nothing seemed just right. And then came the offer. "I can make him a Khartouche on papyrus. Just give me his name." The birthday boy's name written in hieroglyphs on papyrus, suitable for framing! Hmm. It was too good to be true! This wasn't just a birthday present; it was a soon-to-be treasured possession. It was perfect! We gave Ashraf the boy's name and agreed to pick up the Khartouche that evening. When our young friend opened his gift he was speechless. He knew immediately what it was and what it said. He just held it carefully in his hands and stared. I'm sure it has taken residence in a place of esteem in an 8 year-old's room. BTW-they also do custom jewelry and jewelry repairs. Ashraf and his staff are knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Welcome to Mansfield, success to you!
